sinking back into UTAU BS. I want to record 3 (yes THREE) new Voicebanks for my Boy WavSEED. A gentle/breathy VB (like is current one), a more energetic spunky VB and an Angry VB. I drew brand new design for each appends and rendered fake CD boxes for them and logos and everything... but I have yet to record the voices I feel shy lmao
Despite procrastinating about recording the Voices I wanna get into making cute covers with him, using both Live2d and LipSync to make semi-animated music videos and everything like aaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I have CH4NGE by Giga stuck in my head, and this MMD of Jade Leech won't leave me alone either. I'm usually not a fan of MMD videos, but I really like this one because the models and camerawork are just absolutely amazing.

I LOVE BOTH OF THEM SM,, THE CHARACTERS, THE STORY, THE DEVELOPMENT, THE FIGHTS, THEY'RE EVERYTHING I LOVE IN ANIME!! I'm usually one to kick back and watch a light-hearted slice of life or something like that so it must be weird to say that my favourite animes are action battle shounen... well, MHA is shounen, JJBA is a Seinnen show no matter how you look at it--
Anyway, everyone knows MHA, it's that show with the infamous fandom :D!! Despite that, the show and manga are amazing! I love the artstyle so much, it’s like a great mix of western and eastern comics, and Studio Bone’s adaptation is awesome. The animation is so fluid and beautiful to watch, especially in the key moments like Deku vs Todoroki during the sports festival. Speaking of art,, HAVE YOU SEEN THE VOLUME COVERS (OR JUST GENERAL ART,,,)?? I LOVE HIROKOSHI’S STYLE SM! THE SHADING, THE PERSPECTIVE, THE COMPOSITIONS, I LOVE ALL OF IT SM (SAME GOES FOR ARAKI W/ JJBA)!! Volume 16 of the main series is my favourite because the way Kirishima’s hardening is drawn - all jagged and sharp yk, like a hard rock :000 - and the warm colours of the FatGum Trio contrasting with the bold black borders!
Ahhhhh but the CHARACTERSSSSSS <33 I love pretty much every character in MHA, minus 2 but I'll get to them, they're all so diverse when it comes to design, personality and quirks! Sure, there isn't a diverse range in skintones and religions but even so, the few POC characters we do have are greattttt, Mirko and RockLock my beloved <3 Deku makes for a great protagonist and a nice subversion from the basic self-insert generic protagonist - he shows vunerability and tbh, even if he cries a lot, that's what makes him feel more real compared to other protagonists who are just determined for the sake of being determined and don't show their core emotions. He has great interactions with the different characters and it feels so real when Deku is hanging out with anyone because we've seen him talk to, bond and grow with them... ASIDE FROM BAKUGO-
GOD I FUCKING HATE HIM SM,,, a lot of that hatred does stem from my hatered for BakuDeku but still,, I usually have a soft spot for "loveable assholes" like Rohan Kishibe from JJBA, or Michiru Fukuroi from Pretty Boy Detective Club but Bakugo freally doesn't come under that for me. At least with loveable assholes, theres something redeeming about them that overshadows their flaws like Rohan's curiosity and passion for drawing manga in the hopes of being read - Bakugo is just a really strong ass who wants to be the best hero... I really don't get his appeal, he literally told Deku to kill himself because he wanted to be a hero but didn't have a quirk. He never apologises and I really don't take the "he just can't express his emotions well" argument because he's dead in the wrong half the time. Like, rationally, after the villain attack at the camp and being kidnapped by TLOV, why tf did he fight Deku in the middle of the night? Sure he vented out his feelings but I just feel like there was a better way of him to vent out his feelings than to do that - he got Deku into trouble and for what? AND DEKU STILL BELIEVES IN HIM AND SAYS THEY'RE FRIENDS! BRUV HE TALKS TO YOU LIKE YOU'RE SHIT UNDER HIS SHOE WHYYYYYYYY DO YOU LIKE HIM???!!! THERE WAS SO MUCH TENTION DURING THE TRAINING IN SEASON 2 FOR DEKU TO CALL BAKUGO A BITCH OR SMTH OR JUST PUT HIM IN HIS PLACE BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED!! Bakugo isn't punished enough for me to feel like the manga portrays him as being in the wrong half the time, at least with Neito Monoma, Kendo kicks him in the arm everytime he's annoying 1-A and Mirio calling him one of the downsides to U.A, which makes me like Monoma because his irritating nature isn't "rewarded" or applauded like Bakugo's awful behaviour. Everyone just puts up with it...
