Rules:

1: You must post as your OC

2: If you are only gonna scream, at least make it funny and not just screaming. Example: *screams in fanboye*

3: You may make your interactions as long as you like. This includes but is not limited to speech, actions and reactions

4: Keep it clean please, I don’t think I’d wanna do dirty things to someone who jump scares me from behind!

5: All characters are accepted!!!

6: Once you’re interaction is finished, you must type at the bottom “I’m behind you...” or another varient that gives out the same message so that the next person may interact using their OC. To shorten your text, look for the symbol that has the T and an arrow pointing upwards and downwards. Shortening the text is now optional.

7: Please wait at least 2-3 posts after your post or 24 hours after the most previous post.

8: The only exception to your OC interacting with another one of your OC’s is if it has been 24 hours since you posted and no one else has posted during that 24 hour period.

9: Art of your interactions is okay but I cannot allow NSFW that would be rated adult (e.g. sexually explicit) under any circumstances, this would ban you from this thread. Anything that would be rated mature (e.g. nudity, bulges for males or nipples for females) however should only be sent privately to the user you intend to draw art for, they must be 18+ to be sent mature artwork and you must have their permission before you can draw their character at a mature rating. Failure to ask permission beforehand would be a warning if the reciever is already over 18 or a ban from this thread if they are under 18.

10: Swearing is fine, just be careful on how you use your words, like, try not to offend anyone in real life, yeah?

11: If a comment has been deleted, keep calm and move on. Don’t worry, you’ll still get a reply!

Cerys Finch (Resonant Remnants) HardyLark

Cerys lets out a startled noise as she feels someone bump into her back, papers that had been clutched in her hands fluttering into the air. She catches some of them, but the rest she has to pick up off the stone road. After she does this she straightens and looks behind her, slight irritation on her face.

A somewhat heated retort dies on her tongue as she sees Emlyn already bowing apologetically. Cerys immediately looks startled and perhaps a bit embarrassed, and gently reaches for Emlyn’s arm to try and stop her from bowing.

“Ah no no, it’s fine! It was just an accident! Don’t bow for me please.” She says quickly pulling her hand back and shuffling the papers in her hand. If Emlyn rights herself, Cerys gives her a smile and chuckles lightly.

“Just maybe watch where you’re going next time? These streets are pretty busy this time of day.” The researcher hums, before turning and walking away, presumably to the nearest archive or library.

Cerys comes out of the doorway with her nose buried in a rather large map. She looks around for a moment before spotting the stranger. The researcher approaches them from behind, tapping their shoulder to get their attention.

“Excuse me, do you know this area well? I think I’ve gotten myself extremely lost.”

eggsdeviled

They turned and stared at the absurdly tall woman. “…Hm..?”

”Well, I would say I recognize this area decently. But not decent enough to become a tour guide for wanderers to throw their money at.“ Hibiki got up from where they sat.

They let out a sigh of grief as the eyehole in the mask showed to be careless, “Listen, I’m not sure where you are heading. But if anything, I’m not really the person you should be asking for this kind of information. I don’t know how I can help but.. Good luck on your travels nonetheless.” They put their hand on your shoulder comfortingly.

Hibiki whispered under their breath, ”Maybe I should find my way out of here too..”

—————————

You here a faint voice from behind you whilst walking through a hallway brightened  by a dim light;

“I’m behind you... Hello? Are you going to respond or something?”

Pachi zidanetribal

Pachi was making their way to the bathroom just to wash their hands off and fix themselves in the mirror. This was one awful place to just do the simple acts of such things; the hallway was dim and only two flickering lights illuminated the path before him. Why couldn't he have just got hand sanitizer and used his phone camera? Too complicated, he thought. Maybe it would've been less complicated, though, as Pachi now heard a ghostly voice behind his shoulder. He flinched for a moment, but put on the same blank-ish face he usually bore and turned to face the apparition.

"...Can I help you? Why are you looking at me like that?" Pachi asked, tilting his head. "I'm just trying to go, uh, freshen up. Were you trying to find the bathroom in this place too or something? Just follow me down this way. We'll, uh, find it together... Yeah."

While aimlessly tossing a toy about the claw machine before you, you feel your shirt being tugged on; there's a surprising bit of force to it. "You've been trying to win that thing for 40 minutes. Why don't I help you win it, if you're not already short of coins...? There's a line piling up for this thing anyways, so better win it now."

Caelestis Solaestial

Caelestis' intense focus finally snapped at the unexpected tug at his shirt. A youthful sounding voice followed, and he slowly turned his attention to the one behind him. Wait, it'd been… how long…? His gaze averted, accompanied by a few embarrassed coughs as it all began to sink in. These contraptions had seemed simple enough—but why? The fact that he'd been spending so long playing a kid's game in attempt to obtain what was clearly intended to be a kid's toy wasn't a thought he liked to linger too long on already, but it didn't even make sense! It was so basic! A computer game was one thing, but these had been around for decades. He should be able to handle this much, right? Well… that's what he'd thought, at least.

