high(er) effort headcanon thread

Let's see here....I think I have an idea here based on what's currently available. I noticed there wasn't much info on his relationship with his step mom so I decided to think of a possible idea there!

- Perhaps due to the bond Alfred had with his father, being transferred into the care of his step-mother was extremely rough on him, especially due to the horrific death of his father. In some ways, Alfred pushed some blame and anger onto Ms. Wilson, despite her having nothing to do with his father's death nor the creature at all. Their bond was strained, especially with Alfred being busy in studies and other things, keeping himself away from his step mother. Now, he regrets treating her a little more poorly than he did his father, but may feel it's a little late or awkward to recoop for lost time. Perhaps it's best to move on now, and pretend it never happened.

To go inhand with the headcanon idea that perhaps he and his stepmother did not always get along in his early life, perhaps there was a lot of talk of his brother Gordon. How he preferred to stay around him and thought much more highly of him than Ms. Wilson. Perhaps idolizing him a bit more since the death of his dad.

I had this idea for Trixie.

 I feel like since she knows everyone (or basically everyone) in her town she has little specific greetings for each. Each greeting is very specific. If the person likes history, it's a random history fact, if the person likes drama it's a dramatic saying, and so on. As well as she has gotten the majority of the townfolks' favorite genres down. She keeps a couple of books for each person behind her desk to suggest to them. She also has a whole section laid out for any newcomers of the town's favorites. A book for each genre from each person. She makes everyone smile from this and is quite beloved by the town. Due to this, she is constantly given gifts from the locals, mostly star-related objects. Her desk at work is covered with little trinkets the town gets her.

since you didnt really specify a character i went with Zander

I feel like Zander often bases a lot of his artistic expression (skits, songs, dances, stories) off his own experiences being a werewolf. It may not always be obvious, and he often uses metaphors and allegories to avoid being repetitive, but his best creations are ones that he's emotionally invested in. However, his most popular book is about a werewolf who talks to his pet dog, which is very popular among children. The settings of his stories are also inspired by any particularly striking landscape or town he's travelled to, and sometimes slips in references to people he's met during those travels in his art if he liked them enough. He's also a favorite among partygoers due to his lively storytelling and dancing, and is always one to put on a show if asked nicely. Zander also owns a (very well kept) orange tree, and often makes treats for his neighbors with any extra fruit he has during harvest season. 

Ian is a very expressive sort of fellow - though he often attempts to not be entirely upfront in his morbid interests by masking them with an air of amiability, he has a hard time concealing the sinister expressions associated with talking about those kinds of things, even though it'd do him well to. To that end, there's almost an unsettling dissonance between his words and his face; if something, or someone, irritates him, he will respond kindly but have a difficult time masking his exasperation. The extent of this tendency really only comes out when he's trying to mask his more unpleasant emotions, like impatience or chagrin, though he also shows fervid enthusiasm when the things he's passionate about are brought up. He's also quick to correct people if they're wrong about something that he's fond of, though he goes about it in a way that is well-intended -  Ian is certainly not haughty about the things he's passionate about - he's just keen to correct any misunderstandings he perceives right off the bat.

I also imagine that, because of his insomnia, he spends a lot of his sleepless nights tending to his blog. 

Ciao loves or at least enjoys little/younger kids. This however is not reciprocated by the kids. Whenever they scream or get frightened by them, Ciao brings out a bowl of candy. He keeps the bowl behind the desk for kids especially, as he doesn’t want the kids to be afraid of him. This got her called around the schoolyard as the “Candy Skater.” Ciao is however very happy that this has happened, and gives young kids candy any time she sees them, in an hope to keep kids coming in and not being afraid of her. After all, if the kids aren’t scared of her, the adults have no reason to be either.

I also feel like her regulars are their friends in a way that they celebrate slightly together. Occasionally a regular will bring them a shirt or hoodie that they believe fits Ciao’s style, or will bring them butterfly stuff. I think it’s cute. 

OKAY! i was thinking about this yesterday, actually.. but i didn't have the time to really comment. so i saw that toshiro's persona is hercules. bear with me here, slush.. i know about.. .5 things about persona (i went to fate and gbf instead), so i'm not sure if that means herc like resembles toshiro at all or if he's/it/they're connected to him, but i want to say.. that they kind of are? which leads me down the headcanon path of toshiro really liking the DISNEY version of hercules when he was a child. i'm a huge sucker for childhood headcanons and i just like to envision toshiro getting all dressed up for holidays in the costume, re-watching and re-watching the movie time and time again (he would know it by heart), and even watching the show. i figure he'd, of course, grow out of it.. but it's something that like.. if someone turned on hercules, he'd almost see his past/inner child watching it again and getting all excited and into the movie type of thing. and maybe, just maybe, he's got those really old school mcdonalds plates hercules put out.

Hailen and Motley as they are close and share a deep bond , as Hailen admires her and her fame, Motley is protective of her little brother, doing everything to keep him safe and away from harm. It’s a mutual relationship involving admiration combined with  respect with protectiveness and care for the other.

Though Hailey aspires to be like Motley, he is also unique in his own sense and cherishes it. While Motley is a badass pink cowgirl who runs a nightclub, Hailey is the motorbike and rifle enthusiast who has his strange Demon detection ability. And while he does admire others and wants to be like them, he also wants to have a sense of self identity that is unique to him. Nothing would be more terrifying than to lose sense of your own identity , to ar lease. Nontheless the differences of Hailey and Motley make them closer to eachother than ever!

alexd Cayden is incredibly talented at sewing. He does all the stitching for any repairs, decoration or just because, all by himself with no aid from any machinery. He can spend hours on a piece, doing delicate little maneuvers with his needle and thread and it will look absolutley amazing. He uses sewing as an escape and distraction from his trauma and the memories that come with it, the repetition helping to calm him completely. He keeps a sewing kit and a couple spare pieces of fabric in his bag at all times.

