I find shorter, recognizable usernames are more better at this point and people tend to not call me "Kogami" (despite it being obviously my alias) with my previous usernames so hahah
A question for those of you who have been around on the internet for a long time, what was your go-to username you used on everything before your current one? Ya know the one that you had on DA/FF.net/Wattpad that you made when you were a middle schooler.

When i was between 8 and 12 i used to use a different username for each game, until my mind came with ''VainillaChocolate''. It got shortered to ''VainiChocolate'' when I was 13 (almost 14) because it was too long for twitter. And it has been my username almost everywhere since them. I've been going by ''VainiChocolate'' for almost five years now (Six if ''vainillachocolate'' also counts lol).

XenaXV was my oldest I can remember aside from a few lol randomz-era ones from my time on Roblox but we don't talk about that, named after my first character, a horrible horrible KH fancharacter who I'd say was a Mary Sue if I didn't loathe the term itself with a passion, lmao. ~Garnet~ originated on the Nuzlocke Forums after the protagonist of a never posted and long-since abandoned FireRed Nuzlocke protagonist - The name eventually stuck to become my preferred name, which I hope to have my current one legally changed to in the future! MasterShortpants, the one I'm currently using on TH, is still somewhat in use - Chosen in reference to the nickname for Link given by Scrapper in LoZ:SS. GoddessSword similarly comes from Skyward Sword, in reference to the Goddess Sword and Fi, one of my favorite characters. Aaaaand my current one, PolygonStars, was chosen on a whim trying to find a domain for my art portfolio that wasn't in use but still sounded good - Polygon in reference to the associations of polygons with video games resemblance to the website unintentional, though I am a big McElroy and BDG fan lmao, and Stars cuz it sounded nice with it and because star polygons are a thing :p

catgal720 was my og user and right now I only use it on PSN because I'm too much of a coward to change it to something else. Wall-Eyed Wind Mage came along because when I was 12 my favorite characters of all time were Vaati from Legend of Zelda and Derpy Hooves. Started using Jade Everstone in 2014 when I first made Jade and wanted all of my accs to be under that name. I used LPSjadeeverstone when I used to make lps videos (lol). dumbbatbun was a spurr of the moment name i mostly used bc for a while someone was stalking me on ig and I wanted to duck out. Tateruhzay was super short lived because I wanted it to be my personal acc's name, but it's a refrence to Patapon and at the time I started loosing interest in the series. I mainly use hell_jpeg for my personal accounts now, and everstone_labs was made to replace LPSjadeeverstone once i moved on from lps vids (i use everstone_labs for art toy stuff rn but I'm hanging onto the name because I wanna spin it off into something bigger later)

...All my usernames were Kirby related LOL I think the only one I kinda stopped using was kirbytriad157; it used to be my youtube acc name. I was into pokemon B/W and i kinda liked that shadow triad group at the time so that's the second part of it, and the 157 is... typlhosion's pokedex number lmao (lol since typhlosion was mentioned just a couple comments ago XDDD )
I've been Cliodna since I came on the netscape. I think that for a while I used kuldne_griffin though, as that was my neopets username (and the name of my first pet. I think I misunderstood something and made my first pets' name the same as my account name accidentally, since I'd not spoken good english in these days).
One of the first usernames I remember using when I was a kid was 'rlamb' (don't ask me to explain that)
When I first joined FanFiction back in 2012, I called myself 'Radiant Emblem' (again, don't ask)
And when I first joined ColorsLive in 2013, I was called 'Radiant Firewolf'.
In other words, all my usernames have been and will always be inside jokes. Though I think it's fair to say that I've been using Radiant as a name for most of my online life.
