This is the first official Zodai I created, after my own personal ones. I started on them a while back, but just recently got around to finishing them! They have era one ears!
The following is a guideline for how astrology plays in to a Zodai's appearance, personality, and magical ability. You don't need to follow the lore, but it'd be neat if you do! All information is based on a randomly drawn natal chart.
☉ Sun: ♈ Aries [shy and reserved, emotional, cares deeply about those close by]
Rising Sign: ♑ Capricorn[seen by others as conservative and bookish, standoffish or cold]
☽ Moon: ♈ Aries [contradicts emotional nature of Sun, making it easy to think with logic first; can see own emotions as weakness whilst caring for others]
Birthstone: Diamond [birthstone gem is the center of their being, and contains their magical essence; if the gem breaks, the Zodai will die]
Magic Metal: Bronze [if a Zodai has one, this will protect the birthstone with an unseen forcefield of protective magic]
Traits include: Bun legs (common), neck floof (uncommon, a result of Capricorn + Aries), common ears + goat-like tail (tail comes from Capricorn rising), a magic metal-protected birthstone (uncommon), and (small) ram horns (comes from Aries).
Lesser Signs, but still relevant to personality traits:
☿ Mercury: ♓ Pisces [emotional and intuitive with communication]
♀ Venus: ♈ Aries [bold and impulsive with love/friendships]
♂ Mars: ♐ Sagittarius [wise with managing anger/conflict]
