I haven't fully set in stone the concepts of the timeline mechanics, since I wanted to put a bit more of a complex thought into it but I'm too dumb LOL but what I got so far is that time crystals can be used to restore a certain point in history and somehow alter the chain of events to create a new timeline, so there's actually multiple timelines, and i'd say it's a mix of both, like a multi-timeline kind of situation? and since Zekki's timeline kind of "resets" and becomes corrupted due to the paradox, it's kinda like each reset causes a chain reaction that destabilizes all the previous timelines, hence the retrocasuality effect of time crystals also without the power of time crystals fully restored, he can't really travel between timelines there is a set of events that make Zekki realize that he isn't in the "main" timeline, but still gotta work on that plot twist part of the story

I still have no idea how my characters put on clothes without making them sorta anthro. I really like your idea! I'd like to say more, but I'm busy with studying rn. Anyway, it's good I learn more about how your world works, cause of the AU I wanted to work on. It seems like your explanation falls in line with what I wanted to do, so yay it works out. The name of the AU guy I showed you is Kizuu. I decided that his story revolves around fixing the holes in the fabric of space in time. He has a sort of seamstress theme going on. Since his body is a mix of both Zekki and Zukki, I'm thinking the universe can sense something wrong, and his body is constantly fighting itself. He has crystals growthes all over his body at times, and the only way to mend his body is to restore every timeline back to normal. (like a prism crystal) So basically, he needs to stop Zukki and Zekki from fighting. Of course, I want the story to be more than that, so it's not a rehash of your work. I was thinking it would be a psychological horror focusing on his deteriorating psyche. I'd love to learn more about Zukki and who he was before everything happened. I wonder if Zukki comes from a different timeline like the 90s or what. Alsooo, I gotta know if you're planning on making another video like "everything black" again.
WAHSJA you've got a point too, I usually try not to stress too much about my characters wearing clothes as feral, I just assume it's normal in their universe nowadays the terms are vaguely used to describe four or two-legged characters, but the anatomy resembling more animal or human parts can vary depending on the artist, like how some draw anthros with more human-like hands, but personally, I prefer when they're designed to be more animal-like
sometimes I might just switch between feral/anthro whenever it's convenient, since I like my story/designs to have that kind of flexibility speaking of which, I just recently designed anthro clothes for Zukii and Zekki >:3
and ooo Kizuu sounds so interesting !! poor little guy dealing with the consequences of my reckless boys </3 it's also cool that you're taking it in a direction that let's you explore your own concepts, while still working out seamlessly with the established tone of the story I LOVE the psychological horror concept, no one is mentally stable in this story lolol
As for Zukki, I think he's mostly just a regular guy in the early 2000's, he's from the same timeline as Zekii, just from a future time! Zukii got his own struggles, but still gotta figure that out both of them are probably as mentally unstable wahjsa but Zukii is better at hiding his feelings it hurts them both, but at the same time, they kinda need each other? maybe it's something more complex, like a memory from another version of himself that haunts him could be really trippy if Zukki starts questioning his own identity at some point, like "was I always supposed to be here? what happened to the version of me that wasn't so broken?" like some kind of premonition to the paradox thing
And a follow-up video to Everything Black YEAHH the closest project I have to a successor right now is my Lost My Mind AMV that focuses on E.B backstory, I have it fully storyboarded, I just have to work on it xD I finished this one scene and then completely abandoned it,,, but this time I really wanna push myself and go beyond Everything Black
LETS GOOO MORE STUFF BETTER THEN EVERYTHING BLACK!!! I love your anthro clothing designs, they're so good :00 I love brown palletes sm, really makes the rest of their colors pop. And Belts are always such a nice touch!! I love imagining Zukki behind one of those old computers as an office worker lol. good stuff!! He could be a web designer alongside a painter. :D thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!! Also, would you mind If I made keychains of some of your characters? I wouldn't sell them, of course.
