i really dig vincent.. something about it just sounds elegant and cool.
Do you ever just find a name that you just love for some strange reason? A name that just rolls off the tongue and just gives off some really cool vibes? The idea of this thread is simple: just show me names that you really like! Like character names, for example. I feel like it could make for a nice share and perhaps help people find their own names for characters. Anyway, that’s about it! Have fun!

I really really like Prudence. It just sounds so mysterious and powerful. I also really like Desmond and Paul as well.
Hands down my favourite name EVER has always, and probably always will, be Vincent

Vincent was always a favorite, and yes that is because of Final Fantasy 7 that I appreciate the name. Well originally, then yeah just grew on me in general.
And Alice was always another name I loved, funnily enough I would always tell myself in high school that'd be the name I'd pick for myself if I was a gal. Well, I didn't pick it when I realized what was goin on with me. Valentina, another name I adore, is what got me.
I probably have others but those three are big ones. Vincent probably is my favorite one. These days that's all because of that goat lad.

I love spelling common names in different interesting ways, for example, Zikmund (originally Sigmund), Zafira (Sapphire), Ramzi (Ramses), etc.
But there is also a list of names I use repeatedly and also have a weak spot for, especially if they are connected with something important to me,
- Orion / Aurora / Luna / Lunar (I love star/moon/space themed names)
- Helios (It was the name of my first persona back then when I didn't even know what personas were, haha)
- Cornelie (Czech version of the name Cornelia, which is one of the five main protagonist from a kid show W.I.T.C.H)
- Sarah / Sára / Sarra /Sara (I have a weak spot for this name as my dog was called Sára)
- Phobos (my childhood interests projecting again, Phobos is a villain from W.I.T.C.H)
- Lara (I like this name since I first discovered Lara Croft and I always wanted to be name Lara, haha)
- Xavier (ever since I know Professor X)
- Beneath / Beneatha (ever since I read Raisin in the Sun from Lorraine Hansberry)
- Albert (can be shortened to "Albie" and that makes me happy, haha... in Czech also to "Bertík" which is a very cute way to say "Bert".)

Celeste is my favorite name ever!! So much so that I wish I was born with that name, ahah,,, I've made it as my second online name, so that's the closest I'm gonna get, I guess hehe
Other names I like... Mina, Angie, Constance, Lexi, Mimsy, Sabrina, Hunter, Wynter, Kanna, Miyuki, Maki, Hanako, Haruki, and a lot more but it would be too long to list. I gave some of my characters my favorite names and plan on making more just based on the names I like, hehe. I also really love all space-related names, mythology names, and gemstone names!
