 Milton Reeves Oyrso6rsrso66sro6r

"What is your favorite fish to go hunting for? My favorite is mostly salmon. I mostly eat it raw, how about you? Well- im assuming you probably wouldn't even know how to cook it."

Tarus ArtisticTiger

“Milton you look very nice with that style of hair. I must ask a question out of curiosity. I hope it doesn’t bother you. How much time do you dedicate to taking care of your hair?”

fizzelston

Tarus smiles at Xander. “My hat came tailored to me just like my suit. My wife thinks it looks very good on me. She’s grateful that the material it’s made out of is easy to clean. My children find it hilarious to steal my hat randomly..”

Xander Klingelhof fizzelston

Xander's fingertips traced the edges of the top hat and he smiled. "Oh, sir," he said. "This is a wonderful hat. Made out if the finest materials, I can tell! I can tell..." He let out his breath. "Oh, pardon me but where did you get it?" He asked Tarus. "Did a tailor made this especially for you or did you buy it somewhere?" The singer held out the hat to it's original owner. "I do apologize if this next question is too, personal, but I'm too curios not to ask... What do your children think of it? The hat I mean, sir. And your wife? Ah, you see, I remembered that when I was little I had this fascination with my own father's top hat." He laughed. Almost apologetically. "His sturdy hat surely had to endure some sticky toddler fingers," Xander confessed.

--

"Oh me? Oh I am flattered that words of my talent reach," Xander's eyes flicked towards Wredil's crown and he paused. "High valued ears," he added softly. "I am truly honored, especially now I know you're a singer yourself, sir."
Xander's smile froze for a second, but he eased as the king continued to speak. "Ah that is true! I do love him, I love him a lot. Life is going easy, for now.. But you'll never know what turns life takes, especially if your partner is some," he paused. Xander weighed his words carefully. "Outlaw."
Surprised by the question, Xander's eyebrows raised high. He smiled. A bit strained. "Ag well.. Our first meeting was when he decided to rob my house," Xander said. He couldn't help but chuckle at the memory, at the absurdity of it all. "My formal meeting with him was a few weeks later at a charity event."

👑 King Wredil (Humanized) MegiW

"Ah, Sir Xander, I've heard great things about your singing, would love to hear you sing one day. I do sing as well, but more as a hobby." Wredil approaches Xander, giving a gentle smile.
He then takes off his crown to fix his hair a bit. "I've also heard you have a partner Roswell, I hope life is going nicely for you two." Wredil then rubs his own beard for a moment, remembering what he wanted to ask. "I do wonder how did you two met each other?"

------------------------------------------

v "Ah, it was pleasure meeting you too, Your Majesty." Wredil let out a soft short chuckle as they both referred to each other as Your Majesty. "They would indeed, I'm sure of it." He adds.
As they walked to the stone balcony, King En looks at Wredil, and Wredil looks back, listening what En has to say. To that, Wredil smiled, it's true, death really is clingy around them two.

Both now looking over at the scenery, King En asks him a personal question, to which Wredil stopped for a moment, thinking, but not for long.
"Well... Mostly I like to be alone with my thoughts, to practice calming and comforting myself on my own. I try telling myself that things are gonna be alright, I try to remind myself of all the similar moments I managed to go through in past, I try to remember all the supportive words my friends and especially my wife gave me while resting my body." He says calmly, putting his forearms against the railing as well.
"Sometimes... I distract myself with various activities, from playing violin and singing, to exercise, training and sparring with my friends. Or just, observing the nature while taking a walk with my dear daughter, chatting with her, exchanging our troubles, comforting each other.
Sometimes... I will go visit my knight friends on the training field, or my friend Ice Lord Vilterol who is really great at giving me advises and reminding me to keep my chin up. He has a very good understanding on my troubles, as he went through similar, albeit worse, and gotten over it." He fixes his hair for a moment.
"How do I know that I'm doing the right thing... Well if I feel easier in my soul and body, feeling calmer, feeling ready for anything while not hurting anyone and without hitting myself so commonly after all that... Then I feel like I've done a right move." After finishing his answer, he looks away for a moment.
"Ah, sorry for such a lengthy answer En, Sometimes I find it tricky keeping myself short."

En Litari II ([King En]) PicklePantry

"It's been a pleasure meeting you, Your Majesty. You have a fine view of politics and firm beliefs. I'm positive both our kingdoms will work well together," En smiled while he walked with Wredil to a stone balcony. He glanced around to see if anyone was looking, besides security, then looked softer at the king. "If we're speaking off the record, though," he said under his breath. "I see a lot of similarities with you, especially with death. I guess death's too clingy to let us be with anyone else." He laughed, but it wasn't a strong one, nor did it reach his eyes.

