Muse loves to jot things down if they forget,so a ballpoint pen is the first thing,followed by a small notepad,if not those two things then their phone to contact his husband and son.
Sometimes, you can tell a lot about someone from what's in their pocket or purse at that moment! Then I thought it would be a fun idea for a forum game hence the title of the thread. It can be anything that you think represents what your character is like and/or certain habits.
Lets use gum as an example, bubblegum could imply a restless mouth but mint gum could imply your character is conscious about what their breath smells like but nicotine gum can imply your character is trying to kick the habit of smoking. Other items alongside the gum can be independent of each other or connected, for example a gum wrapper would imply that your character likes chewing gum but was too lazy to find a garbage can, just stuffing it back into their pocket.
If you want you can explain what the items say about your character, but you don't have to. It can just be a fun exercise of figuring out what your character would find if they reached into their pocket at any given moment.
So! What's in your character's pocket?
Angelica would have plain, tough-strip bandaids in one pocket and her flip phone in the other pocket. She's rather spartan in her lifestyle, therefore doesn't have or carry around much.
"Eeeh ! I have two kiwi fruits in my backpockets but I can't keep them for a long time or I'll just smash them by accident while sitting down" laughs
" I also have fruity moods, I can either have watermelon popsicles and a small sketchpad, or a pineapple chapstick or lipstick, you decide, haha! "
It's possible that if you asked Carlos to empty his pockets you might find a wallet or cellphone... not his though! He can sometimes be a bit of a kleptomaniac and pinch other people's possessions without them even noticing.
Carlos doesn't actually even own a wallet or cellphone of his own.
On rare occasions there may be a half eaten packet of food like pistachio nuts if he's been eating on the move and put the rest of the packet away for later.
Other than that though he doesn't really carry any possessions other than what he's wearing. He more just uses them to carry things he's acquired while he's out.
Let's see...
- Several coupons and receipts, some dating back to last year.
- Numerous phone numbers jotted down on different pieces of paper, some of which are his own, some that are for restaurants.
- Cell phone
- His tie?!
And in the breast pocket of his suit is a photo! Of what? A secret~
"Well, there's a little bit of a problem here!" Gesturing to her typical, frilly, lacy dress, it becomes obvious that there aren't any pockets to fill. "A lot of my outfits just don't have pockets to begin with! I usually just store my stuff away in a bag or something like that~!" She then lets out a small, cheeky giggle before leaning forwards and smirking gleefully. Her voice drops to a teasing whisper, while another hand dips into her cleavage. "Doesn't mean I don't keep a few things on my person~" After a few moments, she yanks out a few condoms of varying sizes and assortments. "Gotta stay safe~! This way, even if I don't have my bag, i'm 100% ready~!"
She rummages about and starts pulling things out, "Umm.. Some balled up yarn... Tora's snack pack, a yo-yo.. oh! I was wondering where that taffy went!"
"My pockets...?" She starts going into numerous pockets on her pants and jacket to find several white sheets used to put stickers on before applying on everywhere else. "Yeah... I've been playing with a bunch of papers. Sometimes I keep forgetting to throw them away. But you know, sometimes I can't find a trashcan near me!"
