AU where Fang is still adopted by Wukong, but her original family heritage resides with a royal lienage of powerful Phoenix Fire demons.

I hold his character as sort of like the person who's like "I can't afford to be weak, and having friends, lovers, will only make me weak because people could use them to hurt me."
He's the kinda guy that takes that sort of mindset to the extreme, whereas Wukong just secludes himself so he doesn't hurt ANYONE.
With Fang tho, he sees her potential, he had a bond with her as a child, wanted her to thrive and survive instead of get squashed by the weight of the world. So he taught her the only way he could, the way he was raised, through pain and fear.
He kidnapped her as a child to get her to recognize the dangers of how quick a situation could arise, and that she'd need to pull out all the stops if she wanted to survive.
He offered her training as a child when she left home because he saw how little she actually knew of the 'other side' and how rough it would leave her if she wasn't more careful. (Hint hint, storm demon.)
And now he offers his aid to her again because he sees just how much she's struggling to compensate for her title as her father's successor, as well as the fire in her arm. He see's her potential to become stronger, he wants her to become stronger, so then he won't have to worry about her anymore.
And Fang see's that finally, having dated Red long enough. It's the same way his parents treated him. Distant so they wouldn't hurt so much when they had to do something hard, or wouldn't worry about Red and his life.
So when Mac hurts her again, having her rage lash out at him like that thinking that she'd feel better when she finally hurt him like he hurt her, she see's what he was really trying to do. That he was never trying to kill her, just prepare her for the hell to come.
And later on I figured she'd approach him and speak with him about that. Whether he likes it or not lol

Owner of the Anti-Gravity Arcade, and known maker of mischief and secrets, this devious demon is capable of controlling time within his domain. (The arcade)
He's friends with Fang and Red, despite the two seeing him more as a nuisance in the beginning, but after helping them find out loose ends, as well as frequenting the arcade for their date nights, they steadily became close aquaintances.
