Agares walked through the alleyway, whistling to himself over the job he had done earlier. Christopher wasn't trying to retake control as he always did when Agares finally got control, he was strangely silent. It almost creeped Agares out, as he got a bad feeling when he heard yelling and shouting from down the alleyway.
He turned the corner to see a couple of demons surrounding a girl, almost certainly a fairy or pixie. He knew this because the glows that only Agares could see were different; a blood red for the demons and a blinding white from the pixie. He approached the group, and as soon as he got remotely close, one of them turned around to face him.
"Who are you? State your business!" The demon sternly muttered, his voice garbled and high-pitched.
"It's Agares, you fools. Remember?" As soon as he said that, the demons recognized him. They muttered among themselves.
"is it really you? We haven't seen you in, what, 1000 years?"
"Of course it is, you insignificant maggot. Move over, let me see who you're beating up here." Agares shoved them aside to see the trembling mystical posing as a human. "You guys, get out of here. I get first picks on this one." Of course, the other demons muttered among themselves, but they went away, leaving Agares alone with the small woman.
Standing directly in front of the person, a rages spoke in a strong intimidating tone, feeling powerful from the frightened look of the being before him. "Look. If you want to live, get away now. If you don't run for the hills, then I might as well do what those guys were going to do." Agares traced the edge of his knife while stepping aside. Of course, the pixie ran off immediately, leaving Agares alone. Knowing that the demons would return soon, he walked off, now noticing that Christopher was speaking up again. Oh well, he might have to do a killing spree another time.

Things weren't looking good for Christopher. He had tried to murder someone who had been carrying a concealed weapon, and it hadn't gone so smoothly. Now, Christopher was bleeding out on the sidewalk. As he silently cursed Agares for leading him into this situation, he hoped that someone would help him out as the rain washing away the blood from his bullet wounds started to make his head spin.
