The demon shrugged. "They don't bother me much. They never hurt me, so," They winced a bit. "Though sometimes they can get scuffed and dull. Usually I'll just polish them if that happens, which is kinda a pain, but it's no biggie."

"How'd you get a name like Robert?" Okay, he couldn't help himself. Sol sighed, then shrugged. "It's really quite boring, dear. Though I feel the need to point out... it's not Spanish, it's a... let's say reimagined version of my wife's family name. You see, back when I was human I did a lot of things people shouldn't be proud of. I didn't mind, but for the sake of my wife I used to use a different name, including her family name. And since Seol happened to become the fraction of a name most people used for me I just... kept it, after I died," he smiled briefly, "...at least my wife found it rather funny... though she suggested to change it to Sol, in order for it to be an actual new name. And who am I to disagree with her? Maybe it is my upbringing but I never was that attached to names. They don't mean much to me, so nowadays it is, I suppose, a keepsake." Maybe it was chaotic, but all things considered that was probably fitting.
(I hope this makes as much sense as it can make orz // I also want to mention that Sŏl was the romanization of Seol for a while before it was revised and Sol is not someone to constantly fiddle with his "newly" given name // answering this made me nervous tho bc I'm not sure if I am able to properly express my thought process x.x)
