so i figure i should make a beware after finding out they have ghosted someone else on payment for adopts they see on the trade listing and ghosting them for about over a week with no explanation as to why they haven't sent payment other than saying they have been busy.
over a week ago they offered $50 on an adopt i had put up on the trade listings
after i accepted their offer and sent them my paypal link to pay, they never sent payment.
i waited 2 days before msging them again asking them if they were still interested since they never sent payment and they said they were !
again, they didnt send payment.

i saw them offering over $100 on other people's adopts while they still have not sent the payment for mine so i msg'd them again
(btw they didnt send this person the payment either and the person sold the character to someone else)
basically a very vague answer/explanation and STILL had not sent payment so i ended up putting the character back up for offers and letting them know
to which they never responded.
recently i found out they had ghosted ANOTHER person on payment so that's what made me feel i should let other's know so they can be weary of them

DM'd me showing they were also not sent payment
and were ghosting them even though they were online
so its safe to assume they could have been purposely ignoring them

here this person got ghosted on payment on a custom tht was part
of a closed species ( mignyans ) to where they had to let one
of the mods know just in case nyu tried to get the mignyan approved anyways
even though they never sent the payment
and a person who would like to remain anon wanted to add that even after this
nyu was still actively offering on high priced designs (they offered on a design they had for sale for $110)
though a bit after they sent me this screenshot nyu has made a bulletin saying they are taking a break to better themselves
(edit: which they haven't and still continue to make the same mistakes, please just be weary when accepting their offers as they still haven't proven themselves to be trustworthy with money)
MontBlanc I'd probably tell the mods too so they can be aware of them if they aren't already? (I think some CS are already aware of them & their behavior)

herosaveme Many people here, myself included, gave firm dates and were still ghosted. This isn't an ADHD issue (treated or untreated), this is someone who knows what they are doing and is doing it malishishly for shits and giggles.
herosaveme just like dawnpainterz said, so many people here gave clear dates, said what would happen if they didn’t reply. They admitted to knowing what they were doing and that it’s a bad thing they’re doing. Not only that, they open the messages and never reply unless they’re called out on it.
herosaveme it's as Nine had said, in fact there were reports before you of this person paying for some of the things they offer on. The problem here is on avg they would offer on 200-300 high payment adopts ($100-900 range) and only pay for around 6 of them a year.
In my personal case, they promised me $200 for an adopt so I could pay my rent, they were very friendly but they ghosted me in the final hours before my landlord went into the eviction process. I can't explain in words the toll that took on me mentally knowing my family was about to be homeless, living in a single-cab pickup truck and it would be my fault for trusting Vamp at her word that she would pay me. Luckily, an art group I'm in came thru and got me well over the amount and we made the rent with a few minutes to spare. It was tight and caused me stress on a level that no one should have to go thru. Had Lucky/Vamp been upfront with me about the hold being unsure or letting me know at the soonest point they could that they would no longer be able to pay for it, like a normal human being, I would not have relied on that payment for the missing amount of rent and would have looked to other avenues for making money well in advance.
I want to make it clear that I too have mental & physical health issues; none of them are the responsibility of others to manage, they are MY responsibility to keep in check. Regardless of Lucky/Vamp mental state, they know what they are doing, they know it hurts people, they know and have addressed it publicly and in DMs with the people affected. They know, have lied that they would stop, and continue to repeat this bad behavior that they know hurts people over and over again. This is why I have no sympathy for her; there's no actual want to get better. Only want to not be in public trouble.
dawnpainterz I am so sorry to hear what Vamp’s ghosting caused. It’s this type of situation they’ve been putting others through and continue to do so. Them having ADHD is no excuse for their behavior, especially when they are fully aware of what they’re doing.
dawn's story (mine & many others too) is the exact reason i keep this up because it's incredibly frustrating to be screwed over while you're already financially struggling. It's like a 1 out of 10 chances they'll pull through and people should be in the know until they prove themselves to be upfront & trustworthy with payment & communication .
