This game is similair to the Choose a Pokémon for the character above you! thread. However, instead of choosing one pokemon that seems to suit their looks/personality, you create a team~! You can stick to one type or choose several based on color alone. It's all up to you.

Pollena is a Gym leader of two types. One of the types I have decided on is Grass. Do not use Fairy or Ice as I already have a Gym leader for both.
tried to go with a water/dark theme without using Pokemon seen with Team Aqua in game Frillish, Chinchou and Clauncher being sea based water types and Sableye Purrloin and Murkrow all have a thing for shiny objects or stealing or both i hope this is ok! ;w;

I don't think Charred's pokemon would be all entirely evolved quite yet, which is why Charmeleon, Houndour, and Fletchinder are there. I tried to go with some non-fire types.. But I couldn't do it. I thought about a shiny Rapidash, but I seriously think Charred would prefer a normal one. He likes his pokemon the way they are.
I like to imagine Charred cuddles up with all of his pokemon at night-- ESPECIALLY Ninetales and Rapidash.

I ended up going with pokemon based on mammals from the mustelidae family! It started off with me picking a zigzagoon because of the creature on her shoulder and then that's where I came up with the idea to choose pokemon based on like ferrets and weasles =w=;;

I was mostly going with magic/psychic theme, including an unown (V for Vanilla) to connect to ancient scrolls, and cofagrigus to represent the mysterious dark 'unknown place'. ninetales is just generally a pokemon that seems to fit with this character, and zorua is not only a fox but also an illusionist (reflecting vanilla's ability to stay hidden)