En leaned his forearms against the railings and looked over at the scenery. "Keeping it in isn't helping. I think you know that better than anyone else. But you must also know how bad it is to let it out to the wrong person, right? So... I guess on a personal note, I'm asking what you do to get through things. How do you find ways to relax and calm down from all the stress and burdens? And... how do you know you're doing the right thing?"

You can reply to him, his younger self, or AU evil self!

En would have snapped at Quill to shut up or at least swatted at him like a fly, but he was too nervous to give any kind of rebuttal. Quill was right, too. No matter how many teachers he went through or how long he'd practice, his skills didn't get any fraction better. He still couldn't read music, he still couldn't keep a beat, he couldn't even tell you what a quarter note was.
He clamped his hands together, his knee bouncing impatiently. "I don't know..." he finally answered. "Allegro says that I should sing no matter how it'll come out, and that he'll help me, but..." He partially looked at Quill to see if he was actually offering to sing, but deflated when he heard the laugh. "It's supposed to be proof that we're royal. You've heard Allegro's voice, it sounds like there's instruments with him, or sometimes even other singers. That's something only a royal siren could do. If I can't do that, they'll think I'm not royal." He looked back down at his hands. His leg was bouncing even faster. What if it was true? What if he really wasn't a siren? Would Allegro think any differently of him if they weren't brothers?

En groaned and dumped his head in his hands. He felt like he was on the verge of a breakdown. Although Quill's joke did linger in his head. Someone singing in his place... If he could pull that off, people would think he's royal...

Quill Taeya

(going for younger En 👀)

"That weird singing tradition will take place soon, right?" Quill was leaned with his back against the wall and arms crossed, ominously standing in the shadow. Weirdo. "Are you nervous?... That would be no surprise." he remarked, with a deceivingly reassuring smile. "You trained sooo much, and yet your singing still sounds like a dying Penguin. Frustrating, isn't it?" That smile quickly turned smug. "You know, at some point you just gotta accept that you'll never be good enough. Even Allegro couldn't help you, and I mean..." He cleared his throat. "Clearly, all hope is lost."
Quill pushed himself off the wall and approached the other. "So, what are you gonna do? Are you really gonna go up there and embarress yourself in front of everyone? Even I can sing better than you... Maybe I should do it for you instead!" He wheezed and let out a little laugh, patting En on the shoulder. He let his hand rest there once he continued speaking. "I've been wondering, though. This tradition sounds very important. What will happen to you when they hear your awful voice? What do you have to lose?" This conversation would have potential to be wholesome if Quill was worried for En instead of amused by his crisis.

Quill scoffed. Of course that question would come to the surface. "The scars it leaves go beyond physical." he said hoped that's a satisfying enough answer. That was as much of his experience that he was comfortable with revealing, anyways.
The ocean of question marks that followed did not improve his mood, however. The outlaw let out an exasperated sigh. "It's always good to have information on potential enemies, isn't it? And my means to gather this kind of knowledge varies." He narrowed his eyes. "Asking a thousand questions at once is, however, not a good way..."

Soul ConfusedBiscuit

Soul thought for a moment, bobbing her head from side to side.

“Why do you hate blue fire, isn’t all fire just as destructive?” She shudders.

“Apparently, you also study people. Why do you do that, is it a curiosity thing or you trying to learn about your enemies? Or is it like a hobby. How do you do that? You got mind reading powers or something? Some kind of magic? Aura reading? Is it hard? Do you sometimes find out things you shouldn’t know? Like secrets? Have you ever found out a big secret? When did you start this?”

(jumping up and down bc you ready her lengthy  bio)

Soul froze for a moment at the sudden deepness of the question. She was reluctant to even talk about that, but nevertheless, she sighed and responded.

“Matsu hasn’t… spoken directly to me since then. So she hasn’t exactly clarified herself. I had planned on naming one of my children after Silver years before my son was born. I don’t think she was referring to that though. I think she had meant that he was somewhere in the afterlife. That’s the most likely conclusion, but knowing Matsu, she could mean something entirely different.”

“As for Gold, I told him. I told him everything that happened with Matsu. He is still my best friend after all. He loved Silver too, I needed to reassure him that it would be okay.”

 Amos confusedthing

^ of course I did! o:

"Have you ever found out what the claim that Silver will be okay meant? Surely it wasn't just you naming your child after a deceased friend, right? And did you ever tell Gold about it? What did he think about all of this?"

(Aaa it's so good to see you again!)

