( mistieko sorry if some things are inaccurate/short here; the character doesn’t have anything on their profile other than a ref image so i tried my best to go off of the image @_@ also srry for merlin being a little dumb here, that’s just him being picky LOL)
Today, Merlin would learn a valuable lesson: Never borrow clothes from some rando who is more akin to a supernatural deity than a regular human being. Even though his actual clothes became tattered from a rough fight just hours ago. It’s not that it’s that bad of a thing, but such a style of clothing didn’t fit the scarred man, not one bit. It was just too… ‘pure’ for him, for a lack of a better word. The thick fur on the upper torso and shoulders was starting to itch at his skin the longer he had it on, and it was clear that this wasn’t exactly the best choice for him.
Really, thin and short clothing wasn’t his style. Much of his larger scar was exposed, while it would be nice to cover it up, he didn’t mind it too bad. At least the wing motifs on some of the ornaments, as well as the few patterns scattered about the pieces were kinda cool.
“Y’know what… You can have this stuff back, I’m not in such a dire need for a change of clothes.” The ex-Marine shook his head, carefully taking of the thin white scarf from his shoulders. “I think having footwear would be more suitable for me, anyways. But that’s just me. By the way, don’t these clothes bother you sometimes? Like, what if they get caught in something, like a door? Or what happens if this stuff just flies off in the wind?” Now that he asks these kinds of things, he probably sounds a little stupid, yet he still asks with genuine curiosity.
Regardless, he wouldn’t be keeping the clothes on any longer anyways; he’d rather just keep the beaten up clothes that he was originally in.

@np Merlin’s clothes are pretty easy to figure out; scarf (sometimes), leather jacket, dress shirt/tie/pants, combat boots. He is tall so his clothing may be kinda big on y/c if they’re smaller obv
