i mostly like obscure rhythm games, like a dance of fire and ice, just shapes and beats, project arrhythmia, taiko no tatsujin, phigros, etc. i used to play osu but i stopped cus it didn't interest me as much anymore lmao. but can i pls have someone who knows these rhythm games other than project sekai/diva LMAOOO

Have megamix on the switch, future tone and project diva x on the Playstation! I tried groove party and deemo but I think i prefer the project diva formula best lmao
tbh i only know of project sekai (colorful stage) and phigros, those two are a banger (didn’t knwo a rhythm game can have lore, bosses and hidden easter eggs)
Rhythm Heaven!
The popularity of Heaven Studio makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Reminds me of the peak of Clone Hero, where people would make crazy charts. I also love making charts; having basically grown up with Siivagunner, my goal is always to make a Heaven Studio chart sound like a High Quality Rip, to the point where I can't hear the original song without the game audio along with it XD
I also love Melatonin (the game). The game is cozy, the songs are a banger, and every Siivagunner rip of the Melatonin OST has been a banger. It's definitely my Passenger Princess on a Road Trip game because I can just throw in my earbuds and vibe. I feel like it's not very well-known, but it's available on the Switch! #notanad
PATAPON!!! but. i never get to finish the 3rd game. there is like this curse where everytime i play the 3rd game emulated on my phone, my phone either breaks and is forced to be factory reset. it has happened around 3 times. due to this i just watched the gameplay. im also excited for ratatan :]
I suck at rhythm games so probably Muse Dash.
Other than that I've liked Taiko (especially the minigames), and the 3DS project diva!
If I had access to one then DanceRush Stardom would probably be up there with Muse Dash...
I've been to a lot of arcades, so I've played a fair amount of Taiko no Tatsujin, DDR, Pump it Up and GITADORA (only the guitar version). Rhythm Heaven is another classic I wish I had gotten into earlier.
Also finally got to try drummania the other day with this version (almost 15 years old!) and I absolutely loved it. It was quite nostalgic and very nice to play. If you're lucky enough to see one of these or similar around, try it out! You won't regret it (⌒▽⌒)☆
