Give a Pokemon Team to the Character Above you

Solve

Svein was very fun to build a team for! I tried to base it on both her design and backstory. Hope you enjoy ~

Rabsca ~ Svein has lots of scarab symbolism, and so does Rabsca! It is literally just a psychic scarab beetle, plus Bulbapedia suggests it's based Kephri, an Egyptian god that represents the rising sun/rebirth. So many parallels between Svein and this pokemon!

Solrock ~ Obviously, sun symbolism. I also think its colours match Svein's clothes very well; the shiny version even more so!

Luxray ~ A monster hunter would need a strong and intimidating pokemon to help them out, and Luxray fits the bill. I also picked it based on Svein's scarring; it looks a bit like lightning and matches Luxray's colours quite well.

Volcarona ~ Literally called the 'Sun Pokemon' and matches Svein's firey vibe! In its debut game, there is only one catchable Volcarona in an ancient ruin, and it is described as the embodiment of the sun in a Pokedex entry. It feels very mysterious and almost divine, which matches Svein's association with godhood.

Escavalier ~ Another strong pokemon suited to monster hunting, it also reminds me of her leg armour. It could also be associated with rebirth; to evolve, it puts on the shell of another pokemon.

Arcanine ~ A powerful and just petty cool pokemon. The Pokedex describes people grovelling before it (almost like a god), and plus I just felt Svein needed another fire type.

I hope you like this! My analysis got kinda detailed haha, Pokemon is one of my oldest special interests and I love sharing my random knowledge about it!

For In'am I think this team suits her:

Xatu - A Pokémon that sees into both the past and future simultaneously, plus I think design wise, it just suits In'am really well!

Dragonair - A very elegant dragon Pokémon, which obviously hails to the fact that In'am is well, a dragon. 

Noctowl - Owls are rather wise creatures, and I just can't help but think In'am would have one around. I also think of owls whenever I think of libraries (Thanks The Last Airbender!) so I bet In'am would have a few of these guys and some Hoothoots flying around. 

Volcarona - A Pokémon that served as a source of light in a desert when the sun was blotted out. I always think of Volcarona when I think of Pokémon associated with deserts, funnily enough. Being a rather ancient and powerful Pokemon, I can't help but think that In'am would have one around. 

Sigilyph - Mostly for the same reasons as Xatu. Sigilyph is a Pokemon that I'm kind of surprised I didn't think of sooner for In'am, as I feel they suit each other rather well! The Pokedex describes Sigilyph as the guardians of ancient cities, so perhaps there'd be a few of them flying around the library where In'am resides. And like Xatu, In'am and Sigilyph just go together really well design wise.

Uxie - Being the embodiment of human knowledge and wisdom, Uxie was the Pokémon I immediately thought of when I first read In'am's profile! The Pokedex states that when it first flew, humanity gained the knowledge to solve problems, along with describing that Uxie steals the memories of those that see its eyes. I felt both of these things, along with Uxie's general themes and designs, suited In'am very well!

 Aspen’s a very well written character- quite a good read! Had a lot of fun with making her a pokemon team- although I admit Gorebyss may be a bit of a stretch for her. It just felt right to put it down. Debated on whether or not to make an all psychic team to fit her as a Scholar- but a more diverse typed team seemed to make more sense. I also kept them mostly related to her personality; to simplify the process of finding a good match. Hope you enjoy it well enough!

Orbeetle - Like Aspen, Orbeetle is quite intelligent! And I thought it was the best fitting intelligent pokemon for her.

Alolan Persian - Persian’s in generally are well known for mainly looking out for themselves, this one mainly comes with a bonus of this variant being considered more extra than the other. Both variants considered Upper class.

Dracozolt - While not exactly part of human history, this fossil pokemon is certainly part of history. Being revived carelessly would definitely spark curiosity. On top of that, it’d be able to work with Aspen‘s quick decision making with it’s speed. Although not the best fit with her outfit- the shiny would though.

Salazzle - Definitely very social, always being around salandits. And overall fit’s Aspen’s outfit. Definitely could see this one as a favorite!

Paldean Tauros - This would beat people in a debate competition no doubt. Very combative. Why? Because it refuses to leave you alone. Ever. You’re in it’s territory- you will be ran over with no mercy. This isn’t even about its stats.

Gorebyss - Going off the Sapphire and Ultra Moon dex entries, I’d say this thing is ruthless. Effective, but apathetic. A good tool to be used.

Edge_Goldie (it's been awhile so I hope the ping isn't a bother!! Apologies if it is;;;) In the mood to do some pokemon team crafting so here we go!

 
- Being an axolotl the first pokemon that came to my mind was Wooper!  Specifically shiny wooper to match the colors. I also think Wooper in general always seems pretty happy and upbeat which I think fits his personality!

- You know I just HAD to give him a future paradox pokemon. As for why Iron Thorns specifically... it's electric type. And I was playing on his name. Plus the "rock" type could be a pun on music (rock music??) I don't know maybe I'm stretching it but he deserves a future paradox pokemon...

