Aleister

The bags were exchanged and Al took no measures to look at the contents of the bag he was given, both in absolute trust in Lasair and in a vague disinterest for money. But this would net him the materials for a new mask, or a new outfit from Behrouz, that was about all he really cared about.

Aleister folded his hands together as he watched Lasair turn the mask in her hands, pleased as pie she enjoyed his workmanship. He was perhaps the only one not flinching at her roar, or not visibly, though he was pleased she picked a lion of all sounds she could make.
The owner of the bar had been throwing them LOOKS though, that much he could tell. Eh, he'd tip them later.

"As you should. It's made to be used. It's magic won't last forever, though if it loses it's power by the time it's part of your inheritance, I'll refresh the spell for the next owner." Al continued, entirely blase about the matter.  Aleister gave her a good look as she leaned towards him, cocking his head ever so slightly. "Who, Sovid the terrible liar? I'd say we should've gotten onto giving that man his due payback ages ago." Perhaps, in the moment, he'd forgotten parts of their last meeting, entirely offended still by Divos' ways of trying to get rid of him. "What is there an illusionist cannot pull off. Whatever you have in mind, Lasair, I daresay it should be impossible for us not to achieve."
