Edit: im aware that im one of the people who voted yes/was in support but my opinion has changed somewhat and I never really read OP's post properly.
So i had a discussion with a friend about this topic recently and would just be interested in other peoples opinions on it and their reasoning behind them.
In my opinion this sort of thing is not a big deal, minors can have sex so why shouldn't they draw it? And drawing gore seems like no big deal to most people so why should some dicks mentally scar them? Of course they shouldn't be pressured into drawing NSFW and not use themselves as a refrence (would that be considered child pornography?) but having an interest in lewd art is nothing too out-of the ordinary for a teenager. Do you agree/disagree?
Another thing is minors offering NSFW Commissions buuut i'm not sure yet how to feel about that so... yeah. Opinions?
I’m not sure why this got bumped after 2 years but it’s perfectly fine if they don’t show it to anybody like bitch who are they affecting?? I’m 16, and about to be 17 in about 100-ish days and If you seriously don’t think I haven’t gone through puberty, sex Ed, and other shit and don’t think I know what sex is you’re just….. dumb….. I don’t know what in your mind is convincing you children are pure beings of innocence.. we are literally forced to take a class about sex?? What.. ofc I know what sex and porn is….
If they don’t show anybody then why does it matter.. nobody’s gonna know to begin with? What would you rather them do? Damn I don’t know why people think like.. a 16 year old is gonna be innocent in regards of what knowing what sex and porn is? I mean as long as it’s not some weird shit then I guess I don’t rlly care.. but how would I even know if it’s weird to begin with if they don’t show it? Yeah just don’t show it to anybody and there’s no issues..

Uh weird thread to be brought up but I believe they should keep nsfw private to them personally. This is for their own safety because as you know creepy people are out there that can groom children. However I think it’s something that shouldn’t be normalized in children. In teens? Sure maybe? They’re still learning how to grow up. But that doesn’t mean it’s okay to publicly post this stuff. Please be careful if you’re a minor and post nsfw publicly because you will attract creeps.
I’m also a minor, but as other people have said, as long as it’s private and of adult characters I think it’s fine. Making it public can draw in creepy people who can take advantage of the minor posting it so that’s a big no-no. Commissioning and accepting commissions is also really dangerous. Otherwise I think if they simply want to experiment, then it’s alright. Personally I’d prefer waiting before you try drawing that stuff and that’s what I plan on doing (hence why I voted “nay”), but then again many teens already know what sex is. You can’t really stop them from at least doodling it at some point.
Also as AmongTheSleep has said there’s a difference between nsfw and artistic nudity. Nsfw is what I’m referring to here.
