Your Daily OC Question! (Updated 10/29)

Not to be confused with my OC question of the day or Papes' OC question of the day! Or my other Shindan thread!

Running an OC question of the day thread is rough because you always want to answer your own questions, but by the time you have the time it's been a week and you have a bunch of other questions! Not to mention that your questions always have to be pretty general: "what's your OCs' favorite colors" is easy enough for someone with 10 OCs, but there are loads of people who have OCs in the triple digits and beyond!

But y'know what's awesome? Shindan is awesome. I spent last night working on a bunch of options and whipped up a Shindan that will ask you a question to a specific OC every day!

Here's how it works! You plug in your username, and you'll be given an OC and a question! Here's an example of what the results look like:

You can answer your questions privately, on an OC blog, wherever you'd like! It'd be rad if you posted your results here, though, so we can all learn about your OCs! Some other notes:

Please let me know if you find any typos or other errors! There are over 500 items in [LIST1] and over 200 in [LIST2] as of posting and I finished this at 3:30 in the morning, so... needless to say, I didn't do much proofreading.
Don't like your question, aren't comfortable with it, just want to answer more questions, or can't answer it because one or both items don't apply to any of your OCs? Tweak the name you enter to get a new one! Change the capitalization, use some nicknames, add some numbers... Shindan will consider them all new names that you can use daily!
Many questions suggest a modern Earth setting, asking about things like the Internet, video games, cars, etc. Just answer them as thought your character existed in such a setting, like what kind of TV shows WOULD they watch if TV existed in their universe? Likewise, if you get a question like "what was your youngest OC like as a kid?," you can reverse it and answer what they'd be like as an adult and vice versa.
The questions vary a lot. Some are comedic, some are serious, some are kind of bummers, some can be answered in one word, and some require a bit of thought. If you got a really short/easy question and you're not satisfied, you're always welcome to try out a different name and go again! The initial batch of items allows for 115,486 different combinations, so you probably won't run out too fast.
If either item seems ambiguous, feel free to answer it in multiple ways or however you first interpreted it. Likewise, if LIST1 applies to multiple OCs of yours, you can answer for every OC that applies to or just pick one of them.
There are no questions involving sexual content, but there are some questions that involve alcohol and violence.
If any of your answers involve detailed violence/gore, abuse, sexual content, etc., put it under a spoiler tag! Basically just spoiler tag anything you'd spoiler tag in other threads.
I'll try to add more items to each list as time goes on! I like to make them relatively unique/interesting and make them things you wouldn't think about (c'mon, did you know which OC was most broken up about the Pluto debacle before this? or what their favorite kind of noodle was?), but I'm open to suggestions! Just note that unlike the OC question of the day thread, I can't really credit you for your additions!

Q: How willing are they to admit when they're wrong about something?

I... have a habit of making un-trusting or overly trusting characters with little in between (oops), but Sebastian is among the least trusting.

Having grown up in court among other nobles with highly strict and family image-centric parents, Seb has become very closed off and distant. As of right now, the only person he really trusts would be his younger brother. Aside from that, there is at least a little distrust with everyone and he has a hard time getting close to and opening up to others.

Well, that's hard to say...I would say snacks though. Ereshkigal is often eating small snacks, like chips.

Only one character of mine that's up plays an instrument currently! Though I can imagine Solis calling from the background "Hey! I can play kazoo!" and Aeran screaming back "That doesn't count!" XD Aeran hates formal wear! She would rather wear clothing that's looser because it flows in the wind she generates.

This is Colin 100%. He often sketches in a notepad that he carries around with him (usually with soft graphite pencils) but never makes any 'completed' artwork. He doesn't think of himself as an artist.

His favourite kind of noodles are chicken noodles, he hates any other flavour. XD

"Not quite...the way you expect it to be. Sure, I do have six packs...but they're not muscles. They're piece of my metallic 'reinforce internal structure' that was molded into that shape. Outwardly, I do look like I'm 'in shape' but am I really? And about athleticism...one guy I do know who definitely qualifies for that is Chilo. If being 'athletic' means I need to run around as much as he does...then no."

Q: How do they feel about their body?

Jaire kind of had a rough upbringing and got picked on quite a bit. A lot of this just went to his head and made him really insecure about pretty much everything, so for the most part he doesn't exactly love his body. He's really small and thin and he felt like this made him more of an easy target for bullies which isn't necessarily true. He's kind of slowly starting to grow more accepting towards the way he is now that he's in a better place in his life, but he still deals with a lot of insecurities and kind of has a love/hate relationship with his body.

Lindy is the type to give others the benefit of the doubt. She is upfront wth her trust, so a betrayal would injure her. However, she's also the type to confront the traitor, and exact consequences- whether that be forgiveness, revenge, or parting ways.

Peter loves the cold the most, as Winter is his favorite season, Christmas is his favorite holiday, and he just loves the snow in general!

Peter actually really enjoys teaching things to others, especially when it comes to pop-culture. Ohhhhh boy! He goes so far as to express his belief that he will be able to teach pop-culture in a school. Yes. A school. He hopes it becomes an actual class because he loves it that much. Trust me, he knows how to put such knowledge to good use. Aside from that, he doesn't mind teaching anything else he may need to teach, as he enjoys helping others.

Q: How good are they at solving puzzles?

The most indecisive OC I have is Tristan, and even then, he has made quite a few clear decisions, so... heh XD

When Tristan is given a puzzle, he usually takes a while to solve it. In his mind, he is thinking of how to go about solving the puzzle before making a fool of himself. He rarely gets the chance to think like this otherwise, so he genuinely likes puzzles... well, most of them.

Q: How willing are they to change their opinions?

I remember getting another question for my snarkiest OC! This would be the second time Dust is mentioned as the snarkiest of my OCs XD

Also I had to alter this one because the question I got the first time didn't apply to any of my OCs XD

In the case of changing opinions, it really depends on the subject in question and the person who either causes him to change his opinion or leaves said opinion unchanged. He is dead set on never changing some opinions, for example, his opinion on song-and-dance numbers and basements hasn't changed to this day. However, at least his opinion on the afterlife not existing changed when he became a ghost.

Sun is my newest OC!

The thing is, Sun doesn't live in a modern world. He lives in a fantasy medieval-esque world. The closest thing to slang he has heard is the word "bro", said by his sister. He gets mildly annoyed by it.

"Usually there are not many people I'd care enough to that point. Whatever, I guess you know how I always love my Mom...not only because she's my mother figure, she's also one heck of resilient woman. I don't know what it'd be like if they assigned other women to serve as Sevmash-born androids' mother figure but I'm super proud to have her as my mom. Petya, despite started serving in the same fleet roughly a decade after me, is also a resilient guy. After what happened in the year 2000 he certainly has my admiration. Lastly, most people probably forget about him but I still recalled how I admired Commander Kirov, Petya's eldest brother, when he was still active in the fleet. In conclusion...people who can calmly face serious problems and can bounce back from tragedies and hardship?"
