Also it's fine about Promptis!! I just love my queer ships and my favorite ships are based on really close friendship and being unafraid to be a little touchy-feely (all relationships should start with being good or best friends, imho).

Honestly my ships are nebulous at best, as long as it's not Gross in some way I'll pretty much consider anything. That being said, just about any mix of chocobro shippng is Good, I just particularly favor Promptis because their relationship is just so beautiful and supportive, and it's obvious they clicked fast and really care about the others wellbeing in a very positive way. If they like smooching and holding hands, or at least (secretly?) want to, I'm down for that. I'm also becoming a fan of one-sided Iggy->Noct, Iggy's sacrificed so much through his life and honestly should at least low-key hate the prince but he definitely cares for him so deeply and Forbidden Love is also painfully delicious. I'm mostly fine with Noct/Luna, just ... honestly not in a sexual way at all? The game said that it's been 12 years since they last saw each other and honestly if their relationship was based on longing to see each other since they were 8 and 13 respectively it's kind of...? Even romantically is a little questionable. I was mildly thrown off by the smooch at the end, tbh. Other ships I enjoy in various degrees of seriousness and silliness mixed in include: Prom/Luna, Prom/Cindy, Prom/Aranea, Noct/Iris, Luna/Gentiana, and my crack starcrossed-lovers-reincarnations ship: Biggs/Wedge. (Honestly most of the Prom ones are super one-sided, just imagine the goofball trying to court any of them, it makes me smile thinking about it) The OT4 is also good, the boys have such deep love for each other and the Romantic Banter that shows up at Galdin Quay and Altissia is so great, it's so refreshing to see a group of male characters to be so close and not be all "No Homo". Honestly you could sit me down with any pair and say 'this is why i love it' and I'd probably buy a ticket and come on board. XD Also I didn't get the dialogue but apparently during Cure for Insomnia, Glados talks about how he's in a pretty serious relationship with his girlfriend. Gah, if it wasn't coming on 3am when I got to that point I would've explored the area more.

Also I didn't get a campfire fail at any point? Was it only Chapter 10? Yeah, agreed, that whole area was so heavy but the "Hey I took more pictures, do you want to see?" "No...not really" was such a gut-punch. Poor Prom was the glue on the guys for that entire chapter. 10 and 13 do such a good and painful job of being really alienating compared to the rest of the game, holy cow.

Re: Ardyn That is so creepy asdfg;; This is why I don't like leaving characters waiting for me outside of their normal resting spots, my SO left Iris waiting for a while and I felt bad for her, but I can't believe there wasn't a check for Ardyn being pseudo in the party to make him do that (not that it wasn't completely in character, honestly;;)

Pepper, ahh I get every ship; Noctis reminds me of Yuichiro (From Seraph of the End) in the case that he can be shipped with most anyone and it WORKS. I'm just very much like the conan stuff in the game, so I don't ship anyone for that reason. Though, I very much like the Cindy/Prompto ;;v;; I hope there is more dlc that makes it real (she not much older then him anyways), (not a real spoiler, but I hid it anyways) because that camp extra where you can get them to take a picture together is super cute ;;v;;

Side note, am I the only one that finds the start of Chapter 10 to be one of my favorite moments. I read people started disliking Gladio afterwards, but I liked him more for it? I find it a very well writen scene, and the train walk afterwards and reading the newspaper laying around, it somehow brought me into the mess of feelings going around before the start of the dungeon.

I think the overall build up after Luna dies is more heartbreaking than her death itself. Like, you got the whole group broken up. Ingis feels unneed and holds strong to not say anything until Gladio gets on his nerves. Prompto seems to understand how everyone is feeling, but don't know how to talk to everyone to help them feel better. We all know of Noctis and Gladio felt, they were fairly voical.

I do also agree on the car thing through, the scene was more personal than the Luna scene.

I already stated my feelings on Ch10 and Gladio before (mind you I don't hate him, but his short fuse is frustrating), but yeah Cindy/Prompto's cute. In chapter 13 there's a throwaway line somewhere that said he spent a lot of time trying to court Cindy but she wouldn't have it, too married to her work. Aranea's supposedly doing her own thing too, so I think other than Gladio, everyone 'important' is single. Also Aranea is 10 years older than Prom and Noct so it's kinda like *hums to self*. I wish we got to see kickass Iris. She was adorable and I would've loved to have seen her strong and brave like her brother.  Prom meeting Luna would've been amazing, She inspired him so much, and they would've bonded over stories of Noct. She'd give little deets about his childhood, he'd talk about him in high school, he'd be dying in the corner like "stoooopppp". I'd've loved it.

