+1 this would be really helpful with organizing as well as other things ;; Not sure why it isn't a thing.
I know *technically* you can just make another full tab for the character but,, I have some characters where they're not different at all and so I don't feel like I need an entire new tab just to add them to another folder, but also feel weird not having them in the other folder(s) they apply to. Can there be an option added to just add a character to multiple folders?? I can't find a way to organize them where I can avoid having them apply for multiple folders.
Edit August 19, 2023: I also thought about it, maybe there could be like- a mode or something for this to work, like a "characters" and "universes" without requiring a world? Idk the world just feels like.. too much in some cases? And I know tags exist, but I use them myself to organize characters by things like gender and sexuality- I don't wanna clutter up the tags with species and stuff, so maybe 2 types of tags would fix the problem?
I'm iffy on this. I feel like this'd make it annoying and confusing to navigate through others' characters and that tags (which, tags aren't used enough, and deserve more function (like tag blocking)) and split tabs work plenty well enough

i sort my characters by story so this would make it so much easier to establish spinoffs of specific characters
+1 more customization is good imo. Sure you can use tags, but different people have different organization systems.
+1, I wanted to organise my characters where my main character folder is the default folder and all my characters appear, but also in the sub-folders they're sorted into. I know I can use 'All' but I have some 'characters' such as my commission info, ToS, adopts, etc, that I don't want to appear in my default tab. Currently it works out that they aren't in my Characters tab so they're nice and hidden by default, but the default folder is blank and users need to go to sub-folders to see any characters haha. Would love to be able to sort all my OC's into my 'Characters' folder as well as their species folder. :)
+1! I'm surprised its not a feature yet! I mean, i have some sonas that i wanna redesign so they're in a redesigning folder but they're also sonas.