And speaking of "putting up with it"... MINETA??? UH- WHY IS HE JUST THERE? ALL HE DOES IS SEXUALISE AND OBJECTIFY ALL THE GIRLS IN 1-A,, MAN IS JUST ANNOYINGGGG,, Like, I can't lie, some of his first few lines were funny but his only personality trait is being scared shitless or pathetic horniness. AND LITERALLY WTF WAS HIS FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH ERI??? HE DEADASS SAID "HI IM MINETA, WOW YOU'RE GONNA BE A LOOKER" LIKE,,, SHE'S A 6 YEAR OLD! WTFFFFFF
Also ngl, when I found out that Bakugo died, I literally laughed instead of feeling sad because I was more humoured by the thought of the fandom breaking down and crying.
Anyway, back to liking things, MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER - PRESENT MIC!!!
He's so cool, lovable, funny and just so great like, he is one of my top characters in anime and everytime I see him I can't help but smile - even my MHA OC Durene was made in inspiration to him and shows my admiration of him as a fan! HE'S SO FUNNNNNNNNN. I have a pop vinyl of him too that sits with my Iida figure :)). His upbeat energy, his hilarious and witty commentary and friendship with Aizawa are justf SDSFGHFDSFG I'LL KEEP REPEATING MYSELF BUT I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT TO SAY OTHER THAN I LOVE HIM!! HE HAS SOME OFF THE GREATEST POSES, DYNAMIC SHOTS AND FACES IN THE SHOW TOO- HES JUST SO AMAZING !! Ahhhh and I can't wait for Season 6 because I wanna see him call Garaki an old piece of shit and beat his ass in anime form so bad hhhhhhh JUST LOOK AT THIS MAN JESUSSSSSSS,, Bones best put their Spine into these scenes DAMN

I just recently got into watching a show I loved as a kid, called Animal Mechanicals >:D
It's a show centred around 5 robot creatures (Rex, Komodo, Sasquatch, Unicorn, and Mouse) going on a mission to a different island every episode to solve a problem happening on that island. Each of them has their own special ability-- Rex is super strong, Komodo has tools in his tail, Sasquatch has super stretchy limbs, Unicorn can fly, and Mouse is super fast-- and in each episode 3 of them use their ability to help solve the problem. When they activate their abilities, they go through a sort of magical girl-esque transformation sequence and it's hella cool 😳
Rewatching the episodes on YouTube has made me remember how much I LOVE the show and how fun all the characters are. Komodo has to be my favourite; he's just a big dork who tries to look cool by doing a bunch of martial arts poses and I love him for it 🥺
He always tries to warn Sasquatch about risky stuff, but Sasquatch goes through with it anyways and ends up falling backwards onto Komodo and knocking him over lmao
Aaaaand now to talk about the reboot. It is fucking AWFUL. The characters don't talk and instead make a bunch of incoherent noises, the designs are god awful, and all of them seem to be really dumbed down, like they're shells of their former selves. Everything seems to move so fast as well. It's mind-numbing.
Also, I just want to mention that the environments they're in are natural ones, whereas the original series had all the islands made out of artificial material. It made sense considering every living creature in the series is mechanical in some way, and it gave room for creativity. The new series? Nah, let's just plop them into environments humans would be in, this is fine. And judging from a couple video thumbnails, some of the episodes had them in WATER. THEY'RE ROBOTS, THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN WATER.
The new show doesn't even follow the plot of the original; it's just the gang getting into various shenanigans with no real plot at all. It's just sterile, mindless schlock for little kids.
Anyways, yeah, watch the original Animal Mechanicals, that shit rocks
