The Aermerea-Minecraftia Halloween Bash

Lucky is an Amorapuff living in Minecraftia. He just recently visited his species' home and wants to do something nice for all the Aermereans he's met there. So what better way this time of year then to invite them to his world for a Halloween party? Written for Aermerea's October prompt! :D

Hey, everyone! I have a new literature today!

I wanted to work on something for the October prompt/contest in Aermerea, and well, I wanted to write a little story about characters from Aermerea's mascots interacting with some of mine.

So, I present to you:

The Aermerean-Minecraftia crossover!

Here's the first chapter of two! Enjoy!

Invitation

Momo blinked in surprise, taking a moment to glance at his fellow Amorapuffs. He could see Morkio with a bewildered look on her face, while siblings Kurahiko and Kurami giving the Amora before them very different faces. Momo turned back to the Amora in front of them, one known as Lucky Alstrom.

Kurahiko tilted his head. “So, what is this place called again?”

Lucky, the rainbow Amorapuff, rocked on his heels as he told them, “It’s called Minecraftia. It’s split into lots of planets with different levels of technology and evolution, much like the different places and districts here in Aermerea! The one my companion and I live on is called Creaturae. It’s not the most modern place, but it’s not that different from here with its many species and reliance on magic.”

Lucky took a moment to flip his curly hair on the side of his head. “It’s really a beautiful place, and I want more Aermereans to know about it! It’s a place that means so much to me and my companion, and the whole family I have there!”

The four other Amorapuffs seemed to think over his words and shared glances of confusion and deep thought with each other. There was a beat of silence and Lucky was almost afraid he had said something wrong. However, he jumped in surprise when Momo began to squeal in delight.

“Oh, it sounds wonderful, Lucky! This place of Minecraftia sounds like a new place to have fun! And if there are already Aermereans there, I’m sure we’ll be right at home!”

Lucky nodded with a laugh. “I agree! There’s many of our kind in my home, and others from the other parts of their universe, on the other planets.” He looked to the more cautious Kurahiko, who seemed to be pursing his lips in concern. “And you don’t have to come alone. You can invite any other Aermereans that you might think would love to join you and learn our traditions in Minecraftia. And I can promise you, everyone in my home is willing to fight should you end up in danger. We’ll keep you all safe.”

Another moment passed with no talking, before Momo looked up and pleaded with the three other Amorapuffs. “Please, guys? This sounds fun!”

“... Alright,” Morkio finally spoke, her gentle voice coming through. “I suppose we could join you for a visit to this realm. And you said we may invite others to come along?”

Lucky nodded. “Yes, Morkio! Bring a few friends or people you feel comfortable with, the more, the merrier!”

Kurami chuckled. “If you say so. We’ll make arrangements, gather some of the others, and we’ll meet you at one of the gateways so we can all make our way to your world. Lucky, do you know how to use the gateways here?”

“Of course. Let me know when you all are ready, and I can certainly show you to my home.”

A strange sound rang through a large forest, and a large pink and purple cloud swirled into the air, before dispersing as a large group of humanoids stepped out of it. The group was made up of several Aermereans, and as the rest looked around to see where they were, Lucky looked towards the horizon, towards the direction of his home. He could see the sun beginning to set under the hills, and he knew they needed to get to the kingdom before it got too dark.

“Alright, everyone! Follow me!” Lucky gestured to the other Aermereans and began a light sprint down the large hill they stood atop.

The gates to the kingdom of Creatoria opened wide, and in walked several Aermerean beings, with Lucky leading them into the streets. Many of the kingdom’s people, all dressed in costumes and suits, looked up to see where the chatter and footsteps were coming from. Lucky was dressed up to look like a walking rainbow with cloud shoes and the grin on his face was undeniable as he made his way down the streets with his new friends in tow.

Momo, dressed as a cupcake, caught up with Lucky and noticed how people waved to them and didn’t seem to be hostile or confused about the Aermereans. “Lucky,” they asked. “They seem very comfortable with us. Do many other Aermereans live in this kingdom?”

The rainbow clad Amora nodded. “Yes, I live here, as well as a couple other Amoras, a GalaxyBaby-Amora I know, and a couple of other GalaxyBabies as well! Many other Aermereans have come here, too, so we’re not really too odd of a sight here. I’m the companion of one of the rulers of this kingdom as well.”

The journey to the castle wasn’t very long, and Lucky ushered his Aermerean friends inside the largest room, the throne room. Inside stood a few humanoids, the most noticeable being a femenine looking person dressed in a unicorn outfit. The two others next to her were more masculine looking, one dressed as a bear, the other dressed as a magician.

Lucky spoke, finding himself smiling widely. “Aermereans, these are the rulers of the kingdom of Creatoria! This is queen Celina, king Cenlar, and my companion, Brine!”

Celina nodded and held her arms out to her sides, as if a sign of welcoming the beings from another world. “Welcome, Aermereans! I’m glad you could make it to our celebration of Heroween! You may do whatever your heart desires here, we’re excited to have you all! Lucky here has talked of nothing but the beauty of Aermerea and all his new friends since his visits there, and we’re glad to meet you all in person! Please, explore the kingdom to your heart’s desire! And may you all have fun!”

As soon as Celina stopped, Brine, in his bear costume, walked up to Lucky and grinned. “Well, you certainly brought quite the party with you,” he commented.

