What would you find on the OC above's computer?

Let's have a look...

What's on the OC above's computer?

...or phone or tablet or whatever.

Basically, if you were to log into the OC above's digital device/s, what do you think you'd you find?
36GB of memes? Budgeting spreadsheets? Government secrets? A million viruses?
What operating system would they use? What would their wallpaper be? Would their folders be neat and tidy, or would it be a total bombsite? What's copied to their clipboard? How many tabs to they have open? Whatever you can imagine!

(Even if the character doesn't have access to such technology in-universe, just imagine what you'd find if they did!)

Rules

  • You can respond to what you find IC or OOC, but make sure your post itself is set to IC, so we know who's computer we're poking through!
  • You can claim a spot, but be sure to fill your claim within 5 hours. If a claim goes unfilled for longer than that, you're free to skip the claimer and respond to the post above them instead.
  • This isn't an 18+ thread, so please keep suggestive content to a minimum. If you happen to find anything a bit seedy, make sure to black it out like this, or put it under a spoiler.
  • Try to give a response that's more than one or two sentences :'o give the kind of response u would like to receive....
  • Wait until two other people have posted before you post again, unless the thread's been stuck for two or more days.

Apart from that, go wild, and have fun!

Furfur Rorichi

"My my~ Somebody should learn to put passwords on their computers if they don't want others to learn about their dirty hobbies~" Furfur murmured leaning to the computer's screen "So, shall we uncover the misteries this cold and unloving piece of metal is hiding~?"

The screen was glitchy, preventing Furfur from clicking on the icon at first, but finally she managed to hit the right spot  spmewhere near the browser icon, making lots of web pages to pop out.

- A lot of sites dedicated to antiviruses and the viruses that can stay unnoticed by them

- A book about being good at sarcasm, almost the last page

- Some buggy sites that couldn't be opened

- Angsty Undertale fanfictions

Dr. Nicolai Ivanovich Kozlov RaikaiRan

Nicolai hacked the password of the laptop. It wasn't difficult because it was a weak password and he got access to the data easily. "What do we have here...," he muttered, searching throught the folders.

- He found a bunch of e-books from mystery novels to classics.

- Next, he discovered a list of TV shows that the person had watched or wanted to watch. He couldn't tell.

- The browsing history was complex and there was also a little secret  that he did not want to know.

- The desktop was clean, just a virus program and a few folders were found. In these folders were photos of the person in different clothes and dresses.

Juniper cosmicconundrum

he has:

  • approximately 2 GB worth of programming files, most of which are uncomplete.
  • a folder of just dog pics
  • 1 blueprint of his cyber parts
  • a folder/cd of old classical music
Roman Delgado AboveAspen

In hopes to find some juicy websites on Juniper's history log, Roman was quite disappointed when he found anything but. It didn't seem to matter how many pages he looked back, there was always some sort of link that took him back to the same small handful of Jazz songs. As if she had created a Jazz playlist of about six songs, and played them constantly. Aside from the Jazz music, and the odd search about deceased Jazz band members, there was the odd search of "things to do, when I've seen everything." Man, this woman must've gotten around, despite her slightly lazy demeanor. The most interesting thing that Roman could find, on her computer anywhere, had to be the bucket list document she had open at what seemed like all times. There were hundreds of items listed, most, if not all, crossed off. He might not have found anything particularly juicy about Juniper, but maybe learned something a little more...meaningful about her.

 Bonnie Opossun

It was pretty interesting to hack the computer of an actor. Bonnie always wondered what kind of things they would be interested, even thought he never had interactions with Roman. It was just him having a midnight curiosity. It was pretty easy to get access to it, so Bonnie didn't had to go trough a lot to put his hands on some of Roman's data. Taking a look at the content, he found:

- Lots of pictures of himself. Bonnie couldn't believe how someone could take so many selfies.

- Text Files named with keysmash like "osdigbsgk" or "asdfggh" with notes on characters he played as an actor.

- Old scenes that he played. He had it on video edited to only the parts he played.

((oh no, i got ninja'd! I'm gonna write something, claim! 0: ))

It was fun messing with other hackers. It was like some kind of game, like playing catch. In their case, it was like "who gets into each others computer first" but Bonnie didn't had intentions to destroy his computer or anything, he just wanted to "gift" Dan with a virus who did something dumb, like making a dancing monkey in the corner of the screen. It was like a victory to get on his computer and installing the monkey virus. But Bonnie, the dirty boy, was also too curious and decided to take a look at his things.

