A walk to school

 I'm walking to school with Saccharin. I can feel it's going to be another great day! I just hope Saccharin had studied for that English test we are having today, although I don't think of it to be much of a problem for him! He's usually pretty good at this stuff! I say to Saccharin, "Hey! Did you study for the test today?" 

"There was a test?!" Saccharin replies with a genuinely confused face and a hint of panic in his voice.

 "Yeah, the teacher said so yesterday."

 "Well, I guess I was too busy looking at you," Saccharin says. I think of this as a sort've weird comment made by my best friend but I decided to ignore it and pretend it didn't happen. We continue walking and talking about what's going to be on the test. We talked for only a couple minutes as our school was extremely close.

We both got into the school and then went our separate ways, with Saccharin making another strange comment to me before he left. That was strange and he doesn't usually act like that. I wonder what's up. Oh well, I guess I'll think about that later when I'm not rushing to make sure that I won't be 5 minutes later to class than usual, which is still before class even starts!
