For me, I consider my OCs like precious little dolls in my own dollhouse. In other words, they make me feel young and happy when I make stuff for them using my imagination. They’re all pieces of me; they’re like extended family whenever I’m lonely which is most of the time. Although I’m quite protective of them, sometimes I wish I could do better to show them to others because you never know who they might inspire.
Just a simple, little positive thread! We have several nice threads about other people's creations, so why not create one for your own work?
Here, you can write down anything you like about your OCs-- maybe you're proud of their backstory and design, maybe you have nice memories associated with them, or maybe they're an important source of comfort for you!

I just like to look at them. See all the cool art they have, and making more art for them, which has really improved my skills. I'm not really one to create stories for them and many would probably say that's wrong and 'I'm not using them right' but it's watev. Also just giving me a 'healthy' hobby instead of sitting around all day playing Minecraft. Along with giving me an outlet for when I'm down that is not self-destructive.
Also basically what Robophobic said about trading them. Even though I see on the vent boards about how people don't like that part of the site. I like seeing what people do with them.
I don't know what I am trying to say. Basically, they are mine, and I just like doing what I wanna with them whether or not that is right or not. They just make me feel nice, ya know. Is that not all humanity strives for, feeling nice. I am quite rambly and have no idea what I am talking about. They are a good creative outlet that lets me have fun and do what I want with complete control.
i like to draw them and design them :] i use them more for confort than actual writing but i like to daydream scenarios with them and think about what kind of aventures theyd get in together/how they would act around each other... i rly want to make a real story with them one day even if im scared to share information about them to other people 😔
i just kind of want to focus on eri right now, but i love all my children.
i like her because she lets me practice my stagecraft... singing... acting in front of people. i'm extremely nervous, socially anxious, etc. but i've performed so many times to my group as eri, and it gets easier every time.
also, for the first time i was able to explore polyandry through her and it's amazing... so good... so pure...
they make me happy even though making content has gotten harder for me.
I can always just browse my horde and enjoy what I've already done or commissioned ! And seeing the gifts others have given me is super comforting too ~
