You know the character. The one with the really complex design that you love but just can't mimic easily! There's just something or multiple things in their design that makes it very difficult to draw them! Who is that character for you?

I love doing complicated designs but this girl is just hovering somewhere between.
Her ombre wavy hair with 3 gradient colors, the brass goggle (I suck at drawing metal), the double cogs on her hat, and her palette in general....I just could never get those brown shades right.
I always get their heads wrong for some reason :/ and i can't remember which way Phobos or Deimos' edges directs to :')
I struggle with any designs that are even slightly too complex, but this guy? I love him so darn much but I can barley draw him because of his strange horn shapes and all those little swirls and marks in specific places ajdjfkgk
His face is hard to get right for some reason. Francis has a slim, oval face, with a jaw that isn’t too defined and getting that across in my semi-realistic style is often a very fine line between styalization and glaring anatomy error.
I often end up crossing over into anatomy error territory and need to redraw his face a few times to get it right.
Half of it is probably my perfectionist issues nitpicking tbh because I’m used to drawing more realistically and my attempts at styalization tend to stand out to me as anatomy errors.
Edit: his uniform is also a pain (as much as I love to look at 1800’s RN uniforms it does verge on what I consider complicated). I’ve only recently figured out how to simplify it though I couldn’t simplify it a whole lot without loosing historical accuracy. I also have trouble visualising how the cravats work.
