Hello hello! I've been on a roll for making Pokémon AUs of character today and I thought I'd bring it to the forums! How this work is I will be assigning your IC a Pokémon NOT THAT THEY WOULD USE, but one they would be if they were turned into a Pokémon. Think of it like the Pokémon mystery dungeon games. Normally I don't ask for things in return for these posts, but due to the extended amount of effort I go through to make these AUs (checking both dex entries, design, type, and evolution line), plus the large amount of people who are into Pokemon, to prevent flooding and having to close the thread every 5 seconds, I'd like to ask for something in return this time.
To receive one, please EITHER (NOT ALL 3 (though that's very sweet of you if you do)):
- subscribe to me
- meaningful comment/hc one of my characters (excluding favs of friends)
- 3 favs (above link) (please list who you faved because my notifs mess up sometimes and don't tell me everyone who faved a character)
- willing to take other offers if you've already done all/some of these <3 if you have, you're a goddamn gem and just know that ily and I love your characters and it's so much fun seeing them back every time - honestly I might just give one on the house if I recognize you
Just be sure to let me know which you did so I can make sure I can spot you out! You can do multiple submissions, but you will still need to do the requirements for each character you submit, and they must be one at a time.
Also note, I will be giving a wide range of pokemon, not just the popular ones. Everybody forgets about midstages! Legendaries will be limited to godlike characters. Most if not all will have explanations, unless it's such an obvious pick it explains itself. For Pokémon characters, I try to avoid making their assignment one of the Pokémon in their team!

- I run a lot of forum posts and I need rest from them sometimes, allowing a queue to build up just builds stress on me. I will try my best to make a post explaining when it is on and off pause.

Let's rock! I remember you from a few other threads, happy to have you! :) Alright, so first I started going through Steel Types for the future aspect, and got nothing. Then, I went through Electric, also got nothing. Then I realized: wait, Paradox Pokemon exist. Still... nothing. Then, I went through Psychic Type. Still, nothing. But then I saw the dragon transformation and I decided on... Tatsugiri!
This is a small dragon Pokémon. It lives inside the mouth of Dondozo to protect itself from enemies on the outside. Tatsugiri is an extremely cunning Pokémon. It feigns weakness to lure in prey, then orders its partner to attack.
I thought a pokemon that could be small but still with some kick and help would be fitting, taking into account Cyberlux's lazy attitude. Additionally, these little guys are still smart seeing as they're smart enough to latch to predators like that. Letting someone else do the work would be fitting. If you think this doesn't fit though, I also considered: Alolan Sandshrew, Shinx, Meowstic, and Iron Bundle.

So, when I first saw this character and was reading the backstory, I was immediatley drawn to Litwick as a first option, but didn't want to go with my gut instinct, especially after reading its following counterpart's evolution dex entries. I wanted to be thorough with who I picked. After doing some research though, I decided to go with... Misdreavus!
It conceals itself in darkness, sending chills up travelers’ spines with its childlike weeping. As it observes the frightened travelers with glee, the red orbs upon its chest let off an eerie light. It gets nourishment from fear that it absorbs into its red orbs. During the daytime, it sleeps in the shadows.
Sadly there's not a lot of vampiric pokemon, but there's pokemon close to it. I felt like Misdeavous had a 'cool' look to it that could be styled in many different ways to suit Ash. If this doesn't work though, I also considered: Litwick, Poltchageist, and Gorebyss.
Ooohh this was a hard one. There's a not a lot of bookworm pokemon! In the end I decided to go with... Shiny Lopunny!
It’s notably wary and has a dislike of fighting, but at the same time, it can deliver powerful kicks with its lithe legs. Lopunny regrows its coat twice a year. Mufflers and hats made from its fur are really warm.
I initially didn't want to choose this pokemon, but I figured that I rather as take it the design route if I couldn't get it down on themes. What made me decide on Lopunny is its pokedex entry, as I initially expected it to be very fighting based. I was pleasantly surprised it didn't! If this doesn't work for you, though, I also considered: Hatterene, Gothorita, and Blipbug!
Oh, I knew exactly what to pick for Quartz the moment I saw them! Eglyem!
If this Pokémon stands near a TV, strange scenery will appear on the screen. That scenery is said to be from its home. It controls tremendous psychic power. Most reports of alien sightings are actually just people mistaking Elgyem for an alien.
I think its evolution, Beeheeyem, is a good mention too dex-wise. I wanted to choose Eglyem though, because I feel like Quartz would be a first-stage evolution and hasn't grown enough to be in the higher stages. Here's the dex entry: It has strong psychic powers. Using its fingers that flash three different colors, it controls its opponents and rewrites their memories. I could've sworn at least in the anime or something it mentioned the three lights being crystals, or crystal glass.
Alrighty let's rock. To start off, I made immediate grabby hands at fairy type pokemon to fit the fae theme. But, in the end I decided going with something a little different... Dragonair!
This Pokémon lives in pristine oceans and lakes. It can control the weather, and it uses this power to fly into the sky, riding on the wind. This Pokémon gathers power in the orbs on its tail and controls the weather. When enshrouded by an aura, Dragonair has a mystical appearance.
I thought that the seal could possibly be something affecting the weather, restricting Dragonair's ability to fly. If that doesn't work, then I also considered: Shelgon Line, Azelf, and the Feebas Line
To start, beautiful profile. In addition to the pokemon, if I may overstep, may I suggest Far From Home as a song for them? I think the instrumentals fit Frozen Brook's vibe very very well. I decided to take an odd approach on this one and went with Froslass, giving it the same reason I gave it as a partner pokemon to The Steward.
A Pokémon inhabited by the soul of a woman who died bearing a grudge in the snowy mountains. Legends of Froslass placing deathly curses on misbehaving men send shivers down my spine.
If this doesn't work though, I also considered: Alolan Ninetales
