Caved in and ordered volumes 1 to 5 of Shounen Note from Spain because tfw no English edition and the Spanish edition is seriously GORGEOUS + small shipping fees because Europe. I hate myself for the fact I need to buy things to motivate to me to live and do my basic things but honestly at this point I take anything I can to motivate me and fight this burnout

I feel so unprepared for this contract I just had to google what terminal my ship will be docking at and I keep feeling like I've forgotten to pack something otl.
I have a feeling I am actually more prepared than I think I am but because I didn't get any the documents I was supposed to be sent when my start date was brought forward it probably feels more of an unorganized mess than it actually is.
I'll be happier when I'm signed on and have the first induction out the way.

@LitaRutherford I'm so glad it's not just me! I'm so used to it being there now I don't notice it anymore unless I'm glancing down and catch it out the corner of my eye.
Really loving the ship I'm currently working on. I kinda want to stay with the sister cruise line now and I'm only 3 days into this contract.
Also I was sat on the threshold of the pool (typically raised 3 feet or so platforms on ships because the sea can make the pools into wave pools) except the Atlantic is so lumpy today the water went over the threshold and soaked me right before a full crew drill. :L At least it was obvious I had been attacked by swimming pool water and luckily I'd dried off by the time I walked down from my work area to my cabin to my muster station which is a long walk of you can't use the crew lifts (my cabin and work area are at opposite ends of the ship so I have to walk down/up a lot of stairs).
