Astrophel usually uses something to write on (Like a whiteboard, notepad, or just a phone) and show to people so he can still communicate to people, despite his Laliophobia.

Agatha has a humongous collection of seashells and other creatures from the ocean in her childhood. She would pick up anything she could find, and even had part of her finger clamped off by an angry live mussel! Later in her life, she still cherishes them, and has a half-finished sculpture made entirely out of seashells, most of which are from her childhood. She shows it off a lot, and considers it her masterpiece and a representation of herself, even though it’s incomplete.
