Another fandom focused thread since I figured it's probably a series nostalgic enough to get people talking & I get the feeling there are people out there whose OC interest / character design hobby started from making their own digimon and whatnot!

You're free to talk about whatever honestly and talk with other people freely, but here are some stuff you can reply with if you need some sort of guideline for starters:

- How did you get into the series?

- Your favourite memories about it?

- Favourite digimons?

- Did the series influence your art/character creation/characters in any way?

- Do you remember the early 00s when Digimon was a big mainstream thing? Any particular memories about that time if this applies to you?

This is not a thread where to discuss whether Digimon is better or worse than Pokemon or any other similar concept series! It's alright to have a preference but let's not bring other fandoms here, alright?

NOSTALGIA TIME-

- How did you get into the series? I honestly don't remember. I think when I was pretty young they were playing an episode of 'digimon fusion' or whatever it was called, and then years later, when it had stopped airing and no-one liked it, I started watching the original anime. I never actually finished the last parts of it, but I liked it a lot :)

I got to the part where the original hero's adventure ended, and past the part where they came back a second time, but I never finished the part where it's the future and that one kid makes his own digimon (can't remember the name) but it was like a red dinosaur? and also it was an idiot :)

- Your favourite memories about it? I used to watch it during the school year, so after school I would run to the tv, grab a snack and chocolate milk, and watch digimon. It brings me nostalgia tbh :)

- Favourite anime/games?

uhhhhh I never had any of the games since I got my first DS like 2-3 years after my digimon phase, so I'd say I liked the original anime the best

- Favourite digimons? Gatomon (idk if that's the right name but the cat one ;w;)

- Did the series influence your art/character creation/characters in any way? yes! Digimon, Pokemon, anime in general influenced my style quite a bit, and was the whole reason I wanted to draw! ^w^

- Do you remember the early 00s when Digimon was a big mainstream thing? Any particular memories about that time if this applies to you?

nope. I was never popular and didn't have many friends, so even if it was popular with the kids I went to school with I wouldn't know :(

I cannot help myself. Suprised I didn't see this sooner.

- How did you get into the series?

Fox Kids when Digimon Adventure first came out. I still have some of the comic books they released of the first few episodes.

- Your favorite memories about it?

I remember having a birthday party where I got a Omnimon figure. Plus when I went to the Digimon Movie in Theaters.

- Favourite anime/games?

I would say Adventure and 02, Tamers and Data Squad.

- Favourite digimons?

Arukenimon and Mummymon, Black Wargreymon. A lot of Digimon from 02.

- Did the series influence your art/character creation/characters in any way?

Well I do like seeing my characters as Tamers.

- Do you remember the early 00s when Digimon was a big mainstream thing? Any particular memories about that time if this applies to you?

Yes, when it first aired on Fox Kids. I remember the Flash Games on PC I would always play. Digimon World 1-3 on PSX was so much fun.

- How did you get into the series? > The first time i remember my older brother was watching the movie Hurricane Touchdown where Willis and Terriermon were sitting inside the truck, that's the first time i discover Digimon.

- Your favourite memories about it? > The whole classic series, i really love the song Butter-Fly. And it breaks my heart a lot when i heard Kouji Wada gone ;-;

- Favourite anime/games? > The classic of course! Agumon and friends and always been my favorite ^^

- Favourite digimons? > Gabumon! Although after i play Digimon Re:Arise, i also love both Mastemon and Zhuqiaomon.

- Did the series influence your art/character creation/characters in any way? > Yes! Digimon will always be part of my life no matter what happen <3 I also have a main OC used in my front page, his name is Yui, and he's a next generation OC of Digimon characters :D

- Do you remember the early 00s when Digimon was a big mainstream thing? Any particular memories about that time if this applies to you? > Sadly in my country, there isn't much technology to discover Digimon until 2005. I was only 4 or 7 that time so yeah, so young ;v;

Aside from the questions, i had played few games about Digimon <3 Gotta say the games are amazing!
