I have multiple, and really really like bug OCs so yee, this tread is nice, I'll definitely be looking at what other people put here!!
I'm a bit hyper on the topic atm, so I'll just be rambling/monologuing here. Feel free to ignore and just take a look at the character profiles! :)

IC is a warrior in a rpg game alike setting, a character that at first seems to be extremely righteous, loyal and as perfect as you wold expect as his position, but with progression on the story you get to see he go more moral gray to achieve his goals. I also want to make little one of things that work like a alternative pat/storyline or extra content in a game were you get a short story focused on one of the characters, this character wold be one of them, on his estra storyline you get to see what actually goes behind the mask of perfect prince and what led to some of his decisions in main story.
https://toyhou.se/8410925.morte This character is like a reaper, and they are not really a spider, but are inspired by them, theor head has horns that alude to spider legs and they use cloth that is made of a underwordian silk that is supposed to look alike to spider webs and if you look at the scythe, the place where the base conecta with the blade is basically a spider in a weird form (and the lamp that the scythe turns into has the holders thingies shaped like spider legs as well). And the red fluff is a shut out to those spider that have that fir that they can eject and stuff.
They are aways tired because of their exaustive job, but are still kind enought to the souls that they go to collect.
https://toyhou.se/10505831.pietro , Pietro my man, I love love love beatles and think hercules beatles (I'm not sure about the eglish name for them, but if you search that they'll likely show up anyway) are one of the coolest! This dude lives in a world were youkai, magical creatures and humans live in harmony, but humans don't really know about youkai and magical creatures, or at least most don't even think they're real and think they're just myth and fantasy, and the things that they cause are usually just thought of as something natural that science has just not figured out yet, just like it goes on our world, except they are totally real. (Yeah, shamelessly heavily inspired by kid targeted anime plots).
Beatles are all magical creatures that act as usual insects around humans to avoid being discovered. With industrial era, the best way to live was like this, to hide :'/ .
And this fine gentleman is one of them :D . If you go on his profile there's a pic of him with a boy. The boy was chosen by the magical council to help take care of maintaining the order between youkais, magicals and humans. And the beatle, being a powerful magical with vast knowledge about the humans, was chosen to assist the boy. And this they formed an alliance and do their stuff, yeas, again, shameless extremely clichê anime plot.

Cockroachs make me a bit uncomfortable, some bugs as well, except that and being annoyed at the noise mosquitoes make i don't have much against any insect I can think of, so yeah, sorry, not a cockroach fan 😔.
But yeah, they cute, they kind, thinking bout making them be a woman, but who knows, maybe they be nonbinary, maybe in a day I'll change my mind completely and they'll be a man or don't even have a gender, who knows.
They live in Air Kingdom, basically a city in the skies, it's called a kingdom for now, but I've not yet decided the gender of their loser as well, so may change to queendom or monarchy or something. I like to imagine it as something between ATLA's air temple and Ghibli's Nausicaa.

I'm thinking of giving her some tatoos, wold look so good in her, not sure we're tho, thinking about the arms or the back, maybe something smaller on the side or back of the neck, maybe all of those, don't know. But yeah, she is a mantis :)))
I used to have an actual spider OC in the past, she was a kind old lady who loved adventure, dark and warm places and liked to crochet stuff for her friends. Gives away the design, but thinking about creating a new design for the same character idea (only thing of the og design that matches this description was that it was a spider, don't worry)
