Game is simple! Your OC orders a coffee, cappuccino, milkshake, etc. for the OC above them! You could also order a pastry or whatever if you really felt like it, too.

Simple, see? Start with Beiter, please!

Spark Iskra Kvroii

^^^ SDFGHDFGHJG OMG HONESTLY HE HAS EVERY REASON TO HATE HER, DRAGGED INTO A FUCKING STARBUCKS FOR A WATER I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIMMMM

At first she suspected Haru of being the catalyst for a new world, like the others she sought out. Compared to most, he had a certain level of conviction and unusual qualities that Spark thought she had to keep an eye on, but when a new world didn't emerge, she realized she had been wrong this time.

It must have been unsettling to be followed and watched, as Spark still didn't take much interest in concealing her intent, and so she decided a cover story would be her best choice to cause little trouble. There was a Starbucks nearby, and it was a hot day, and even this man would become thirsty, right?

She took Haru's hand loosely but suddenly. "I was watching you. My apologies. I thought something was..."

Well, it would be the truth--

"...wrong. But I think it's too hot out, and maybe I thought you would get dehydrated. Come in."

The short woman pulled Haru into the Starbucks despite his protests. It was the opposite of the easy departure she intended, but the had one more thing on her mind even with her first theory disproven.

"You handle suspicion well. Why is that?" Spark asked, with little regard for the etiquette of such matters, or for Haru's distaste at the establishment. "Is it because you're confident? No, that can't be all, there must be more to you under the surface."

She made a quick deduction at Haru's insults at the Starbucks and decided that his reason for hating it wasn't from a place of baseless mockery. Was he... insulted somehow? She never was sure of such matters, but a wrong guess in the right direction was better than none at all if she wished to understand, even for a moment. Whatever Haru mentioned next would be closer to a solid reason.

"Oh, so that's it. You can make better coffee. It's a long way to go in this heat, though. Also... I don't have money, so I was just going to get you a water. I hope that's better," she said, and gave her order to the barista at the counter. She handed Haru the iced water.

He's so forward, but there's something more to him. Still, he's not the one I was looking for, so it's best if we part ways now, before I learn what more there really is.

@ np, Spark isn't familiar with Starbucks, so she'll be impressed with anything you get her! Only problem is, she has a hard time admitting if she likes something, so she would probably act somewhat cold and downplay her interest, even though she's not hard to see through and she really would come to like it.

vvv Aaaa thank you!! This is wonderful!!

Jan-Paul Jansen fizzelston

Kvroii
"You don't seem to be impressed," Jan-paul said. He couldn't help but blink as he looked into Catherine's white eyes. He held up two drinks. Blue, pink, Starbucks coffees. Unicorn frappes or so he'd been told. It sounded classy. Royal. Just like him.

Jan-paul thought he'd hit the jackpot with this display, but Catherine's reaction was calculated. Cold.
"I-" Jan-Paul started as he sat down across from the host at an unstable outside-placed Starbucks table. "- thought you would like it." He placed one of the drinks before her and sipped from his own. Oof. Jan-Paul suppressed a shiver. Sugary.
"It's my favourite," he lied between his gritted teeth. It was the most expensive drink on the menu. Therefore it must be good.
"So, Carherine," the emphasis in the way he spoke her name was harder and rough. Focusing mostly around the 'a's and 'e's in her (adapted) name.
"What brings you here?" he asked. For a brief second Jan-Paul couldn't help but stare into her white eyes. "Here," he repeated. Using his fingers on his free hand to point down. "At this coffee shop."

Jan-Paul leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs. He tried to look preplanned and smart as he sipped from his pink swirly drink.
"I am here -" he said as his gaze shifted toward his drink and he started to, (as impressively as possible ) poke around in it with his straw. "- because it's expensive. Good coffee is always expensive. I collect their mugs too, you know." He looked at Catherine from behind his drink. Dogging the other for sóme kind of recognition. (He actually, probably, missed her more subtle and not subtle social cues.) "Those mugs are small art pieces on their own. Pricey little art pieces. They tell us about the world we live in. You know?"

 –

For no: Jp would collect those 'you are here' Starbucks mugs. Please use this as an excuse to describe one that's based on your oc's world-setting, or the place your OC lives. Because I (th-user Fizzelston) love that set of mugs.

(A reay small mug centered follow up 🙏 because I don't have the energy for a big boy follow up. But I love the mug. I need the mug.)

Zuri was right. Sometimes Drakenburg's Benefactor and Keeper of the Gold was easy to please. He grinned. Baring his sharp teeth. Jan-Paul pointed at the mug in his hands. "Such a wonderful piece," he spoke with genuine joy. "It has the castle and everything!!"

Zuri Delgado Vapor

Zuri heard a lot of Jan-Paul, albeit less from his ventures as a businessman -- she cared little for her liege's dabbling in such things and only tended to them for the sake of her own "work" -- and more from... his... she didn't want to say they were anything more than friends, but he had been spending quite a bit of time with the lord's concubine, a dear friend of hers. The courtesan liked him, but Zuri, naturally distrustful, had been scrutinizing the taller man through a narrowed eye. Or maybe that was just how she usually looked. Nevertheless, she didn't look happy about the whole situation, playing babysitter for the lord and his lesser lady, escorting the easterling here and there and everywhere that caught his interest. Such as... a coffee shop.

Coffee was okay. Just okay. Zuri didn't mind either coffee or tea, and she didn't much like energy drinks, and caffeine tended to make her anxious, but he insisted on collecting... mugs. She didn't even know Starbucks sold fancy mugs, nor that they... sold...

..What kind of interdimensional bullshit was this.

Zuri stared blankly at the mug Jan-Paul pointed out -- one depicting the great castle of Sauveterre among peach orchards and vineyards and bell towers, tiny horses grazing in the background fields. After a long silence, mesmerized by the existence of the mug, the older woman glanced suspiciously at Jan-Paul. Were these mugs always here? Who made these? Was this... legal?

"I think a quick drink would help you perk up." Then, she sniffed. "It isn't much, but I'll... look, I'll buy the mug for you, and an americano. Just a tall, yes? Or... do you want something else? Something to eat? Here... why not an egg sandwich? Do you like eggs? ..Or fruit?" He had to like fruit, right? Or juice? Something sweet? She felt she could not glean much from Jan-Paul, but at the same time he seemed so... simple. Easy to please, and yet difficult to please. This was so hard on her.

"..Must I order more?"

Terry Lawrence PicklePantry

Terry tilted his head at Vivian. This guy looked tired, more tired than him, and that was saying something. But his tired had some kind of danger to it, an edge. It was like he was tired from being on the run or being in fights, maybe both. It was also the kind of tired that didn't make him sluggish; he could handle another fight if needed. Damn, how do people do it?

"If you're looking for a strong drink, they're not normally on the menus," he advised his weary companion while rubbing his neck. "Hidden menu items. Usually made by the staff. They've worked here long enough, they know their stuff. Here, you can try the same thing I'll get." He turned to the barista and ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte with four espresso shots. "You'll start feeling that by the end of your first sip. No need to thank me."
