Am I doing this right? (Ask anything btw)

"Only thing I can pilot is a space cycle. So not much of a requirement there. I kinda stole mine, so I don't really have a license. But if you ment space pirate, and not space pilot, yes, there are reqirements. You climb the ranks with money really. The more loot you get your hands on and sell for a good price, the more people will begin to respect you. And of course you have to have the baddest personality and the biggest weapons, which coincidentaly, I have. ♥)

"What do you generally do as a rookie space pirate? Are there any requirements in order to be in a certain crew?"

"Actually, it was pretty easy since Marie and I were on our own shortly after the Tellran Defense Forces had to dismiss us due to the destruction of the HQ. Since we were in one of the few two people groups, it was obvious that one or the other had to be the leader (and I had no problem not being one). It pretty much stuck as time went on as we brought in more members."

"how did you get to second in command? I imagine it was tough"

Ah! well honestly it depends on where the people are. The ones that live close to the mountains where Zellde and his kind were created tend to see alot of magical creatures so they probably wouldn't have much of a reaction aside from being cautious. Magic is a common and so are being created from said magic. So in the city or somewhere far away I would say he would be met with a subtle fear. 

 Are others generally startled by their appearance or are creatures somewhat like them the norm in that world and how does Zellde feel about it? If they aren't afraid, what's their reaction?

"Odd, yes, but clever nonetheless, actually. You see, with the dream plague being as contagous as it is, it's best to keep a good distance from patients, and so I use my cane to administer medicine while still keeping myself at a decent length from the disease. I also think it just looks nice, and it makes it easy to carry medicine."

"Out of curiosity, why is your cane filled with medicine? It seems like a strange place to keep it."

"It's more of a symbolic title in my case. While it means much more in the case of the other six keepers, since their job is supposed to be to keep unwanted people away from the center of hell, it means nearly nothing to me, since the circle of pride is the innermost circle. There's nothing to defend. But, since the other six all have titles related to the sins, it stands to reason I would too."

"What is your job as Keeper of Pride like?"

"Clown friend steal raw meat for...... experiments."

"Uh...why exactly do you smell like raw meat?"

"Well...he looked after me since I was a kid. He's been everything to me. A teacher and the closest I'll ever have to a parent.

But he couldn't stand weakness. He said the Star-Children would kill me if I was weak. He started training me to fight and wouldn't stop, no matter how much I cried. He'd beat me if I didn't do something right. It was tough sometimes.

The others...the others would never say anything. They'd lick my wounds and take care of me...but they never said it was wrong. I don't know if it was just the Leviathan way or if they were too scared to protest..."

What did your exact relationship with Doros entail? How did your surrounding peers and superiors react to what happened, what did they think of it?

"I think I'd be out of commission for some time. Not from the Guild, but from myself. Patrolling, training, and going on missions together with my group need me to have a good look on the world and I'd only have to lag behind on my own if I wanna still join everyone.

To, uh... prevent people from making abuse of the Guild we can also only get glass and frame replacement every five years, a matter of no one giving away a pair of glasses to friends every month and then vanishing without paying for training or those countless pairs, so one pair has to last for long. It's because they are hard to make and make right. I have been without and it wasn't fun. It felt lonely."

What would you do if you ever lost your glasses? how hard is it to get replacements in your world?

"Ah well, In the beginning, there were no demons actually. They all stemmed from Lucifer and his fallen angels that went him when the heavens went to war. I was rather close with Lucifer when he was young and even helped raise him with his father and mother. I was the only angel that he could stand that didn't take his side in the war. Naturally, it fell on me to be the middle man between him and God when things need to be discussed. Anyone else wouldn't have been safe with doing so.

Over time the other demons knew I was no threat to them and generally ignore me when I am around. I do not feel completely safe, but I trust Lucifer enough to not let anything happen to me when I am in his realm."

I assume that angels and demons don't interact regularly so how did learn that you could get along with them? How did you get your position after that? Did you offer your skills or were they discovered?

Ooh his parents, ok so first of all he doesn't actually have a dad (he thinks he does), his demos mom is just a skilled magic user which allowed her and his human mom to have a kid. As for how they met, well the town his human mom grew up in was very close to the border between the middle country and the demos country. His demos mom basically got into a fight with her family so left angrily and hid, disguised, in a human village where she met his human mother, they fell in love, and the whole shebang happened.

As for the heart mark, that's part of world lore stuff that I haven't written up yet, but basically magic users fall into 4 categories, diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs, and they have a symbol which represents what magic they can do. Ravios is a heart so he gets stuff like mind-control/reading magic. Influencing people. Whatnot like that.

What's with his dad? Ok I understand humans don't like his kind but how'd the parents meet? How come they got a child? And what is this heart mark?

It's like an ID just electronic. It also shows your status, species and nationality to other people. It has an SOS function too.

What does this necklace/collar around your neck do?

He works as a drafter for a friend for whom he does technical drawings, so he mainly sticks to pencil and ink. For other commissioners he offers to do illustrations, meaning scenes mainly involving humans as they're used in books or advertisement, so the focus isn't really on scenery. The illustrations are mainly done in ink which is then overpainted with gouache. They're then reproduced with lithography so his drawings are preliminary. He rarely uses gouache alone or oil for other paintings.

"So what kind of art subject do you generally focus on? Landscapes? Characters? Do you use various kinds of media or do you just stick with one?"

"Well I did get in big trouble for messing about and changing plans last minute during my early years of crime fighting. Luckily, this kind of decreased overtime and I'm very grateful that I wasn't kicked during those times. Especially during a certain assignment where I blew my team's cover when deciding to engage in combat too early."

"You say you have a tendency to be reckless.  Has this ever lead to a huge mistake?  Have you ever hurt someone because of your recklessness?"

"Oh not at all!  I love my family very much, and there's love to be had from your own species that animals can't give you (no not that way you dirty person!).  Though, I will admit it saddens me to see us betraying each other over the slightest thing, whereas animals will remain loyal for life."

 "Do you find your ability to communicate with animals, to inhibit your ability to communicate with people? Such as prefering one species over the other, or finding yourself to dislike aspects of humanity as a whole?"

 "Oh- well uh- I know Maki does what he needs to do to survive. He tends to keep me out of the loop so I don't get targeted for information, but that doesn't make it any less concering... I can tolerate it, but I of course get worried about him- though I am going to have to ask who told you I had a crush on him- I mean I don't, but I wouldn't want wrong information to be spread about, y'know?"
