Hello There! Welcome to Quintovos - a closed species and ARPG (Art Role Playing Game). The species are humanoid, but are multi-formed beings known for their array of colorful markings, single horn, hooves, and a donut-shaped tail. Their world resolves around traveling through space to Lotune: placing their home district on a planet that caused odd magic mix into their daily lives. This Month's Event celebrates the spring season and continues on the Choose Your Adventure Story. Spring has begun on Lotune! Petals flow with the wind through the environment as odd flowers bloom all around. Quite a few flora-enjoying Quintovos have collected them and set up stalls to appreciate the new plant life. This has only improved liveliness as curious Aertovos join the district! Quintovos, Aertovos, and Imptovos alike have begun to exchange introductions and go out exploring! We’ve got a few prompts in store these months….

✦What are Quintovo?✦

Quintovo are multi formed aliens that are known for being explorers of space. They are most notable for their single horn, four eyes, varying ears, hooved feet, and a peculiar circle tail. They’re all individualistic with an unlimited array of colors and markings! Their humanoid forms are tall and their primal even larger! But despite their size/predator physique; Quintovo are known to be incredibly friendly and inquisitive. They love to explore space and situate communities on other planets. With an aim to share their technology and learn from others.
The Quintovo community of the Warehouse District is no different, originally landing as a small research team, they partnered with a town called Marble City and have remade the abandoned Warehouse District into a thriving hub for other Quintovo. But as of July, a big lore/event overhaul took place to throw them in a brand new environment on the planet Lotune. Along the way they’ve unlocked new traits, gained companion pets, and participate in events and their own social networks! Not only that, but they've manage to unlock a third form via an obtainable pendant.

This species first began in 2016 and has recently finished its revival period of being moved to TH and Discord with updated experiences. The group runs like many CS, as well as a sort of RPG group: with monthly art prompts, events, in world-currency, in world pets, and shops. There are many ways to get a Quintovo! MYO slots are available via USD or Stars (which are free! Stars are gained by participating in Events or creating art!) ((Newbies also get a MYO ticket half off for 150 Stars and get 40 Stars when joining the Discord! Just say hi/let us know so we can getcha the welcome gift)). So when you join both the world/discord: make sure to mention this! Old Members: inviting any new people this month will also get you 10 Stars! Aertovo Info (2024 Subspecies):
"An odd sighting of this subspecies from an old lost transmission comes to mind when first seeing them. But in 2024 they’ve made contact and are finding Lotune to be a lovely place to call home with the other Quintovo and Imptovo residents! Aertovos come from a long line of Quintovo’s that began on a planet nearby Lotune called Aeris. This galaxy seems to share many misted traits and the Aertovos of Aeris are no different. Through the years: their tails changed and eventually split off with fluffy ends. While their markings faded to simple shapes or gradients: protective scales and spikes appeared to replace them with just as much variation. Most noticeably: they gained a dual plated ridge that starts at the base of their neck to the middle of their tail. Recordings of these changes are vague however, it seems Aeris has enveloped it’s Quintovos with mist: much like the floaters trait. But it seems the mist stays in shape: preferring to attach and give their hair a flowing look. And their last trait is an oddity: under their horn lays an opaque and simple oval like scale, referred to as a ‘jewel.’ This allows an Aertovo the ability to float just slightly in any form.
Speaking of form: they have the same heights as normal Quintovos: but their feral form is much longer…which gives quite the impressive visual to see such a large primal form float through an area."

That's right!! Aertovos are the "newest" Subspecies of Quintovos. A nice fit for Year of the Dragon huh? With their spikes, scales, and ability to float: these guys will become normal to see around Lotune as Aeris is only a semi-long travel away. On top of this: they are easier to gain than Imptovos: having both MYOs in the shop AND in the Forum for USD. (more on how exactly to get them here)

"During the whole month of July, new members can create and register one common MYO design! As a closed species, someone must either get an adopt or use an MYO ticket." Meaning people in this species can't normally even submit a design to be approved??? That's bizarre.
Hello! Hopefully I understand what your comment is saying-as with most closed species, designs can be submitted and approved with a MYO Ticket (for new and old members). This MYO event is for specifically First Time Owners (meaning new members who don't already have a character in this species), which means new members can make a new design and get it approved for free! Members who have designs already are also able to enter for the free raffle for this event.
This does not mean people in the species can't submit designs to be approved! If you check out the world, members can get MYOs using both IRL currency and In species currency (which is gained by doing art) Here and Here. This event is just a fun way to welcome to members during the Art Fight month! We already had a free MYO for new and old members two months ago so most members got a free design then if they wanted to make one!
Hopefully that explains it and makes it not bizarre! The wording you quoted is just meant to say: This month new members get a free MYO Ticket! And afterword is just cementing that by saying people can get designs for the closed species by already made designs (adopts/trades/etc) or create one with an MYO ticket . :]
