Nitro was wandering the city, only having just finished her day job as a meteorologist. Her eyes still shined a dim, faint blue as she walked around, inspecting the windows of several stores. She had no idea that in a few minutes, she would be in a completely different predicament.
She heard the sounds as she almost passed by an alleyway. Even with her poor hearing, the sounds were unmistakable and horrifying. Wheezing, pained yelps, raspy coughing. Nitro so badly wanted to turn away, but the temptation and will was too strong for her.
Her eyes didn't lie. Lying there was a giant wolf, wounded and bleeding. Exercising great caution, Nitro came up to the great creature. From the color of the wolf's fur, and it's size, Nitro knew that this wasn't no ordinary wolf. It was probably some sort of higher power then she was, but she had no time at that moment to dwell on such thoughts. She had to concentrate on helping them.
Since she had no cellphone, she assumed the best course of action was to drag them out into the open, where others could come to aid. She grabbed the scruff of the giants neck and started to drag them to the opening of the alleyway. Even though the wolf groaned and her muscles trembled, she kept it up until she was in plain sight of the street.
She knew she had made it when others cane rushing forward. Crouching down besides the creature, she quietly whispered, "Don't worry, there's help on the way." She didn't leave their side until the animal hospital van rolled up, and only then could she relax.
It had been a wild day, but hopefully she had been able to help in the end.

Nitro had been surrounded by members of the ARTG. Try as hard as she might to fight them off, hmshe was getting weaker and weaker by the second. Her vision started to blur at the edges and her ears started to ring. It wouldn't be long before they were inevitably going to win.
