Pick a Song for the Character Above You

Posted 6 years, 8 months ago (Edited 6 years, 8 months ago) by Kai

You can either base it off how they look, their biography, or their personality. It's entirely up to you. You may recommend songs for as many Characters above yours as you like, just make sure to give one to the character directly above yours first!

ⓇOnly one rule: Make sure you tag songs with explicit words in them! ☛ Ⓔ

Make sure you write in your post if you don't want a song with explicit words in it!

I'll start with one of my own characters below.

Petrichor polkadot

Sarah Smiles by Panic! At The Disco feels fitting to me!

Cake by melanie martinez

Christian Gray PK_Skeletons

143 Ways To Lose Urself - usedcvnt

I think it fits the whole crazy man motif he has going on. Any breakcore song might work, but I don't listen to a lot of breakcore so I wouldn't know much . . . Additionally, The Animistic Anti-Ono Band - antiyono also works. Crazy and very hard to understand. Do be aware that this song is like, over 11 minutes long and most of it is just, noise . . . It is almost surreal in a sense and I could totally see it being a theme for him

Chen BBsOnlyfan

Harvey Milk - I Know This Is No Place For You

twittypet

less than three by disko warp!!

Liz Mckenna TealRoomie

Awfully Beautiful - Central Park (mostly because of the bird line but also the character singing is named Birdie lolz)

No explicit lyrics please !! ^w^

"When will my life begin" - Tangled ost

This song gives me very enthusiastic, fun vibes, just like the vibes liz gives me!

Np- i'd prefer a song with fitting lyrics please

🌴 Lem steakseed

There Is a Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths

I feel like it would be Trudence and his couple song :)

 Jackson Javines (needs update) Cheese_Ferret

Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus

(I think that it's a bit self-explanatory) He's a teen who drinks Monster and listens to nu-metal sooo yeah.

(I love him though hahaha)

Eurwyn twipie

definitely Numbers by Temporex !! ( fits well with him and his gf lol)

Buttercream GLITCH-DXCTOR

The Longing by Patty Gurdy! I'm going to be so honest, I'm not 100% sure why this feels like it fits. It feels like some kind of song that would fit a Nephilim (unless you mean Nephalem but I believe that was made up for Diablo), and I kind of associate the whole "longing for adventure" thing with a longing for the stars, if that makes sense? There wasn't a whole lot of info to go off of, so I'm sorry if that's inaccurate! I just generally associate a lot of hurdy gurdy music with Neil Gaiman's writing, too.

If you don't like that recommendation, I can also offer Deviant Love by Anh Ha, one of my current favorite songs! It would fit someone mild-mannered and timid with a passion for reading, but with a dangerous fate all the same. The instrumentals at the beginning especially also give me the visual of twinkling stars!

Carver Pastafang

Deceptive and two-faced? Maintains a facade? Cold and calculating? Manipulative control freak? I'm definitely getting Perfect Machine by Starset vibes.

 Scout falloutnewvegas

ooh, a little dark/mysterious but can be charismatic? hungover in jonestown by amigo the devil fits that sort of ambiance, but i think sugar by system of a down could also work maybe!

Illanya Mariold (Undead AU) HardyLark

Hello! While I could definitely assign which song fits from Fallout: NV (which I will still do lol, I like the music too much not to!) I wanted to at least choose another song that wasn't from the game. SO I chose Tough Kids by Coyote Kid! I feel the lyrics as well as the style of genre of the song fits Scout very well! From the game proper? Stars of the Midnight Ranger would be my pick... Maybe that's nostalgia speaking tho.

Or anyone else from my roster, If you're having trouble^^

OH, I LOVE THIS GIRL. So, here are my recommendations, I have several varying levels of seriousness. First, my most serious recommendations: Hozier - Eat Your Young and Jann - Gladiator. They just give me the vibes of a bitter death night, so I think they fit. Next, my less serious option: Marina and the Diamonds - Valley of the Dolls. I just love this song and apply it to everything, but I like the feeling of despair and think that pairs nicely with your gal here. Third, my musical options: Wishing You Were Somehow Here With Me from Phantom of the Opera and Javert's Suicide from Les Miserables. Both sad, heartwrenching songs relating to death (that I also love), so thus they make the list. Honorable mention to Minnie Driver's Learn to be Lonely from the Phantom Movie, I like that for her too. Lastly, my joke song. Stephanie Mabey - The Zombie Song. It's about zombies and she's undead :P.