- I just think that, thematically, Porygon-Z fits pretty well. It's definitely one of THE pokemon associated with things like computers or AI... though any pokemon in this line would be fine too. It says that Porygon-Z was made when installing a program that made it go wonky but I think he'd love it anyway

- If he was a gym leader (or elite four) he'd definitely be either electric or steel type... combine them and what do you get? Magnezone! Along with wooper this popped into my head immediately.

- Yes yes another electric type. Other than just being electric though I've always thought Alolan Raichu seemed like a pretty chill pokemon. It's also really floaty and he likes to float around a lot too so... floating buddies!

- Originally I was looking for a pokemon that specifical had a music theme, but then I remembered Loudred. Wants to be a DJ and likes to play loud music during battle specifically? Well Loudred's ears look like speakers and it's name literally has loud in it, so it seemed fitting! I chose it over Exploud specifically because of its design.

these guys!!!! all of them have some form of white.... i took the "creative" + "fiery" n ran w it...

anyways besides the firey n creative parts... both staraptor n gallade seem 2 b confident n reliable, and pachirisu is is prob venturesome in some way

frosslass and milotic are for how rowen acts all proper, audino and elgyem since he likes science and studied medicine, whimsicott and roselia jus for the vibe

Sliggoo - The color scheme, little head tendrils, plus the jelly-soft hair! I think Sliggoo would be Bai's right-hand Pokemon.

Politoed - Amphibian like Bai. Plus I think cute Pokemon would fit her.

Corsala - Coral just like them ;^)

Tinkaton - Carries a big purple hammer like Bai.

Vaporean - Also mostly made of water just like Bai. Hopefully it doesn't count too much as a fish.

Lapras - Idk I just imagine Bai traversing the sea on the back of a Lapras. I just think that'd be very cute to see!

Pokemon 1-2: Furfrou, Minccino/Cinccino (Both have something to do with upkeep/cleanliness. Also Furfrou's fur has many styles)
Pokemon 3: Scovillan (mainly due to his love of spicy foods)
Pokemon 4: Chatot (I couldn't find trumpet pokemon but I did chose a pokemon that could mimic that sound)
Pokemon 5: Oricorio (Performer reasons. I just chose Baile Style because it looked pretty)
Pokemon 6: Purrloin (This one was hard to choose but I honestly couldn't stop seeing him having some sort of feline. Though not Litten & its Evos; even though there's a LOT of fire types in this lineup already)

Solve - Hehe worked with what I was given, I hope you like!!!

Cosmoem - I am biased Cosmoem is one of my favorite Pokemon aesthetics-wise...   And I think it fits both Ashish's design and liking for stars really well. I like to think he doesn't even know how rare it is. It might stay in this evolutionary stage forever, but if it were to evolve, then probably into Lunala. It sleeps a lot during the day and is generally lazy, but around night it gets all active and watches the stars with him!

Wartortle - I couldn't help but think of that one Squirtle with the cool sunglasses, so I thought he could have a Wartortle that has a similar character!!! It really matches him,

Happiny - A stubborn sweetie that always sticks close to his side and wants to take care of his chest wound, no matter how much it drips and refuses to heal. This Happiny is his ride or die!!! He stumbled upon it randomly one day and since then it has never left him. Probably got a pokeball to catch itself for him.

Sharpedo - Gotta have the cool pirate torpedo shark pokemon,, a simple must,

Gabite - I see Gabite as this young, immature fighter who always looks out for Ashish. Basically, it takes any fights that Happiny cannot (though Happiny will still try), which usually results in angry, childish squawking and shoving anyone who inconveniences Ashish the slightest bit (or in their opinions, which is nearly always).

Zoroark - The loyal OG Pokemon that has always been by his side back when it was a Zorua. Got a more chilled out badass demeanor, watching from behind or the sidelines. Like a chill,  big mama/dada character to the others, while being like Ashish's younger badass sibling, in a sense.

I wanted to lean kinda heavily into psychic types based on Purrlin's lore, so here ya go ^^

Gothitelle: Has the ability to see into the future, and sometimes likes to show people the heat-death of the universe. I thought Gothitelle would take comfort in knowing Purrlin has an infinite lifespan.

Oranguru: Extremely intelligent and often seen commanding other pokemon, though has a habit of looking down on unskilled trainers. I think Purrlin would be up to Oranguru's standards for an experienced trainer.

Bronzong: An ancient pokemon once worshiped for rain, I thought having one would make sense given how long Purrlin has been around. Purrlin's Bronzong is probably one of the original ones from so long ago.

Xatu: A pokemon that sees both far into the future, and far into the past. A perfect companion for Purrlin, perhaps it can deligate some tasks to Xatu when it is busy elsewhere.

Shiinotic: This one is mostly based off vibes, he looks to have the same vibes as Purrlin does. I can see Purrlin just looking at this thing and deciding Shiinotic is its now.

Celesteela: I had to put in at least one Ultra Beast for this creature. I picked it because the entry says it's apparently common in its own world, so I can just imagine Purrlin taking one casually as it falls out a portal.