Nazar carefully followed Jordyn with his eyes, observing her every move. His trust in people was already nonexistent and she was no exception. There was no doubt she was beautiful, her soft yet elegant face, the wonderful long hair and a smile that was.. alluring but held a sense of danger that surely a lot of people found intriguing. Fortunately for him, he was not very superstitious and the last that one would send to charm him was a beautiful woman, he was merely observing from a distance. She almost looked too beautiful to be true, the pointed ears and sharp canine teeth giving her away. Not to mention the eyes, that were just a shade lighter than blood.
Even though he had heard her question numerous times it was unsettling to hear it from her lips.

"Well..." he took a deep breath, "Humans are certainly not the only thing I've encountered out at sea..." He wouldn't mention their undead crewmate, of course, but even the idiot with his detachable head was not the strangest thing he had ever seen - though he sure would have hoped so. "I have seen my share of.. unique creatures. Serpents." Nazar glanced back at Jordyn, "...if that's what you're asking."

Jordyn (Jörmungandr) Snowfallqueen

confusedthing

"I must give in to curiosity, my sea faring friend," The small woman began, her intense crimson gaze honed in on Nazar's fine features - a quiet battle of natural charms sparking between them.

"Out on the open waves, have you ever chanced a meeting with a creature from the deep?"

The question seemed harmless; the pale lady had not been the first to show interest in tales describing legendary sea creatures... But something about the glimmer in her serpentine smile warned a part of him deep down that the beautiful stranger knew something more than she cared to let on.

paramedic

The goddess smiled at the abashed stranger, a disarming charm to the gentle lift of her lips. Jordyn paused, looking for a way to answer her query, nodding her platinum head in silent consideration.

"I do play many instruments, and I dabble in singing," she began, a falsely humble look upon her delicate features, "-though I am far from educated in the subject. I merely learned through self practice..." The serpent trailed off, leaving out the fact that she'd had more than plenty of extra time to develop those talents -- she'd borrowed those countless hours from others, after all.

"I'd say that I enjoy stringed instruments most. Particularly, the harp." Tucking a silken lock behind her ear, the pale lady gestured to a nearby bench. The oaken seat rested beneath the shade of a small tree, rays of gentle sunlight filtering through the leaves from above.

"I've time enough to spare for a song, should it please you."

Empress muichiro

Snowfallqueen

"Uhm.." Empress tugs on the hem of her shorts, almost as if trying to pull them lower. There were beautiful women everywhere she went, but this woman was the pinnacle of societal beauty. She was shorter than average, pleasantly petite with a gorgeous frame, her long, draped hair was dazzling in the fixture of lighting and her face was perfectly proportional. Truly. There wasn't a thing wrong with her! "You mentioned you were a 'songstress', r-right?" That was a musician, surely. "Does that mean you sing at concerts? What do you like to sing?! W-wait, do you have any videos of it I can listen to?!"

 Mary fizzelston

Mary fidgeted with her hands. She gently pressed her fingers against each other as she half look at Empress and half looked away.
"Empress, ha," she laughed. Snorted. Then frowned at her own sounds. " Is it difficult? To carry a name with such a high... Expectation to it?" Mary finally looked at the other woman. She still had that frown on her face, but the corners of her lips started to curl. "I mean a defender... People expect things from you. Can you cope with that?" Mary's smile finally broke fully through, and she laughed apologetically. "I mean. I only have my sheep to care for. They don't expect a lot from me, beside some food and that I shave them. I wonder what it's like to actually help society, you know. L-Like you do!"

--

"Oh.. You're right, I can't really talk about my transformation," she muttered. Mary looked down for a second. Avoiding Vil's gaze. "It isn't a nice story anway." Her shoulders ease and she looked back up at the other question. Mary started to smile again. At least Vil didn't sound like he was mocking her.
"Oh, yes, they can be an annoying! They make my neck so sweaty in the summer," she laughed. Mary gently placed her hand for her mouth in a polite gesture and failed attempt to cover up her big smile. "I can! It mostly goes automatically, though. Like moving your legs. Or, actually, moving your fingers all at the same time. It gets hard if you think about it." She thoughtfully rubbed her chin at the following question.
"It's handy when I'm knitting," Mary admitted sheepishly. "Or cooking. I don't think I can live with just two hands any more. I can multitask so many things!" She shook her head. "It's fine! Really. I rarely get visitors here, and I like answering questions," she said. "But I like icecream even more."