Luna's okay in my book, mostly. I think they showed it in other media beforehand, but that one scene in Ch9 where Luna had all the guns pointed at her and she just stands up and shoves one away was great. She won me over there. And where she shoves her trident in Levi's mouth!? Awesome. Also I feel like she's a good Namine, both in design and what characterization I managed to see of her, but it's honestly not all that hard for me to like someone more than Namine haha;; Like she gets stuff done without being obnoxiously shy or bullied about it, pulls plenty of strings. She's pretty good, but still completely outclassed by Iris, Cindy, and especially Aranea.

o|-< I actually never saw Kingsglaive or Brotherhood, I only read about them. I actually couldn't care less about 15/Vs13 while it was getting hyped and trailered, and I didn't get into it until i watched my SO and Limes from Vinesauce stream it, in which I was like "oh I like this a lot". I still need to catch up on the outside materials officially. I've been hearing a lot of "You'd know this if you watched them" from my SO (I just got one now as I'm typing this;;; apparently there's a differece between Kingsglaive and Crownsguard; looks at postgame unlock and sighs confusedly). One day.

Re: the Regalia. My favorite post on GameFAQs I saw after I beat the game was something like: "She's with you the whole time, supports the boys no matter where they are, and dies for them to make sure they're safe. RIP Favorite girl." took a few posts for some people to realize what the OP meant by any of it. Clever. There was a later comment like "And four guys got to ride her at once" and it's true. It's all true.

Oh man does anyone else think the Regalia was tampered with in the beginning? From the Platinum demo, it's said that the Regalia was Noct's favorite place, because that's where he spent most of the time with his dad. For it to break down in such a short distance between Insomnia and Hammerhead (that's what, 6 in-game miles?) for such an important car that's 20+ years old and in such beautiful shape seems kind of suspicious.

You can also see the Regalia behind Regis when he he's holding bby Noct in the Dawn trailer too. It's probably more correct that it's at least 15 years old, but my point stands.

I initially thought _____Ardyn_____ did it, but that actually doesn't make much sense in the context of the fact that he was so helpful throughout the game? It doesn't make sense for the motivations he had, to stop or slow down Noct from continuing on, unless he needed time to setup. Otherwise I'd assume it was the guy who pretended to be a guard or glaive or whatever, I don't recall his name, but he was a big name in the Niffs.I dunno! It's just so suspicious!!

Kingsglaive is worth watching for the AMAZING artwork and animation alone, though I enjoy the movie as a whole. Which reminds me I need to bring it for a coworker to watch (though we sell it at store, it's 15USD, I should make he buy it...)

Now, I played through the game twice, and they mention (near the beginning) that there was something in the car that his dad left for him, but I don't ever recall what that something was (but maybe that's because everyone is sidetracked by the attack and all). Refresh my member on what it was or if they ever got it??? But, it's very possible for it to be tampered with, but the for sure reason is unknown. It would have to be someone from within the Crownsgaurd, as no one from Niflheim was in the movie... Well unless you seen kingsglaive, there was ONE person close to the king that was working for the Empire, but I won't get into that much due to not everyone has seen it here. Also, Luna ended up in Insomnia right after Noctis left, so the car having problems also keeps him out of the city during the attack.

Or we can think that Noctis forgot to get the oil changed because he said he could take care of it on his own or something stupid, or we can think Prompto crash it? Noctis and Prompto (as mentioned throughout the game) are not the best drivers around... I like to think the funnier of options in the long run anyways XD

kokohearts, you can later race her with a chocobo too. She the last race in the game c: (currently at least, maybe we will get more of those)

On the chocobo topic, anyone else do the two side quests dealing with the Black Chocobos? I really like the camp one with Ingis OMG

I'm 99% positive the present from Regis was the sets of kingsglaive clothes you get in Chapter 13. I think there's a comment that's made about it. I'd assume they had Cid hold onto them before heading out to Altissia or something otherwise they honestly shouldn't have had them at all.

And yeah, whoever that guy was, i think he's the only guy other than Ardyn that could've done it. Ardyn's technically a Niff, though, isn't he? Power-wise. And I know he met Regis in the movie. The entire setup to marry Luna was by him too. Maybe it was Ardyn, wasn't Luna's escape from Insomnia somewhat orchestrated by him as well?

Didn't the Regalia break down? I don't remember seeing any damage and I think the hood was smoking.

I agree on that point with the Regalia, their is many reasons why they decided to slow him down, even if only just a bit.