(Also! How fun a Legend of Zelda Character! I think that's super neat and I'll definitely be abusing my knowledge of the lore here heheh)

Juniper is not only a great seamstress, but quite the knitter as well. She's good enough at it that she can teach others, and is surprisingly patient for it. Often times though, even if she teaches others, she's often the one to mend people's clothes at the end of the day. Juniper will often make cute little stitched additions to any clothing she mends... so long as she can get away with it! 

Juniper is not prone to her own kind of mischief, often pulling light-hearted pranks to get a smile or laugh out of those closest to her. These can range from simple pranks like jumping out to startle to more elaborate plans that far too often employ the use of pies and other pastries. These often result in varied reactions from the victims but a cacophony of laughter from Juniper herself. She is always considerate enough to help out with clean up after the fact.

She's also a little brazen, often biting off more than she can chew in battle. Added to her tendency to get cocky and egg her opponents on, things often can get pretty rough. Juniper is often able to carry through these rough patches, but it's almost never unscathed and often requires the use of one of her few potions. She used to be too prideful to carry many potions but after a few close calls, she often won't leave for an adventure until she has one in hand.

Juniper strikes me as someone who is very careful when catching fairies to help her stay alive. She treats them with care and respect and always makes sure to thank them if she ever finds herself needing to use one. She even carries special bottles that definitely are a little less cramped and probably homier feeling than the bottles her counterparts use. Always has an interesting experience meeting with any of the Great Fairies and they seem to favor her for her consideration.

Oh for the next poster; you can instead write headcanons for Illanya's happier counterpart if the undead lady isn't your style!

I feel like after Illanya's death, she often gets irregular spasms of pain in where her heart is. usually Very inconvenient, and it gets a lot more frequent when she's physically stressed. perhaps it even affects how she moves at times? maybe she'd find it quite difficult to move a certain part of her body (I,e: arms, legs, etc) after a Horrendous episode. sometimes her limbs go numb as well

also I think that she would make commentary to herself when she's alone. while it doesn't help Very much in the loneliness aspect, she still at least appreciates having a voice to hear and distract herself to. I can see her mumbling/hushed when she's doing this (mostly because she'd be embarrassed if someone walked in on her). That asides, I think she would also make banger commentary videos in some other world. maybe she laughs at some of her own conversations as well GFHHGHF

doesn't feel much hunger (probably due to her death?). she's actually somewhat appreciative of it, since that feeling Reminds her of the time when she was horrifically tortured. makes sure to keep snacks or extra food on her at All Times

Headcanon for jaxieus-cadell

-Jaxieus and Yvette sometimes wishes to celebrate their birthdays, however Jaxieus feels sympathy that Yvette can’t remember hers since she couldn’t remember her past life. When Jaxieus asks her opinion about birthdays Yvette actually doesn’t know what’s it like having birthday, Jaxieus tells her definition what is and afterwards Yvette likes the idea and event having a birthday party however to Jaxieus on the other hand hates birthdays because he just hates being born here and what his life has taken him. Yvette comforts him and tells him (after Jaxieus tells the definition of birthdays) she thinks its celebration of being alive and long you have made it. Jaxieus feels comfort of what she says but he still has the feeling that every birthday event his goes much worse and worse. He still hates birthdays but he dose hope that if he gets a good chance in life maybe he would have the best birthday event ever.

-Jaxieus when he’s alone and bored with nothing else to do, he will make people out of junk and pretend to have a “normal life” like full sized person, however he gets embarrassed and tries to hide or destroy his junk sculptures of people and doesn’t want to be an insane person and often lies that he doesn’t do that, he likes to have feel of what’s it like living normal life by watching movies or just takes quick glance. And copies his scenario and makes scenario real by making one. Surprisedly after making sculptors with out of junk he’s getting good at making sculptures that look like master pieces and even people complained but he just says that it wasn’t his because again he is still embarrassed by his hobby of what he dose and sadly he dose destroy the evidence of his amazing sculptors made of our junk. (However Yvette knows this but pretends not know his secret and be oblivious) 

-Sometimes Jaxieus comes up with his own band name and remembers it on top of his head and imagines what’s his outfit is going to be like and what is logo he wants to be like. Jaxieus imagines his theme would be very dark clothes with 80s theme would fit in his taste in metal and rock. He was inspired by band concert that he really wanted to go (without any ticket? he’s planning to sneak in) With Yvette, but sadly couldn’t go to the concert since Yvette is sensitive to loud sounds & bright/fluorescent lights. So Jaxieus could only watch really far away from the concert for Yvette comfort. However it was fun watching really away from the concert and somedays he can go to the favourite band and the concert when he has opportunity.

-Jaxieus handwriting is very messy and writes really quick, in general he hates writing and prefers to type things in computer or phone. So he just doodles stick figures to show what he is talking about. He dose get very envious if someone has the greatest handwriting and signature. In fact if he were have to write a signature he would change up signatures since he couldn’t remember most his signatures.

-He has his own teeth brush (inside his pocket)  and uses it every morning but he doesn’t have tooth paste so he just doesn’t use it until he has toothpaste. However he dose floss his teeth and uses it everyday. He dose to avoid going to the dentist since sometimes it reminds him  of his past and he could avoid any “dentist fees” which his idea goes brilliant well and doesn’t go to single dentist ever. He also dose research about teeth and making sure to remember it well to avoid any “Teeth problems” to go to the dentist and if he ever sees a dentist he would just never look them in the eye and never speak to them so the dentist wouldn’t mention his teeth.
