Beware on DizzySoap - ghosting payment

5/1/24 - BooberryCherry has changed their username to DizzySoap (old users BooberryCherry, L-Bug, BuddyBugs, PuppyChews, CrayonCastels, Nintendant, LuckyMisocat, nyunyushrimp, MilkyMiso, MuddyRoach, CredeeKitty, Vampoft, VampSuger) ,,

be cautious still since they're still offering on characters

7/18/22 - adding to the thread rather than the comments cause I think it's important but, they've ghosted someone out of $100 as recently as this friday/saturday (15-16th) so PLEASE be cautious still

so i figure i should make a beware after finding out they have ghosted someone else on payment for adopts they see on the trade listing and ghosting them for about over a week with no explanation as to why they haven't sent payment other than saying they have been busy.
over a week ago they offered $50 on an adopt i had put up on the trade listings
after i accepted their offer and sent them my paypal link to pay, they never sent payment.
i waited 2 days before msging them again asking them if they were still interested since they never sent payment and they said they were !
again, they didnt send payment.

i saw them offering over $100 on other people's adopts while they still have not sent the payment for mine so i msg'd them again
(btw they didnt send this person the payment either and the person sold the character to someone else)

basically a very vague answer/explanation and STILL had not sent payment so i ended up putting the character back up for offers and letting them know
to which they never responded.

recently i found out they had ghosted ANOTHER person on payment so that's what made me feel i should let other's know so they can be weary of them

EDIT: someone who'd like to remain anon has sent me some screenshots of them also being ghosted on payment

EDIT 2:
the person of the screenshot i posted above where nyu had
offered on an adopt while they still hadn't sent
payment for me (screenshots in the 2nd spoiler tab)
DM'd me showing they were also not sent payment
and were ghosting them even though they were online
so its safe to assume they could have been purposely ignoring them

here this person got ghosted on payment on a custom tht was part
of a closed species ( mignyans ) to where they had to let one
of the mods know just in case nyu tried to get the mignyan approved anyways
even though they never sent the payment

and a person who would like to remain anon wanted to add that even after this
nyu was still actively offering on high priced designs (they offered on a design they had for sale for $110)
though a bit after they sent me this screenshot nyu has made a bulletin saying they are taking a break to better themselves

(edit: which they haven't and still continue to make the same mistakes, please just be weary when accepting their offers as they still haven't proven themselves to be trustworthy with money)

brockhampton it was public when it was first posted but I can't see it now either. but i think the gist was that they were apologizing for being shady and that they'd be taking a break after sorting things out with people they still owe i think (I could be wrong cause I recently read another bulletin similar dfghdfgh but if not, that's what i vaguely remember being in it then)

edit: was also them acknowledging they were aware of A callout? (not sure if it's this post or unrelated) that's what the bulletin was named "callout" also

Before I begin, I would like to mention that I knew about this beware basically from the beginning. I accepted their offer, and I looked up their name afterward because it's a big sale and wanted to know if they're a known scammer/someone who does chargebacks. I found this and at first was thinking about canceling and blocking but decided to go with the flow to get more information on this person to post here.

MuddyRoach / Credeekitty commented on my oc, Malu on June 25th, offering the full resale ($400) -- the comments are still there

I accepted and they dmed me about the hold saying they'd need a hold until next month (July 10 or 15)

By this time I'd already knew about this warning bulletin, I replied saying I'd put her on hold until July 15th

I actually kinda forgot about the hold so I dmed them 2 days later once I remembered, they never attempted to reach out to me the day of the end of the hold or the day after. I dmed them again yesterday (July 17th) to tell them I forgot and to reply so we could work out a time that day they could send the payment and I could transfer the OC.

It's been a full 24 hours since I sent that DM. They had been online at least once that I know of since I sent the DM. So they probably ignored it. I Dmed them again saying I'm canceling the hold and left it at that (Ignore my typo)

From another person credeekitty ghosted, tooth ache this time ! ( i can't remember if they've used this excuse before because it sounds familiar to me? but ignore me if not )

Info: The user ab’ed one of my designs of $70 on July 12, i messaged them where to pay which they responded with wanting to put it on hold until July 14 with even giving an extra $30 tip for the wait. I accepted. The 14th came around and I messaged them again my PayPal to pay, they did not message me back until the 17th where they gave an excuse of having a really bad toothache, that was the reason of why they couldn’t pay me. I then respond with asking if they have a set day or range they have in mind, I did not get a response back. On the 19th they responded saying that they will give me a set time but never did. On the 22nd I decided to cancel the deal, as much as I needed the money I couldn’t keep dragging it on. They have not responded to me either.

edit: i forgot to add on but it seems they ghosted at least 2??? people within the same week w/ big $$ promises . _ .

brockhampton I literally have 0 clue 😭 but it's been over a YEAR with this, I'm surprised tbh they haven't changed, considered their actions as wrong for long or not even banned/suspended??
