maybe you can make another sketch version of an individual with their veil fully covers their face? (since the veil is something they use to ensure their privacy I'm sorry if it's an intrusive opinion but your concept is cool and I hope it can be fleshed out perfectly)

Hello hello, welcome to the world of Velaveils! We are a semi-closed species group with lots of opportunity to make designs and friends! All brand new members are alloted one common MYO slot as long as they follow the rules and guideline.

Velaveils are draconian creatures who are able to traverse between their world and humans. Sightings of Velaveil’s are not uncommon in the mortal realm, but have been depicted in mythologies throughout the world. Depending on the region and timeframe, they are either known as harbingers of wealth, prosperity, and good faith… or death, destruction, and corruption.

- Note: Whatever rarity you have allows you to use the lower tier rarities. (This does not apply to purchased trait upgrades where you are only allowed to upgrade 1 Species trait).
- Ex: Uncommon MYO slot - allowed all common and uncommon traits.
- Ex2: Rare MYO slot -allowed all common, uncommon, and rare traits.

The lore you have is definitely eye catching oml- it's the type of lore/world that's perfect for writing prompts and such! I do wonder what's the process of them getting created tho :0
Like if there's a special ritual or if a higher being specifically likes to find curious souls like this to make into these creatures

You do have a good point about their creation!! I've honestly thought it through and I'm still trying to figure out what would be practical for the lore and overall character interaction. Definitely something I need to look in to!! 🤔
LamiasLuck ancient entities making a deal with mortals is definitely an option as their main purpose is to seek knowledge or answers for what has been intriguing them before death >:D
like this ancient entity is absolutely neutral and they grant the souls a chance to remain on realm of the living either to do good or just watch the world burns. the souls get what they want and in return the ancient entity can entertain themself with the stories they got
