Terry stepped out of the gas station, a bag of burritos and chocolate hanging off his arm and a 44 oz of soda held by the same hand as his other hand searched for his car keys. He had just fished them out when he noticed the figure besides him, looking over an quirking an eyebrow. What was with the weird get-up? At this time of day? With this weather? They must be melting.
"Uh... You okay?" Terry mused. He blinked dully as the doctor confessed in a monotone voice. "A crush? I don't think I've ever met you, and trust me, I'd remember someone like you." He looked at his car, then at the doctor again. "Look, if I give you some of my chocolate will you stop this weird... try to heal me with love thing?"
@morbid-cutie
What an awkward drive home. Terry sighed as he climbed out of his car, locking it up and juggling his drink and snacks in his arm. He frowned deeper as he felt the lighter weight from losing a chocolate bar, but at least he didn't have to worry about-
He turned just in time to see the large, mysterious dog staring down at him intensely. He blinked a few times then looked around. Was this anyone's...?
And then she started talking. The dog started talking. And with a... a deep voice... Huh, it was kind of hypnotic. Terry was almost too mesmerized to realize what he was being told.
"W-Wait, you too?" he guffawed at the confession. Seriously, what was going on?? He wasn't attractive, he knew that, so why were people- creatures- saying they liked him?? "Look, I don't have time for this!" he grunted and dug into his bag to pull out a burrito, angrily handing it to the dog. "Here, just take this and forget I existed, okay? Sorry." He stormed off to his house, grumpy, tired, and confused. Ever since he started wearing that new cologne things had been wild!
He may have looked tired and empty inside, but honestly Terry was nervous, a feeling he hadn't felt in quite some time. In fact, there were a lot of feelings that were alien to him thanks to Rowen. And to think, all it took was collapsing from sickness and some jealousy to figure things out.
Terry wasn't one for playing the too-shy game. Now that he knew what he was feeling, he wanted it out in the open. If Rowen rejected him, well, at least he could cut it off before it grew like his colds. So the teacher stood there, arms crossed as he watched Rowen realized what had just happen. God, his throat felt really dry all of a sudden, and he felt hotter than normal. He hated these anxious feelings.
Look at Rowen fidget and search for his words. He was looking for a way to reject him, wasn't he? He knew it. Said he didn't care about Nikolai, but he did deep down, didn't he? Terry moved his gaze away from the gangster, sighing softly. "Look, you don't have to humor m- What?" He hesitated as he heard Rowen start to talk about accepting the feelings, even... even feeling the same way. The teacher pursed his lips. Was he hearing right? Rowen... felt the same way? He looked away again, this time out of shock. God, he felt cold and hot at the same time; his heart wouldn't stop beating so fast! S-So this was what it was like to like and be liked? That sounded childish, but it didn't stop him from smiling.
"Then I guess... I guess we should go on a date, then," he suggested as he got closer to the thug. "Don't worry, big guy, I don't expect you to lighten up about my eating habits. But I'm craving some of your cooking. Let's go pick up some groceries."
