I wanted to be a fire fighter, jokes on me I'm afraid of fire. I really do not have a dream job now per say, I just one day want to learn how to be a musician.
( IC glitch oops) Impulsive thread, as far as I know it doesn’t exist yet. I saw someone ask the same question for people’s characters in the character discussion forum, so I thought I’d try it here!
Anyway, what was your dream job when you were a kid? Do you still have that dream job? Are you in that job now?
I used to want to be a scientist when I was around 5, specifically an entomologist. I think I just thought “bugs cool” and wanted to discover new species. I definitely wouldn’t want to be one now, I’m not big-brained enough and I’ve shifted a lot more to art than science. Nowadays I want to be a musician + artist.
I remember wanting to be a doctor just because my parents told me to become one, and I didn’t know I could have a choice😩
I wanted to be an animator, or a veterinarian. (I am scared of needles.) I did study animation for a while, and I briefly worked as an illustrator so I kind of came close to that dream.
I clean houses for disabled people now.
I don't have a dream job anymore. I like my life the way it is.
Paleontologist! Loved dinosaurs, but couldn't name more than four now. I had a little hole in early primary school that I would dig out using sticks in the hopes I would find a dinosaur :3
Later on I wanted to become an Egyptologist! This was prolly due to my fixation on mythology. I found this book in the public library that I recall reading in the mall carpark waiting for my mom to finish shopping. I remember the book was like, "Set cut Osiris's body up and sprinkled him in the Nile. His wife found them all and put him back together again, but a fish ate his weenie so she had to make a new one out of clay.", and I was like :O
Later on I found Rick Riordan's book The Red Pyramid (abt two siblings who are descended from magicians and become sort of possessed by Egyptian gods) and I reread the series VORACIOUSLY. Then I got introduced to Greek & Roman myths through Riordan's other books :D
