Your OCs'...handwriting

Posted 5 years, 1 month ago by Kogami

I remembered when I used to collect handwriting fonts just to assign each one of them like "oh this would totally be his handwriting"...so heya....

Tell us about your OCs' handwriting, whether its messy or nice, they're so skilled to even do calligraphy or cursive, or they're good in one language/set of alphabet but completely bad at another (we all been there, no??)..... Alternatively you can also compare to a font or handwrite it yourself :>

(As usual you can post as many time as you want as long as it doesn't clog the thread, or compile them in one post)

lophiusdragon

lophius: kinda messy, like field notes

thanatos: very fancy and elegant, an art form

Zeyphr

Alura writes in a messy and childlike fashion, mirroring letters that appear next to each other. She can write past/future tense, but she can't speak them...

Moffi writes fast and messy, like my own handwriting. This doesn't impede her magic, as intent is often the driving force behind how it works.

Velo writes crisp and clear, ironically for her status as a nurse.

Xachron writes exclusively in straight or diagonal strokes, like a machine. (Charon writes neatly, but also in very tiny letters)

Jean Flaemus SaviroZenu

With how rebellious he is, his handwriting is surprisingly neat and proper and surprises a lot of people. The monks that raised him taught him caligraphy very well.

Mediocre. They really don't like their print, so they write in psuedocursive because they don't remember what r, w, and f are in cursive.

marcy htespagheti

marcy has rlly bad hand writing, she writes in all caps also presses too hard (proprioceptive sense?? i dont know her) and never rlly learned how to hold a pencil right so the letters r like fucked up (me?? projecting my autism symptoms on2 my ocs?? never) it looks sick in big marker on posters tho

*necros the thread from dead* hello

Duranous Audee LiaC

He has some very fancy handwriting. He spent the majority of his life writing and grabbing whatever book he can get his hands on.

FranCoker

What a fun idea :D let me see

They don't write often, if they do... Well it's a mess. They never finished school and are often high or drunk, so their handwriting is all over the place.

His handwriting would be the exact opposite. Neat and tidy and on very clean paper with some sort of hyper expensive pen.

He tries to make his handwriting somewhat readable, but fails most of the times. Him being Russian, english being his second language, and the amount of texts he wrote when he was still working makes his handwriting nowadays very weird. But at least very fast

Otto Geiger

When Otto writes something it either looks like Russian cursive or a doctor’s handwriting. Pretty much just scribbles, Otto is the only one that can read it lol

shrieky4

lolol I actually had a lot of fun with this! (About half of my characters can't speak or read and write properly)

 Callum Vxxlo

I had a ball with this lol, just picked a random handful

Callum: Fancy asf but borderline illegible
Indigo: Clean, cute cursive
Koshka: Hastily scribbled chaos + a little doodle for quick vandalism
Mel: Very clean, small print
Kingsleigh: 0 effort just a doodle it's not like they have a reason to write anyways

Egg Anasaitis

Given his kidnapped-at-3-urchin-in-medieval-fantasy-setting backstory youd expect him to not know how to write or to write sloppily....

But his grandpa/mentor was a novelist as a hobby and is a strict teacher so Egg's handwriting is actually as steady as a printing press and he can do a couple different fonts. He prefers a tight, neat cursive that favors being legible and elegant.
