I've been slowly making progress on a lot of my side projects and stuff because they're a lot smaller than the huge stories I tried to write as a kid and now need to revamp... Them big stories are the center of the big world almost all my other stories take place in, so I feel like my written foundation is a little shaky since I'm writing while pretending those stories are already done so readers already have an idea about the world. ^^;

She's a fabulous big sis. She actually humors all the ridiculousness I put her characters through. XD I really wish I could've finished the sequel comic I wrote for the first one, but my art style has improved quite a bit since then so there would be a jump in quality for the not-purposely-poorly-drawn sections. ^^; Maybe I should revamp the entire comic.

There's a huge chunk of my characters from my original story ideas when I was in 2nd-4th grade. That was around the time when Minty was really writing lots of those stories. Colosseum came out at the end of 2003, and of course I watched Minty play it every step of the way. Her writing that big story of her own was probably what got me coming up with a bunch of stories of my own. But of course they're ridiculous, kiddy, and not really that planned out, but I still love them so now I have to retcon and revamp all of them. Ah Travis, I keep drawing him like a glorified janitor. XD Minty mentions he ends up doing a lot of crappy jobs even though he's got a pretty nice rank, and that somehow translated into me always doodling him with a broom. At least Minty doesn't mind me doing goofy things with her babies.

As long as you're making progress, that's what matters! ^^ And I do agree that smaller projects are much more easier to complete rather than major ones. Also, yes, it's tricky building off from your main world to accompany your other stories. But, there's always a solution to things. ^^

Revamping your comic sounds like a plan! It may turn out to be a tedious process, but at least you can reflect on your improvements. ^^

Ah, I believe I started writing stories around that time, too! (Or specifically 6th grade, when it was 2004-2005...) And I also admit that mine weren't serious either. xD I won't be revamping most of them, but I will be rebooting some.

Travis was so lovable, even if he had to face such difficult tasks. And your portrayal of him with a broom is really funny and makes lots of sense. xD It's nice that Minty allows you to do goofy things with her OCs. xD

Oh, sorry to be off-topic, but what are your plans for Christmas? For me, I will just be celebrating with my family. ^^

Right. A lot of my projects have been pushed off recently though, especially now that I have to work on my honors thesis. ^^; I need to make a text based Java game that teaches German. Thankfully I'll be working with some of my characters while I work out the plot and game features.

It'll definitely be tricky, especially a big part of the humor was the way everything was drawn. It ain't easy to recreate some of those perfect facial expressions, and some of the parts of the comics were actual drawing accidents I was too lazy to fix so I just worked it into the panel. Like... misspelling "soap" as "soup" and then I end up drawing that instead... or drawing an arm with one too many pencil strokes and you get, "Even my body feels weird. It's pretty bad when your arm bends twice." as dialog. Oh boy, was I a doof back then. Well, I'm still a doof, but... details... ^^;

My sister was writing various Pokemon based stories way back when, so when she started writing fanfiction I wanted to try it too. Of course I never had any intent on posting it anywhere and just wrote it in notebooks. My first story ever attempted was back from 2001... that was 2nd grade for me. But I'm such a slave to sentiment that I'm revamping EVERYONE, which is precisely why I have so many more characters I need to add. XD Ah well.

I think that comic was the main thing that got me doing ridiculous things to her OCs. I even made it so Nascour specifically gave Travis a steel broom just in case he ever took a swing at him in one of his over-exaggerated fits of rage. XD I've been having the itch to draw some of her characters again, and now that I don't have to worry about finals anymore I actually have some time to do so.

Oh, I dunno actually. Probably just staying at home and keeping it simple. Holidays are usually pretty quiet as normal around here, especially now that Minty's not around. (weeps) Maybe I'll dig out all the old Christmas specials of movies we have in our box of VHSs in the basement. ^^;

Hi, Ana! It's Megg again. ^^

First of all, I want to apologize for the very late response; I had been busy (as well as very sidetracked) since then, but now, I believe I can reply faster than last time. And I will properly excuse myself next time, instead of just leaving you in the dark... ^^;

Anyway, I should probably reply to your last comments! :)

I hope that you're having a great New Year and have progressed a lot since then! :D Your German project seemed really interesting; how's it coming along? Or is it already near completion? Either way, I hope it's going over well. ^^

I hope the comics are going well, too! ^^

Hm... If you were in 2nd grade around 2001... Then there's a possibility that we might be the same age! xD (I'm 23 right now, and my birthday was on January 11th...). But even if my assumption is wrong, I can tell we're close in age! ^^

Oh my gosh, a steel broom for Travis! That is so fitting for him; it's hilarious. xD And it's genius, I must say. :D Ah, and good luck on planning drawings for Minty's characters! ^^

Christmas may already be over, but now, it'll be St. Patrick's Day soon. I won't be doing anything special in particular, but I'll just wear green, just in case. xD Oh, avoid getting pinched on that day, if you're out somewhere!

Alright! I believe that's most of your comments... Feel free to reply whenever you have time! ^^ And don't worry, I'll reply as soon as I can! ^^

Heyo~ And no worries. I've been rather busy too. Semester's been kicking my butt a bit. ^^; So ready for it to be over already, but also so not ready for everything that needs to be done first. (sigh) Oh well.

My projects been coming along rather slowly, but I'm happy with what I have so far. Probably will have to talk with my advisor about adjusting my end goal, because I don't think I can finish a game in two months at the rate I'm going. I'll likely end up doing all the text, planning, and storyboarding along with the technical documents, but the actual game in a finished state probably isn't going to happen by the deadline. ^^;

I turned 22 last month, so yeah, pretty close. :3

I've got a few things sketched out, but man oh man the semester has been killer. I haven't made nearly as much progress on my art stack as I would've liked. DX But school first I guess.

Feels like the year is going slowly, but then you realize it's already March and it feels like it's going too fast. XD Don't really have anything eventful planned for St. Patrick's Day either, other than the usual breaking out of the themed socks for most of the month.

Thanks for getting back to me~ I'm not much of a social person, but the occasional conversation like this really can brighten up my day. And again, no worries about when you reply next. :3

Hello again! ^^

Oh, I'm sorry if your semester has been rough. But do take it easy and take your time with what's going on.

Yeah, finishing a game in two months seems impossible... Hopefully you sort things out with your advisor so that things will be a bit easier for you. Good luck with what you can do, though! ^^

Ah, happy belated birthday, then! :D I hope you had a great day during that time. ^^

Yep, school does come first, then projects come later. But hopefully you can have free time to work on your projects! ^^

Oh my gosh, I know the feeling of the months passing by at a fast rate. xD One day, it's January, and now it's March. Ah, wearing themed socks for St. Patrick's Day seems like a great idea! :3

I'm glad my message had brightened your day! :D And yeah, I understand being not social, although, I admit I'm quite the opposite. xD Taking drama class in college had made me even more social, but I'm glad that happened. xD

Anyway, have a good rest of your day! Reply when you can. ^^
