Hello there! Welcome to the autumn MYO Event for The Caffae Café!

Firstly, just what are Caffaes and Decaffs?

Caffaes are brownie-like creatures that are born from coffee! Their unique traits are their bean halos, the grind dust on their wings, and their catalysts.
They have the unique ability to shift between inches tall to average human sizes at night, while their catalysts allow them to channel their abilities into magic, which allows them to clean more efficiently.
They will often mimic the cultures of their homeowners, both to better clean and to assimilate with the lives of their homeowners.
Meet our Caffae mascot, Maxim! Other NPC Caffaes include our shopkeeper Penny and our head of gambling Audrey. You can also see user-submitted Caffaes HERE.

There is a darker side to this species, though, and that is the existence of the subspecies Decaffs.
When a Caffae directly harms their homeowners or the invited guests of them, their bean halos are instead replaced by bean spikes.
With the contract between man and fae broken, Decaffs gain an assortment of visual traits that could stray into body horror. Extra eyes, limbs, and even seeping darkness have been sighted on these creatures.

What does this MYO event entail?

During the month of September, you are able to claim a free MYO of Rare or Super-Rare, with the option to add Legendary Traits!
When claiming a slot here, you can select one Event-Only trait from the list; additional slots purchased will normally have the additional Event-Only Trait randomized, so this slot is good for any plans you may already have.

Anatomy-shaped Catalyst (catalyst): You can make anatomically-accurate hearts, brains, and all the ins and outs of a human (or animal) body!

Gorgon (kemonomimi): This head of hair will be quite slithery! You can also use the Fusion kemonomimi trait to change the hair type, such as to tentacles.

Ghost (kemonomimi add-on): Out of all the ghosts and ghouls in the world, which one would you want to be? This add-on allows you to make your Caffae into a ghost, and the type of ghost is up to you!

MYO Claim Period: August 28th-October 1st
MYO Expiration: December 1st

You can claim your free MYO slot in this thread, as well as claim your free first-time owner slot on either the Toyhouse World or within the Discord server. That's two Caffaes for you, for free!
However, do note that this thread's slot will expire on December 1st. That gives you two months to finish your slot!

Being a member of the Discord server will also allow you to request an extension, if the two months isn't enough.
