Running an OC question of the day thread is rough because you always want to answer your own questions, but by the time you have the time it's been a week and you have a bunch of other questions! Not to mention that your questions always have to be pretty general: "what's your OCs' favorite colors" is easy enough for someone with 10 OCs, but there are loads of people who have OCs in the triple digits and beyond!
But y'know what's awesome? Shindan is awesome. I spent last night working on a bunch of options and whipped up a Shindan that will ask you a question to a specific OC every day!

Whenever Skye is in a bad mood (which is VERY rare, she's usually super positive and happy) the main thing she wants is a hug. A hug from her bestie Diego, some reassuring words, and maybe some new stickers would make her the happiest girl in the world!

Keys, in a heartbeat. He likes fashion and takes a lot of care in making sure he looks his best all the time.
Q: How much do they care about how others perceive them?
Despite him always wanting to look the best he can, he actually doesn't care a lot about what people think about him, unless it's someone he deeply cares about. He is very independent and confident, so he typically just acts and looks the way he wants to and doesn't care if people don't like it.

The OC I last thought about is a trio of siblings that not only they haven't gotten uploaded on TH yet, they're still unconcreted concept floating in my head. = __=);;; So... I'll go with Tomsk instead cuz before thinking of those three, I played a game where there is his RL counterpart in the game (the actual Oscar II/Antey submarine - it's a warship game) and... I like to use Tomsk as a substituted representative of that submarine in my brain.
Q: Do they prefer smooth peanut butter or chunky peanut butter?
*makes a weird chewing movement to try gauging the possible answer*
"Errr... peanut butter... I don't think I'd know the difference? Peanut butter isn't something regularly served in Russian meals, let alone in military canteen! Is it like ordinary animal fat butter but with peanut scent? I can construct a faux sensation data of eating it based on that... so I guess the 'smooth' one is down. The chunky version, though. Is it... like the tiny bits in chocolate chips ice cream? Uh... small crunchy bits in non-solid substance with creamy peanut scent... I hope I get the correct impression. I feel like Nori doesn't like dining in due to all the people, but he's alright with it. He tends to stay home and has maids cooking for him though, but I feel like from all my OCs currently in TH, Nori fits this the most.
Q: How would they react if they were stuck outside for an entire day?
He's not new to that experience. Being someone in the entertainment industry, he's aware that schedules are a mess so he wouldn't be be surprised if he was to suddenly be put on hold for something currently on going. He relies on his phone for entertainment so he'd likely be on it a lot if he's not stuck because of a prolonged project or a shooting session and stuff.

My brain went "Akira" right away! He has brain issues very similar (identical) to mine, and I have a terrible memory as a result of my TBI, so of course I've given him that symptom too.
Q: Are there things they do when they're alone they'd never do around others?
He is very private about things that excite him or interest him. He will sometimes talk to himself about his interests, but would never do that in front of another person, or tell someone else about the things he likes. It's too embarrassing to get going talking and then receive blank stares in response. He also doesn't stim in front of other people if he can help it.

Q: How do they feel about cuddling?
They're not fond of physical contact between humanoids, whether it's skin to skin or such. Cuddling is definitely something they're uncomfortable with though if someone was to cuddle around them they wouldn't bother and don't really feel a thing about it.

That would be Zoe. She's very shy and quiet, her sister Chloe is loud and bubbly, her mom is sort-of strict and always on time and punctual and practical, and her dad is carefree and relaxed and often is late to things.
Q: How forgiving are they? Do they hold grudges?
Zoe has had traumatic experiences involving others that she hasn't really forgiven people for, so she's more of a grudge-holder than a forgiver, even if it's something small (like, let's say she wanted the last pancake and her sister ate it when she had already told everybody she was going to eat it. Then she might be upset for a bit.)

Tough call on this one! My ocs tend to either have ONE signature outfit, or a whole universe in their closet to choose from! I decided that Dejan having a closet stuffed full of different outfits would make sense in-universe for him.
Q: How do they feel about the Internet?
Mixed feelings! On one hand: an excellent resource for all sorts of amazing things. On the other, a terrible timesink. Full of cool talented people! Also full of plenty of awful trolls. Bottom line, he limits the time he spends online--because he is the type to get caught in a time trap, googling one innocuous thing and emerging 20 hours later from a thousand Wikipedia tabs. It is vital to his work, though, so he does have to maintain some kind of presence, but he spends no more than an hour a day on online work, and then no more than 2 hours on miscellaneous fun stuff.

From my current TH lineup, I think it'd be Miki. She snacks a lot in general and doesn't really like fruits or vegetables to balance her diet compared to sweets and fast food.
Q: What would it take for them to punch someone in the face?
A lot. Miki tends not to resolve to violence, or slander others. She often keeps her cool, laughing away things that hurt her, just because she feels that she doesn't need to fall too low to become like the people she dislike or fall for their petty schemes and give into her emotion. She doesn't get upset or burst out much. Her main method of venting is complaining in social media, and even as a magical girl she wouldn't want to hurt others just because she feels bad if her opponent had a weak body or something.

"Well, hmmm... bar soap works just fine? Liquid soap seems a bit fancy-ish for my taste. And besides... bar soap poses a less hazard in travel bag? Imagine the bottle of liquid soap leaks. Bar soap can't do that, can it?" *smiles*

I think that'd be Aurora. She does farm, and she teaches people to farm now and then, so I think it would be logical if she was the best with plants from my current TH line up.
Q: What do they smell like?
I like to think that Aurora smells a little like earth - a homey scent of damp soil after a light drizzle.
In verse, it would make sense since she tends to her gardens a lot (she doesn't like using magic to manage it).
Hey there, Andy! This question is for the OC who's the best at punching people in the face.
Oh my god lol?? This is a tough choice because I think if he committed to it, Ezra would win in terms of brute strength and natural ability, but he's passive and doesn't like hurting people. Julian is trained in combat, but it's mostly with weaponry and he doesn't really use his skills in actual fights very often, if at all. I guess Emet, who has plenty of aggression to go around and channels it into hand-to-hand fighting for a stint, would be best at "punching people in the face". (Wow don't look at my outdated profiles?)
Q: Do they prefer white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate?
The absolute whiplash of this question-- Emet would "prefer" high percentage dark chocolate, because he associates it with wealth and decadence and he's kind of a snob like that. However, I could also see him eating milk chocolate as a guilty pleasure lol. :^) (I think he would find white chocolate, "which is not even chocolate", revolting.)
