Dainties aren't a unique concept design-wise, so you should be fine making your own character with similar aesthetics.
Okay so I've noticed that theres a closed species called dainties or something- literally just a humanoid with socks.
Do I have to have a MYO to make a humanoid with specific socks or is that just not allowed
Closed species don't own ideas, so you wouldn't be wrong to make characters with similar traits? But if you are claiming that the character is a Genuine Dainty then you would be in the wrong.
That would be a fawn or satyr, and totally not exclusive to dainties. I think it's fine as long as you dont claim it is a dainty, which has already been stated here.
I myself have a satyr lad that's a tattoo artist and has tattoos all on his goat legs so I think youd be fine making one with socks or what have you.
I own both dainties and a satyr that just happens to wear socks, and I can definitely say that, as long as you aren't a twat about it and don't bring attention to it you will be fine. Just vibe man, people only really get upset if you're obviously ripping off the dainty lore and whatnot and being on the nose about it