"Let's see what you got here, uh"

In Dan's computer, he found:

- Info about big business who cleary could use less money. Bonnie also do this kind of thing, so it wasn't such a surprise.

- More info about the implant. It was interesting, since Bonnie didn't knew about this kind of information, even thought he goes on robotics foruns and sees what's new.

- Emails. Lots of it. Bonnie cringed, he always deletes all his stuff. Bonnie thought about cleaning it for him, but he decided it was a bad idea.

In the end, Bonnie decided to do one last thing and changed his wallpaper for a picture of a banana with goggle eyes.

Haruka spacecadet

Many interesting things filled Bonnie's computer.... including...

-- A couple of mp3s of Thrift Shop. Looks like they really want to find the perfect one.

--Browsers that can access the deep web like uhh tor was it

--Listings for rabbit food on eBay. A bad habit.

--An unpublished question to an 'is it normal' forum. "Is chewing ice normal?"

Robi Tribal CaptainRobi

"Firstly the IP, then the password...ah yes, the good ol basic password, who would think "nyancat" be a "strong" password?" Robi hummed as he tapped in MEMZ computer remotely, from his main computer on board his ship and boy was he in for a shock.

The wallpaper was basically a nyan cat, an animated nyan cat with png files of memes scattered everywhere. There was also some streaming software hidden amongst them including ROBLOX tucked away in the corner.

"Whoever the f*** owns this PC must have a epileptic seizure at some point cos this screen is flashing ALL the colors of the f***ing rainbow at this point!" Robi instantly closed the connection and sighs loudly.

 Elrix Aarix

[uh oh, character is set to private at the moment! But that's ok we can still make this work :'v]

"Oh sick a hacking job! Totally got this one in the bag." She cracks her knuckles and pulls up a chair, hunching over the computer.
"Mr Robot, eat your heart out," She mutters, jabbing a thumb at the power button.

Elrix has been sitting at the computer for a good five minutes now, trying various passwords.

Eventually, she gives an exasperated huff, and decides to call it a day-- she's got more important things to do, like annoying her housemates. She seems unaware she's left her own computer unattended in the meanwhile...

Glade Langley YunaNoire

"Ehehe... I'm not really any good at hacking or anything, but... here goes nothing!"

Glade, by some modern miracle, is managed to get passed Boto's password screen and is lead to a rather sparse looking desktop, filled with very few programs or anything to speak of. Just a few documents and, of course, a deep web browser. Still, she seems to be more concerned with how boring everything looks at the moment as a frown has curled onto her lips.

"Awwww, what? This is as basic as it gets! Maybe I should change the wallpaper while i'm here..."

Indeed, without thinking, she looks through the few pictures there are on the machine to find a suitable wallpaper. Her face grows increasingly more concerned by the many drug related pictures on offer.

"Wow... uh! What is all this?! What kind of person owns this laptop?!"

Finally, she sighs as she finds a picture of a friendly looking dog, which she quickly makes the desktop wallpaper and exits out of the picture folder, a sigh escaping her lips. Her gaze then rests upon the documents laying about and the deep web browser sitting menacingly in the corner. On one hand, what little self preservation she has is raising every single alarm bell imaginable. On the other...

"Welp! Time to open these up!"

Much to her surprise, a lot of the documents and files seemed to be business related. As much as she tries to figure them out, she keeps getting bored and distracted, eager to open up the deep web browser. When she does... she stares open mouthed before exiting.

"I think... I should phone the police about this! Oh my god!"

Claude Altair

He noticed a computer, it was off but...

Well, to be honest he was... really curious about it.

He know spying is bad!! But...

"Just a quick look won't hurt."

He tried the first password that came to his mind, it worked!

Maybe she should change it.

Then there was what he found

1. Monster Hunter

2. Monster Hunter memes, a lot of them.

3. Various multiplayer games.

4. Are those meat photos? Looks tasty anyways.

5. Ah, another Monster Hunter related carpet.

6. Some video editing programs.

"So she is really a good girl, after all.'' He seems satisfied. Now it's time to flee, or he will be discovered.
