 Leslie Opossun

"Oh my goodness."

Leslie was nervous, too nervous. Someone like boss sure was a reason to bring Leslie a big anxiety attack, but he also couldn't let him behind. Leslie thought "i could just leave and nothing would matter---right?" but he couldn't make himself leave. He couldn't leave someone behind, not even if they looked scary like boss did. "I'm sure you can punch a hole on me any time, but--please let me help you a bit"

Jey Walker PicklePantry

"Oh dear, oh dear," Jey sighed as he nervously sat near the couch, watching the man resting against it. He was on his way to work when he saw the young man stumbling in his step. It was clear he wasn't doing well, yet when the detective offered to help, the man refused to go to a hospital! Jey's detective instincts were flaring at that point, and the wound looked like it had some malicious intent behind it, but he pushed it to the back of his mind. Right now he had to make sure the man was okay, THEN he could worry about what happened.
Despite the young man's protests, Jey lead him to his house, giving him medicine that would both dull the pain and knock him out so that he could clean his wounds. With the young man bandaged up and soup heating up in the kitchen, Jey pulled out the man's wallet to get information and start piecing things together.

Neopolitain Storm_Clouds

Neopolitain looked down at the detective in moderate fear and disdain. She wasn't sure if it was right to bring the grown man, who was now hunched in the fetal position in the corner of her cave, into her small den. All she knew was that he needed help, as the multiple shallow, yet alarming, cuts on his body and wheezing cough spelled a malicious origin.

Neopolotain went outside temporarily, finding the small stash of herbs that were for emergencies like these. Since she was in her human form (and she planned to stay that way so she wouldn't be more suspicious to the man then she already was), the quick and slightly panicked breaths she was creating almost scared her.

She crawled back inside, after which she placed the herbs on a stone. She started a fire. When the flames roared high enough, she set the herbs with some water to boil in a small pot. As the concoction slowly bubbled, she scooched over, close enough that she would be able to talk to the man, bit far enough that he wouldn't be able to try anything sneaky. "So, care to explain how you got these unfortunate injuries?" Neopolotain casually asked.

Angelique mustelas

Angelique flew over her home, enjoying the feeling of snow rushing past her wings. Of course, not everyone was adjusted to it, but she wouldn't give it up for the world. Looking down, she saw many familiar trees, and...what was that? There was what appeared to be an rusty-orange figure curled up in the snow. Upon closer examination, Angelique deduced that it was some kind of...fox-human. She felt pity for the creature, so far away from its home. Not many could brave the freezing conditions. She lifted the limp creature gently in her mouth and flew it back to her cave.

When she arrived, however, Angelique realized that she hadn't a clue how to care for it. She decided to put it with her carcasses to keep it warm. Tasty carcasses had not failed her before, and they probably wouldn't now! Once the fox-human was awake, she could feed it one of her coveted carcasses. She usually kept them to herself, but this was certainly an exception...

Partycrasher (Shigeru Mori) Buzzkillchainsaw

"Awwww, pretty birrrd, pretty birrrrd..." Crasher whispered and kneeled down in front of the hurt bird-like creature lying in his path. He was just finishing up a mission when he saw a battle between two creatures up in the sky. One of them, seemingly defeated, fell to the ground. The creature had lost magnificent shiny feathers. Crasher picked some up, stuffed them in his pockets and directed his attention to the bird again. "What am I gonna do with you? I don't think Yuu will allow me to keep a pet..." He decided to ignore the voice of reason and called his spotter to help carry the creature home.

"Now don't make a noise.", he whispered as he bandaged the scratched wing. He was reminded of a time far away in his past where he found a little injured bird and nursed it back to health. He also remembered killing the cat that had hurt it. What a nice idea! "Mmm, that's exactly what I'm gonna do on my next day off.", he mumbled and nodded as if reassuring himself.

Lan Turner PicklePantry

Crasher would be half-asleep, barely conscious from his fever, most likely caused from the deadly injuries his body was currently healing from. Be it a hallucination caused from drowsiness or not, he felt strange. All he could see was darkness, and it felt comfortably cold. It was like he was floating through a void.
"You have always been cared for by the shadows, haven't you?" a velvet voice said. It sounded like it came from every direction. "Molded by the darkness that swallowed you, walking aimlessly yet confidently. You couldn't care less if there was a light at the end of that tunnel. An interesting life filled with interesting choices. Your abilities will heal what harms your body, but I will, at the least, help speed up the process."
Crasher closed his eyes, feeling himself drift to sleep as darkness blanketed him.
