Hello!!! I saw the person who originally ran the thread was not active anymore so I am going to take over the thread so I can keep it managed,, hope that's ok!! :D

so there are a couple of ship art threads, but i dont think theres one specifically for oc x canon! this is like a typical draw the person above thread, only with a specific theme of oc x canon art! (SELF-INSERT IS SO VALID TOO!)

***Please specify the TYPE of ship as well, so people know if it is romantic, friendship, etc.

rules:

ping the person you are claiming. there arent exceptions to this rule, and please be sure you ping them in your original claim, not in an edit, since people dont get notified for pings that are edited in.
this thread is SFW. even if you are okay with receiving NSFW art, allowing it on a thread visible by all ages could cause trouble. if somebody over 18 wants to create a mature version of this thread, go ahead, you dont even have to ask me. while all NSFW is banned, please also include trigger warnings for any other sensitive content.
please, put effort into your art. this is not the 5 minute doodle thread. while “quality” of art cant be objectively measured, all im gonna say is you should put in the same amount of effort you do on average for art.
no art style or skill level discrimination. everyone is welcome to participate, so if you attempt to only let people with certain art styles or skill levels claim for you, or you complain about the piece you get, you will be banned. art games are for fun, dont bring other people down over them.
please try not to take longer than two weeks to fill your claim. this is an art game, it doesnt need to be a masterpiece. while needing an extension is sometimes understandable, if someone has taken longer than a month to fill a claim for you, by all means list your claim in the unfilled claims thread!
if you have claimed already, please dont claim again until youve finished and sent your art for your other claim. ideally, wait until two or three other people have posted before you claim again too, although this can be decreased to one if the thread seems to have died.
NO SHIPPING UNDERAGED CHARACTERS WITH ADULT CHARACTERS. The only exception for this is platonic familial relationships, like a father-son relationship. AGING DOWN OLDER CHARACTERS DOES. NOT. COUNT. EITHER.

Althea is the daughter of Apollo and is in general very golden retriever-like, she is very musically talented and skilled in archery, though she was unfortunately not born with healing abilities despite being a child of Apollo. Though If she prays hard enough to her father she may be able to heal people she truly loves, but even then it's a small chance of success. To make up for this she has slight photo photokinesis and can make her hair glow slightly when it is dark.

Nova Thorne and Envy Adams (Romantic)

Nova joined Envys rock band as a lead guitarist, they often write music together or have little jam sessions, Nova can't stand Todd (He likes to push her buttons) so Envy often has to break up a fight between them and comfort Nova after. Nova has BPD so Envy has to comfort her a often after an episode.

they take care of each other in the cruel world, Annie helps Yuki train in hand to hand combat and in return, Yuki makes sure Annie doesn't forget to eat and hydrate herself. Yuki often sneaks into Annie's bed at night for comfort

Tami x Shuten (onmyoji) - romantic preferred. At the moment I prefer his Doomsday Highway (google doc LINK) version from Onmyoji Arena Peccatum collab, but SSR/SP from the RPG is also fine ! (SSR ref link || SP ref link)

For Peccatum/Doomsday Highway: Tami and him both love rock and metal, and red/black alt fashion. Shuten is a bassist, and Tami would like to learn the bass. HC: Tami was invited by Shuten to be the band's personal graphic designer, but she will end up bonding with the band and have a bigger involvement, especially with the leader Shu.

Tami x Ibaraki (onmyoji) - romantic or close friendship ok. I'm fine with any of his SSR or SP versions in term of designs, and Tami can be male. Both Tami and Ibaraki are fierce fighters, energetic and somewhat bold. But they're both sweethearts and care deeply about Mt Oe and their friends, especially the Demon king.

Bonus: all 3 can be shipped together in a polyamorous ship, if you want to draw a poly ship. Both Tami and Ibaraki have a deep love for Shuten and admire him, and Iba and Tami are getting along well.

Jamie x Sun, Moon, or Eclipse - Romantic - Jamie is sort of like a stabilizing and grounding figure for them, who validates their feelings and frustrations and helps them with anything they need. He treats them with nothing but kindness, love, and patience and they return that in their own ways. Note: Any of his outfits shown are completely ok to choose from! You can also change up his makeup if desired. He's also shorter than them.

Remmy + Glamrock Freddy - Platonic, Friends - Remmy is a little friend for Freddy! He loves riding on his shoulders around the pizzaplex and having long conversations with him.

Dearil + Reala - Platonic? - Dearil loves messing with Reala and trying to make him laugh, and Reala pretends he hates it- but, it's a well deserved break and a little spot of joy for him. Note: You can choose between the NiD and JoD versions of Reala. Dearil can shapeshift to a degree, and have any number of eyes or mouths and spikey growths, so feel free to do what you like on that front!

I just have one pair of characters here

- Echo x Natsu (Fairy Tail): Romantic! They're dating <3 Echo fell first, and Natsu fell harder. They're very different from each other, but very similar at the same time - Natsu's a very weird and silly outgoing extrovert, while Echo is a very shy and timid introvert (She's still weird on the inside though :3). Natsu helps Echo come out of her shell and be more openly weird. They also both use fire magic - so they work very well together in battles! Echo can make items out of fire, and Natsu can eat and breathe fire.

Natsu has an AU form here but it's not required! (If you draw the AU form, some of my dreamie art for them is Natsu carrying Echo while flying! <3 you don't have to, though)