❄️Vilterol MegiW

"My my, you radiate quite an interesting aura." Vil tells Mary after observing her, he almost mistaken her for one of the sea folks from Ocean Kingdom.
"I would ask how did you turn out like that, but you seem like someone who doesn't like to reveal such information." Vil says that after noticing her tight-lipped smile as she was mostly looking away in secretiveness and shyness.
He rubs his beard for a moment and takes a good look at her tentacles. "So I will ask this... do those tentacles around your neck get annoying sometimes? And are you able to control all of them at the same time? Has there ever been any situation where they were very useful?" Vil curiously asks. "Hah sorry for so many questions, I'm a curious old man! Anyways, up for some ice cream?"

--------------------

v - "Ahaha, many assume I'm made of ice, that would be quite inconvenient, yo boi gotta be stronger than that hehe." Vil chuckled. UNO then asks him a next question and after hearing it out, he answers. "I do not get cold due to cold temperature not being able to affect me that way hehe, I also can't get any other sickness as well due to being an immortal, pretty cool ay-" Vil rubs his beard while looking down at UNO.

Uno Aloofcloud

Fox ears completely perked up as Uno studied the absolute giant before him.  His features were rather- icy were they not? Uno circled the king, eyes wide with fascination as a giant grin appeared on his face. "Woah! Are you a Yeti? You kind of look like you're made of ice, but also fur?" He paused in his tracks, tail flipping about as Uno seemed to be trying to think of the answers to the questions he just asked.

Then, another thing came to mind. "Eh, do you get like, cold or anything? Hard to imagine getting cold with how icy you look." Well...he had most certainly asked more than on question but it was fine, Vilterol had all the time in the world to answer.

Nikolai Byko PicklePantry

"My, now isn't this a sight? A kitsune-- an old one, no less." Nikolai studied Uno for a moment before grinning. "And a magic-less one~" He made sure to pronounce it very slowly, tauntingly. "Yes, well, I imagine you've no interest in it any longer. Aren't you at least curious as to why you didn't get them, dearie? Hmm, but I suppose something like that isn't what you'd be willing to talk about, yes? Let's change the subject then, to your many, many ex-lovers~" He grinned once more and tucked a fist under his chin. "I understand what it's like to have many playthings, darling, but tell me, has there ever been at least one that nearly slipped through the cracks? Oh, and you must tell me about your spurned exes. Any that have come for revenge yet?"

"My, what a mess your mind is. You ask me about substitute teaching to war trauma all in one breath?" Nikolai mused with a quirked eyebrow. "Substitute teachers get paid for each day they work, darling. If I'm there for at least one day, I get paid that day. It's not too challenging a concept, hmm?"
He didn't seem interested in entertaining the last question, much less the person asking it, though somehow still found an idea of how to reply. "What a strange thing to ask. I feel as though you believe I was a substitute teacher before becoming a Sin...? No, dearie, I was an overworked factory worker back until I was dragged into the gulags by force. The person I love was the one who chose the war, that's the only reason I went in-- for him. If I'd the choice, I'd prefer never going to a gulag or being overworked and underpaid. So no, dearie, I don't miss a single thing. Gracious, what a headache you've given me."

Dahlia Marshall Vapor

"If you're a substitute teacher--" Dahlia was quiet for a moment as she stared at Nikolai. When she continued, she began sounding more confused an uncertain of her own question than the man himself. "..How do you even get money if you're out of work so often? ..That's what substitute teachers do, right? I wouldn't know much about it, I don't think. It's just -- well, do you think you miss it? Miss it at all, how things used to be? War ain't pleasant talk, I know that much, but what about your man? You'd choose the war for him again, wouldn't you? It's certainly no babysitting work, at least."

"If only you will play for me." Dahlia replied gently to Nahm'jehl. She had been letting the boy follow her around for some time, and hadn't gotten much other than his music and a few snide remarks -- mainly from Sterling, so she tried to keep the boy away from him. "Just remember to play them a bit off to the side," she then added, getting up from where she sat at her mirror, "So you won't disturb the workers."

Dahlia paused at his question. "There's about... two teenagers younger than you. Just a year younger, they should both be around your age soon enough." she answered, "There's Maribelle, but I don't think you should talk to her. She doesn't much like anyone except her ward. There's also Gabriel. Same age as you, and he'll be seventeen... I think at the end of the year? Only Cassidy's much of a soldier, though. Gabriel and Maribelle just handle and restock supplies that are coming in, like I do. Just stick to the boys, really. They'll love you!"

She hadn't much of an opinion on his offer of becoming a soldier. She supposed it would all depend on if someone was willing to teach him, but... Well, she wished more boys would stay out of it.

"I know a thing or two about fighting, but I'm just not as good as the men." Dahlia said simply. She never really thought of herself as strong as them in the first place. "If only you want the exercise, I can train with you. I've a dirk somewhere..."
