Yes!! I write short stories with almost all of my OCs, which for the most part all started out because of RPs! But as far as published short stories go, Madiline is the one with the most. She was supposed to just be a RP character, buuut... Well, yeah! She wasn't even supposed to have a name, she was just going to be "Maid 1"

I did this earlier so I was wondering if anybody else does the same. This question especially goes for characters whose primary purpose is for rp or aesthetic.
(For those of you who care, the characters in the short blurb I wrote are Moira and Corona. I just got Moira specifically so I could turn her into Corona's rival. I love the idea.)

i write lots of stuff w/ my OCs (tho i haven't posted much of it here)! ngl back in school whenever we had a creative writing assessment i'd always just use my OCs as characters and i'd always get complimented on how well thought out and realistic my characters were

I'm not much of a writer but I have so many ideas q_q but besides that, I got a few one shots of a number of different ocs xD
My ocs I don't really use for rp; i have ocs for the aesthetic but they don't have anything written for them yet ;; I have to come up with more random scenarios lol
Rather I have one in mind but I gotta figure out how to put it in words x'D
I do that all the time! In the past I have even written stuff about my ocs + other people's ocs with their permission too, although nowadays I try super hard to go with own cast only. I actually don't see any reason why writing short stories for rp characters would be considered weird haha
About two years ago on Tumblr I had an OC rp blog,I stopped when ppl tried to control what I did with my OC. If anything it helps create scenarios when you write stories,I made a drabble on here when Toyhouse introduced the literature section.
I didn't know the literature section wasn't always here. Huh. I only just found it and I'm planning on using it you know, if I ever actually finish a story

I can't draw so I like to make up for it by writing stories for friends with our characters or theirs if they ask for one. I'm even thinking of taking an old RP and kinda editing it to make a story
I wrote some oneshot fics like.... ;; 2 years ago I think?? but only for a select group of ocs. Like others, though, I don't post them because uh lol bad experiences. I do have a ton of ideas, and some artists I've commissioned have suggested I write stories, but it's much easier to headcanon and think about it then actually write them down :'>>