At Pachi's words, he paused to dig through the money pouch that had been emptying at a depressingly quick rate. After taking out a few more coins, Caelestis tucked it back into his shirt, and looked back to the other party. Alas, sometimes it was best to just admit defeat. "I... would appreciate that," he chuckled, quietly stepping aside.

Caelestis took a moment to assess the harbinger of his salvation while they got going with the controls. A kid, by his standards certainly, but old enough that it didn't seem like he'd have to worry about the levels of torment those younger would usually provide. Caelestis rubbed his chin in thought. Rather, they gave off a somewhat listless impression. And unlike him, they actually looked like someone who belonged in a place like this. He suddenly felt all the more aware of how blatantly he stood out here. Hah…

"It's a very engaging game, isn't it?" He commented leisurely. And incredibly frustrating, but that he did not so readily voice. "I must admit, the relentless passage of time left my mind near entirely all that while. It's a challenge like little I have encountered in many years. But my," his eyes observed the movements intently, "you're good at this! Have I been graced by the presence of a master? The precision, the skill—It's as if sheer sorcery itself!"

Though even despite his almost irritatingly ceaseless praise all the while, the sensation of at last holding the plush he'd worked for so hopelessly for so long in his arms—that Pachi had obtained for him near effortlessly—left Caelestis staring wide-eyed. Ah. Snapping himself back to reality before too awkwardly long at least, he stared for another moment longer in thought. He had to thank them somehow, didn't he? What did kids like?? Frantically, while ensuring not to drop the plush that had finally been attained, Caelestis dug out the pouch once more. Half the money left in it was placed decidedly into Pachi's hands. Although at this point it wasn't as much as it would've been. "As thanks," he elaborated lightheartedly, and turned to leave cheerfully back through the entrance.

Outside the arcade, he looked back down at the plush. It was an impulse goal to begin with, so now the question was, what exactly to do with it…

Scurrying away in the darkness of the night from some less-than-ideal trouble he'd gotten into, Caelestis swiftly turns a corner into a seemingly secluded alley and stumbles blindly into the back of someone standing in his path. "Pardon," he apologizes reflexively, though a slight chuckle can be heard in his tone still. In the next moment, feeling his body tipping backwards from the impact, his arm, with nowhere else in reach, instinctively grabs onto the other party's clothing for stabilization. Ah.

"...Sorry." He chuckles some more, guiltily releasing the grip. To not only bump into someone, but to also nearly drag them down with him into a fall right after wasn't exactly the best look... Whoops.

Nevertheless, finding no reason to continue so hurriedly on his way anymore—seeing as any pursuers should've been shaken off by now anyway—Caelestis instead steps back to get a better look at who he'd just run into. It had been difficult to tell there was someone there quickly enough in the darkness just then, but with enough focus now, he could still see what was around him well enough.

Illanya Mariold HardyLark

Illanya never really enjoyed these late-night patrols. They were boringly long, and as of late, uneventful. Even with her ability to see better in the dark than her other companions, there was nothing ever really worth watching. She sighs, glancing around for a moment before stopping in the alley and rummaging through her pack.

"It's not like anyone will notice..." The knight mutters to herself as she pulls her pipe and a small sack of dried herbs. Truthfully, she'd taken to her pipe on most quiet nights like this... took the edge off, especially when her thoughts proved to be too loud. She's so engrossed in preparing her pipe that she doesn't hear the sounds of a chase growing closer and closer.

The paladin has scarcely lit the thing and tried to take a draw from it when something strikes into her back. The shock is enough to send her into a fit of coughing, smoke leaving her mouth in erratic poofs. Worse yet, she feels something catch on the back of her cloak and pull her back, causing the wheezing knight to stagger backwards.

She's quick to right herself, whirling around to face what exactly in the world had nearly knocked her over, her gloved hand resting on the axe at her waist.

"What, in the hells is going on?" Illanya manages to choke out, though the rest of her words die on her tongue as her gold-green eyes rest on the being behind her. She'd assumed it was probably a pickpocket or something in the vein, but the way he was dressed and, of course, the fact that he apologized and hadn't even tried to run from a knight was telling. The hand on her axe relaxes, and she lets it fall to her side. With the other, she readjusts her grip on her smoking pipe and taps it to her mouth.

"Ah, it's alright. It's not exactly easy to see this time of night." The paladin muses, occasionally more controlled coughs escaping her as she tries to clear her throat. "Er, off to somewhere in a hurry this time of night, huh?" Illanya tilts her head curiously, watching Caelestis with an equal measure of weary curiosity. She's not sure what it is, but something about him is familiar, in some odd instinctual way. The knight smiles gently and raises her free hand.

