Fishing Prompts

Now, usually Dots' adventures take them to Stardust Beach, rather than Sunken Mall, but today Dots was looking to do something a little different. So, after leaving a note to Daisy in his own special way, and packing a small lunch, Dots headed off to the Strange Realm!

The trip itself wasn't very eventful, just as regular as a train ride, but once he got to the Sunken Mall itself, Dots was hardly able to contain themself with excitement! A new place, new things to discover -- Maybe even new friends to meet! The possibilities were endless!

But, today, Dots was just here for a relaxing fishing trip. So, brandishing his wishing rod, Dots found a cozy little fishing spot, and made himself comfortable. There's a lot of waiting involved with fishing, but thankfully Dots is very good at waiting. Especially when he could so easily get lost in thought. This time, though, Dots did not fall asleep.

After a couple of hours of no bites, Dots took a break for lunch. He cheerfully nibbled away at his fish basket -- then he heard a splash in the water! Getting spooked by it, he dropped the best piece of fried fish that he was saving for last. He watched it as it started to sink, and then got gobbled up by a different fish. Dots took a moment to contemplate the irony of a fish eating his fried fish, before closing his eyes, and packing the rest of his lunch up.

Usually, he'd be disheartened enough to just go home, but this time, he was filled with more determination! He was going to catch that fish, and then he was gonna fry it up and have another fresh basket of fish, even better than the last!