“Well, I made a lot of friends,” Lucky responded. “Thank you guys for letting me bring them, I’m so excited to show them around!”

Brine chuckled. “Well, I’d like to meet some of them. Would you mind introducing me?”

“Of course!”

“Salsa, please, stay close,” Eudora spoke, watching the younger Bloompuff as he looked around with awe in his eyes.

“But Eudora! This place is so big! There’s so much to see!” Salsa was practically bouncing up and down in excitement and though it was endearing, there was a good chance he could get separated from his guardian.

Eudora sighed with a smile. She loved Salsa a lot, and it was nice to see him so excited about this new place.

“Excuse me?”

A voice calling to the Bloompuff had her turning on her heels to see a couple with two young girls with them. The male was blonde with fair skin and blue eyes, dressed as a sandwich. The female, with her much darker skin and wearing a hijab, was dressed as a glass of lemonade. The girls were dressed as small tea cakes.

The male spoke up. “Hello there. You must be Eudora?”

She nodded slowly. “Yes. How do you know?”

The female nodded. “Lucky’s told us a lot about you and the nursery. He’s told us so much of your kindness and compassion towards many who need it in Aermerea.” She chuckled. “My name is Amy, this is Sam, my husband, and our daughters, Molly and Ariel.”

The Bloompuff blinked in surprise, before smiling. “Oh… I wasn’t aware he told so much about me.”

“He has,” Sam spoke. “He says you have quite the way with the little ones and helping those in Aeremrea with finding homes for the children in need.”

Before she could say something, Salsa came back to Eudora’s side and squealed, “They have a big vegetable garden! This place is the best!”

One of the girls, the blonde one, looked up at the taller Salsa with a puzzled look. She seemed to be trying to figure out what Salsa was since he obviously didn’t look like her mom, dad, or sister. She took a step forward in curiosity.

Salsa seemed to notice this and turned to look at the child. He watched her tilt her head at him. He smiled. “Oh, hi! I’m Salsa! What’s your name?”

The girl smiled. “Ariel.”

“Hi, Ariel! Nice to meet you!”

“Do you have tail?”

Salsa nodded proudly with said tail wagging behind him. “Yep!”

Ariel inched a little closer. “Can I touch?”

“Sure!”

Salsa brought his tail around to let her see, and Ariel gently petted the large puff on the end. She giggled her little baby giggle as she did, seeming to be entranced by the puff.

Molly, her sister, walked up to her, standing not much shorter than the child Puff. “I think she likes your tail! She hasn’t met a lot of Bloompuffs before! She loves fluffy things!”

Eudora couldn’t help but smile from the proud look Salsa gave the two girls. She looked back up to Sam and Amy. “Your children are very sweet. I don’t think there would be any harm in letting them and Salsa play a bit?”

“I would agree,” Sam responded.

Effimia looked up at Eclair as she made small “Hm…” She could see the other Puff looking around with curiosity in her face. “What’s catching your eye so much, Clair?”

“Well,” came Eclair’s voice. “I’ve never seen a place like this before. It’s strange that other Aermereans live here, it’s strange to me to come to another dimension and not have all eyes staring at me.”

The cross Puff nodded. “I suppose so. But I imagine quite a few of the others here are not from this realm. I think Lucky said many of them jumped into this world from the portals found around Aermerea.”

“Ohhhh! Eclair!”

A voice calling for the pink clad Bloompuff had the two turning on their heels. It wasn’t a voice either of them recognized, but they both decided to see who was calling to them. There, coming down the street, was a tall woman who appeared to be made of iron and other metals. Flowers decorated her head and replaced her nose, and she was dressed as a skeleton.

Eclair looked up at the woman as she approached and blinked in surprise. “Um… hello. How do you know my name?”

“Oh! Lucky told me about you and Eudora working at the nursery. He told us a lot about all of you who live in Aermerea.” She chuckled, then bowed. “My name is Irona, by the way. I’m queen Celina’s iron golem and captain of the knights of the kingdom.” She clasped her hands together. “It’s a pleasure to meet you. Oh, and you must be Effimia?”

The cross Puff nodded and seemed to bounce in excitement. “Yes, that’s me! I didn’t realize Lucky told everyone so much about us.”

“Well, he was actually created here, so when he went to visit Aermerea, he was quite excited to come back and tell us all about it. He’s lived here since he was made, and he had never been to any other dimensions until his first visit.” Irona shifted her weight to one hip. “I’ve heard only good things about you two, especially Eclair and the way she helps so many children in the nursery.”

Eclair blinked, before smiling. “Well, I’m glad! You seem like a pretty nice person yourself, Miss Irona.”

Irona chuckled again. “Thank you, I try.”

Over on the hillside where the Aermereans had first appeared, another pink cloud began to form, before it puffed away in a shower of pink hearts. There stood two more Aermereans, and one of them looked around nervously. “Oh… oh, it looks so different from Aermerea. Everything is… square.”

“Well, yes, that’s what I was told. I’m sure we’ll be fine though. I can feel everyone’s energy over that hillside, so I think wherever Lucky guided them to must be that way.”

“And do you think we’ll be safe here?”

“I’m sure of it. Just stay close to me, okay?”

“...Okay.”