"Oh, you're not in trouble or anything, I was just curious..."

The knight clears her throat looking to the figure in front of her and to her destination. She'd come here to try and remedy a very specific problem in the town and she intended to do it as soon as she can. Of course, she wasn't going to be impolite and push someone out of the way just to get there.

"Excuse me, I just need to get to that tree there." She points past them to the oak tree in the center of the square. Once past them, she walks to the tree and rests a gloved hand on it's trunk.

"You come here often, or are you a traveler as well? " Gentle curls of green magic rise from her hand, the paladin looks the other up and down for a moment before smiling jokingly,

"I know it's a nice tree and all, but I could see you staring at it for the past fifteen minutes."

 Gloomy moving-accounts-26

Usually, it was Gloomy appearing behind people unnoticed and uninvited, not the other way around.

So when this little creature suddenly broke the peace and quiet around him, having somehow snuck around him without making a sound, he couldn't say he wasn't startled. The shadowy figure bent his head around instantly to look at whatever had approached him, body stretching away from them in a way not unlike one would look when trying to avoid the touch of a stranger. Tendrils had risen from the pool at his feet, pointing at Wilt, almost like a warning to keep away.

The entity took a good look at them with wide, startled eyes before he could finally determine they weren't a threat at all. His natural curiosity took over, and he once again moved, now trying to get to know this new person by getting all on his face.

-------------

The entity stuck there for the whole time, silent, eyeing as you went on with your day. The lives of others were quite interesting, he just didn't know looking from so close wasn't usually looked well upon.

Tarus ArtisticTiger

Tarus felt a powerful presence behind him. He was cautious but not intimidated. He turned around and sniffed. The scent of his stalker was strong. "I do hope you are enjoying your observations," He spoke to the shadows and smiled. "If your intention is sinister I'd prefer to talk it out instead of fighting, I would hate to harm anyone" He tipped his hat at Xil and smiled, then e continued on his way.

Tarus loves to observe others while they are doing something. He tries to look less intimidating despite being a very tall monster. Typically he doesn't watch for too long because he doesn't want to seem creepy.

📈🍖felix scizor

"hey! you there!"

felix yelled out at the stranger in a comical manner, since she didn't bother to turn around. she caught on to the presence behind her quite quickly, her senses being sharper than that of a normal human, or demon, for that matter.

"you know, you could just come and talk to me instead of watching from the shadows like a little creep! i bite, but i also bark! we could talk it up or something. what do you want anyway..?"

she said, finally turning around, one of her hands scratching her face as she gave the monstrous presence a onceover. her deadpan puzzled face contorted into a grin.

"heyy, nice hat.. i like the way you look," she suddenly switched the subject, her mind wandering like it usually does. "i wanna go get ice cream. you in?"

felix was watching someone carefully, her dangerous aura contrasting greatly with what she was planning to do. slowly, but surely, she crept up, and..

"BOO! heh, did i scare you?"

 Misk’ya _kaylarts_

"AH!" Misk'ya chirped with a jump, his head darted to look behind him at the girl. "Oh," he said, smiling slightly.

He seemed a little relieved, maybe he had expected to see something frightening. And the girl didn't seem to have an aura of ill intentions.

"You startled me," He laughed softly and patted Felix on the shoulder.

Misk'ya glanced around the area, still unsure of why she had suddenly appeared. When he found there was nothing suspicious going on around them, he returned his gaze back to her with a fond smile.

"So, did you need something?" He asked. "Or did you just want to scare me for fun?"

"Hello!!" Misk'ya said to the stranger. "Have you seen two horned fellows around here? I think I've gotten a bit lost, they were supposed to meet up with me, at a pub....? I don't know which one it is though..."

The stranger didn't respond, so Misk'ya tried again, thinking they had not heard him. "Hello?" He said again, tapping them on the shoulder, and speaking slightly louder than before.

Andrina ArtisticTiger

Andrina had felt a presence behind her and she turned around. She smiled. “Oh hello sir! I had a feeling someone was behind me.” I love your dyed hair! It’s so nice. I’m on my way to re dye my hair right now!” She gave Misk'ya a wave. “We’ll I have to get going. Watch where you go. There’s been reports of dangerous criminals around these parts.”

 Zoey Audlien

Zoey had noticed that someone was behind her way before that person might of known that Zoey was in front of her, the scarecrow slowly turned around to see Andrina vividly curious about her. Andrina had been writing down notes about Zoey, observing her attentively, Zoey didn't mind it, she knew that other creatures found her to be a curiosity, what with her green skin and limb-like hair.

"...hi...." Zoey muttered, her body remaining perfectly still as she stared back at Andrina. Zoey's hair started to move around curiously, similar to the mandibles of a spider. She leaned one of them over to slightly tap Andrinas notebook. "...why...write?"
